Inspection following repair work they did last year. Tech was knowledgeable and kept me apprised of all steps he was taking. We discussed possible options going forward, was impressed with the way he was able to explain things in lay terms that were clear and understandable.

Cody came out and looked for an oil Leak where freon was leaking. He didnt find one. So I agreed to charge the sys. tem and see if it would hold. 350.00 It didnt. I called Climate Dr. and they sent Jay . He Took the top off the out side unit climbed inside and used leak detectors and found the leakand fixed it. 680.00 well spent . 350.00 dollars wasted.

When I needed a quote on a new A/C unit, Ed Wren, the President and Owner of Climate Doctors, came out personally to visit with me about my options. He was nice, cordial, and informative and provided me a reasonable quote within 24 hours. The install team at Climate Doctors (led by Chaco) showed up when they were supposed to, completed the job in a timely fashion and did great work. A day or two after the installation, they sent Pete, who is in charge of quality control, to make sure everything was working as it should. He was very attentive to detail and made sure that everything was set up correctly. When he noticed that a small washer and C-clip were missing from the attic ladder arm, he took it upon himself to go to the hardware store to replace those items and came back to install them for us. It’s nice to know that Climate Doctors takes care of even the smallest details. It gives me confidence that our new A/C unit should serve us well into the future.

Nicest and intelligent young man was by his Climate truck and was here to do another call. I mentioned that my vents seemed closed and I had no ladder to open them...brand new place and I am first renter on Green St so didn’t know for sure. Richard and his team are always respectful, tell me the honest truth, and have gone out of their way to get issues resolved as soon as they could (even if that means Richard and Ed change out the entire shaft of a unit themselves). Had a major issue with my old unit that caused some flooding in our home. Climate Doctors sent someone out that afternoon (less than 2 hours after my initial call). Long story short, we ended up having to replace everything. Climate Doctors team and Richard were very helpful and explained what would work best for our home. AC was installed a week later with an inspection to follow. AC works great! Everyone is extremely friendly and work was done for a great price. Most definitely recommend their company!

The technician Cody was very helpful and always made sure to communicate with me on what repairs he needed to make, how long it would potentially take, and always had a great attitude. The reason for 3 stars instead of 5 is that the overarching issues hasn’t been resolved yet and when I called the office to see when someone would return to the property to complete the job, I was told by a lady that they needed to call around and check and she would give me a call back. After a week of no call back, I reached back out and found out from a gentlemen that they would be out tomorrow. Cody is the sole reason for the 3 stars. Had the rest of my experience with climate doctors been as great as it has been with Cody, this would be an easy 5 star review.

Numerous flaws in the design of the air system installed, return system was grossly inadequate and insulation inside the vent was blocking air flow. All of this has led to our entire system being overgrown with mold! We are having to replace our entire vent/duct system!! We are also having to install an additional air return vent as the system installed is inadequate for the size of house!

This business is top notch. They have a quality product and quality people. Good job.

So we bought a brand new house almost 2 years ago to the day. The A/C never worked right. It would get cold but it would run nearly 24/7. Climate doctors came out in the first year while it was under warranty and worked on it at least twice in the first year. This summer we started having serious issues once again where the unit was freezing up, never shutting off, could not keep the house cool, so I called out another company since I was outside of the 1 year warranty. It took the other company all of 20 minutes to figure it out. Climate Doctors installed the coils in the attic upside down. And while this should be ok but not ideal as per the install instructions that came with the unit, the MORONS left a drain pan and piece of insulation on top of the coils blocking 1/2 of the air flow to the coil. I called climate doctors and they could not believe that they would have ever made an error. Please spend your dollars somewhere else. The owner Ed was very rude when I confronted them about this, and refused to accept responsibility. I had a mini-split A/C system installed this morning in my shop, and I could not be more pleased with the service and professionalism shown by Climate Doctors. They scheduled the appointment; showed up on time; and, completed the installation in 2 /12 hours! They did an excellent job of cleaning up after their work was finished, and the service manager took the time to go over the system with me. I was very satisfied and highly recommend Climate Doctors!

Our A/C went out on a Thursday night (putting the fear of a long weekend in our minds). After calling several well-reviewed companies, Climate Doctors were our first returned call at 7:15 Friday morning. Cody arrived by 7:30, was so kind and friendly, and our issue was fixed by 7:45. Update: I wrote my original review (below) after my complaint to the company was met with an insistence that $375 for only one hour of labor was an appropriate charge. After I posted the original review, the company contacted me and revised my bill to $183.50 (initial after hours 30 minute visit for $139, plus normal hours follow up of 30 minutes of labor for $44.50; no parts in my bill b/c of warranty). I applaud Climate Doctors for eventually acknowledging that the original amount billed was unreasonable. The service manager apologized, and explained that they do not intend for the labor billing to be as opaque as it was in my case. Rating upgraded to three stars.Original review follows.Bottom line: service @ $375 per hour. All parts of my system are under warranty. I called and asked how much for labor after hours, and was quoted $129/hr. The technician was at my house for 30 minutes after hours on one day, and 30 minutes during normal business hours a few days later. Total bill was $375. The office people explained that labor billing was by the task, not by the hour, despite my being quoted an hourly rate. They agreed that I indeed was not charged for parts.The technician quickly and efficiently got the system running again on the first day, so I am saying 2 stars rather than one. However, $375/hr is an attorney or physician rate, not an AC technician rate.

I have almost 75 duplexes and this is the only place I will have work on my acs! The technicians are AMAZING!!! Always nice and on time. The ladies in the office are super nice. Oh did I mention how good the technicians are???

Cody does an excellent job of thoroughly checking everything. He also explained the air quality measurements he took and gave me information about an advanced air filtration system. He is always very pleasant and courteous.

If these guys ever fall off the pedestal I have them on, theyll be seriously injured! They are the most accommodating, helpful, qualified folks around. They have always come to my heating and cooling emergencies quickly and provided excellent service! They are polite, well informed, and efficient, not to mention always most timely in arriving for appointments. They have replaced both by furnace and air conditioner in the last 25 years and provided great preventative maintenance for both units. They are very reasonable! I will continue to depend on them for my heating and cooling needs for as long as I live in the College Station area! I have recommended them to everyone who has been looking for this type of service! On hot summer days, when the AC goes out and they show up an hour and a half later to save they day, they go to the head of the line of heroes for me! Love these folks! Climate Doctors came out twice to repair blower on our a/C unit. They had to order parts for this repair. They got a/C running for the week end and returned on Monday. The only problem we incurred was communication from office to repair man on return visit. Everything else is working fine.

Left a message on the weekend. Was contacted first thing in the morning on Monday. Showed up the same day to take a look at my problem. Once identified, clearly explained the problem and what was needed to fix it. Before leaving suggested things to look out for and what might be needed it the issue was not fixed by the work that was already done.

Pete did a fantastic job changing out my parents AC/heater unit in the attic and also the condenser outside. His work was fantastic and he took the time to educate my parents on the reason for the replacement and how to work the new control panel.
