Needed to get the tires replaced for my Daughters car and Ive had good experience with Discount Tire in general over the years. As usual, I was able to get online, find an appropriate set of tires and place my order. I setup and appointment for the end of the week. I arrived about 20 minutes ahead of my time and the staff were courteous and efficient. Took less than 30 minutes and I was out on the road again with a fresh set of shoes for the car. Excellent experience here.

Visiting CS over holiday weekend and ended up with a screw in my tire, we buy all our tires from Discount Tire but they were closed for the Holiday so I went to a tire store near by (starts with a F S) they knew I was from out of town and said they would look at the tire 6 hrs later they call to tell me it needs to be replaced.....I said I will take to Discount Tire on Tuesday (really was trying to get home on Monday) did not believe it needed to replaced sure enough the honest guys at discount tire got it patched and sent me on my way!

Made an appointment to get my tires balanced and rotated. First salesman told me I needed new tires and I declined. 30 minutes later different salesman told me I needed new tires and refused to service my car. I’m a college student that cannot spend $600 on new tires immediately. Never had issues in the past at this location, but will be taking my business elsewhere after today.

Good service here. They repaired my tire free of charge after I drove over a nail. Happy to recommend this place.

Not very confident I can trust them! Sent my wife in for 2 new tires in July 2021. A week later both new tires were FLAT. And inspecting the tires, the valve cores were left unscrewed.The funny part is thats around the same time we get an automated email Bring your car over to discount tire to check the air pressure! Sure, guys...Is it really possible to do this accidentally?A few months earlier, they synchronized my 4runner spare tire TPMS with the computer, omitting one of the 4 wheels in use.

When they replaced my tires they replaced my nice metal valve caps with cheap ugly plastic ones. Also there was no valve cap on one of my tires. For the price I paid this should not be an issue

I got a nail in my tire at a store. Made an appointment with DTC. I dropped it off early and they fixed my flat in less than an hour. Guys were nice, helpful and efficient

I’ve been working in this town for 11 years. Used this store off and on because of previous issues with the staff just not listening to what was needed and I felt like they were trying to make money off me. HOWEVER after 2 years of not using them. Today, I HAD to get my tire fixed and I AM SO IMPRESSED with my entire expierence! I had the absolute BEST customer service from Josh Gram. The entire team was helpful. Inside of the store was immaculate and smelt good. I was in and out in great timing. I definitely recommend this location now! Thank you Josh for your help. Zach is an excellent sales rep. He quickly found me the right tires, showing me the specs on his computer and making sure I was planning for future use & didnt try pushing a pricier tire on me. The installation went quickly. One of the studs broke in the process, but DT took care of everything & referred me to a terrific auto repair shop.

Got my tires done reasonably quick and cheap (1.25 hrs). One of the tires went flat on the way home, but they replaced it for free when I came in a couple days later.

Joshua was a good Sales person polite and respectful so I definitely recommend Discount tires on Texas Avenue

We needed a new tire about 6 months ago so my husband brought it in and they replaced the tire. Dueing the process they claimed it had bad lug nuts (even though they were fine before we brought it in so unless they stripped them themselves 🤷‍♀️) and they wanted him to pay $45 extra for the replacement. He refused and said he would take care of it later. Minutes later they offered to give him new lug nuts for $20. He refused again and at the end they told him they replaced them for free. Super odd. Come to find out just today when doing some work on it ourselves that they put the wrong lug nuts on in an unusual size that is rarely used and caused my tool that came with the vehicle not to work on them. I could barely find a tool anywhere to undo what they did because the size is so uncommon. Would never trust a Discount Tire again after another location nearby also caused me other tire issues, so its obviously the company as a whole.

Josh, Brady and the whole crew did a great job on my truck. I was in and out in less than an hour for an all 4 replacement. My tires were special order and they got them to the store very fast. If you need tire work in CS this is the best place.

Typically I am huge a Discount Tire fan; but, I was incredibly disappointed with my last tire purchase.I had an appointment, pre-paid for tires online, waited for a sales rep, and then proceeded to wait for 2.5+ hours... with my toddler... 😈 I was told it shouldnt be more than 45 minutes.Chalking it up to a bad day for Discount, but Ill definitely arrange a ride next time.

The people who work here are so great! I came in just to get my tires filled with air and one of my tires was looking a tad flat so they took a look at it and fixed it right up for free. Josh was so kind in giving me information about insurance for my tires and just educating me on my tires as a whole. Customer service here is really 10/10. Didn’t even mind having to wait an hour :)

Tire pressure kept dropping. Finally got it looked at; apparently, it was a small piece of metal. They fixed it up for free in less than 30 minutes. Very nice people working there too.

Went in to have a tire checked and left with a set of Michelins! I believe tires and brakes are the most important parts of the car. These tires have really improved my ride. Thanks to Zach and Josh and everyone there.

Great place. They provide all tire service free for the lifetime of tires bought from them. They also recommend me to other autoshop for some repair that they do not offer. Their service is fast and precise.

Best price but on the store usually they try to sell the most expensive ones. I recommend to buy online the tires and set an appointment it saves you time and you get the tires you want.

Quick and painless! Purchased two new tires on their website, they were in store in the next couple days. I came in and they took my car, swapped the back two tires to the front and put the new ones on the back in about 20 minutes. All employees were friendly and professional. I will absolutely be coming back here for any tire work I need done in the future

I went to the store at south college station and had a terrible experience. But at this store they did amazing. They help us to understand all our demands, explain the products they had and we bought the 3 tires that we needed since September.

Fixed our flat and another tire issue, but it did take about 2 hours when they said it would only be half an hour.

Big shout out to Jacob and everyone at this location. They really took care of my son.

This discount much quicker than the one in south College Station. The team here is high energy,which is awesome,and they blow through vehicles quickly. Ill be driving here more often.

Always good service

Very disappointed. Discount Tire service is great. They sell a bad product. Ive been a professional courier/pizza/Uber driver for 30+ years. We buy a new set of tires every year expecting to get 60,000 miles in a year out of those tires. I gave Discount Tire a try. 6 months/14,000 miles later these tires are shot. I havent used these tires any harder than the others. Discount Tire is an expensive mistake I will never make again.

Great customer service and fast, walmart took an hour to tell me they couldnt fix my tire and didnt have the same tire in stock.

I support our local repair shop (another review) as much as possible but the pricing and warranty (applied across the US, for when traveling) of Discount Tire makes it difficult to compete for tires. I have bought from this Discount Tire for 13 years, and after my last experiance I learned the loyalty was mutual. Sliced a still good tire (50%) under warranty, so they were giving me a new one. My tires are a rare size and so they had to order them for next day. They said my spare was too old (15 years!) to be safe to drive on since I live 30 minutes away; they could not find a used one that fit so let me loan a brand new one to get home and back the next day! Said it was worth it to keep a good customer alive 🥺 I thank Brady (hope I got his name right 😬) for taking care of me. Added bonus, they seem to be taking COVID precautions seriously 👍🏻

Horrible service. All that was asked for was a tire change. Made changes to my vehicle without permission or telling me first. Also, kept my car for 5 days, including the weekend.

Ive been going to this location for 3+ years and its always been a pleasant and efficient. I can honestly say I trust them.

I drove in, no appointment close to noon on a Monday. They were busy, but got me in line and had me out in an hour for two tire changes and all new lug nuts. While there, all staff I observed were professional on the phone and in person. Everyone was working efficiently getting vehicles taken care of and on their way.

Noticed I had a flat tire on my way to work. Went to discount tire once they opened and they were nice and quick! I was there for about an hour but that was because there were 2 people in front of me and I didnt mind. Walked over to Koloche Rolfs and got something to eat so made the process less stressful. I would definitely recommend coming here than anywhere else for anything tire related!

I dont usually do reviews. But I figure these guys went above and beyond. I recently got tires for my roadster. They are custom rims and def not a common size for my car. I had purchased a set of 4 tires but went a little smaller in size to get a tiny stretched look and to gain just a tiny more clearance in the wheel wells. But it ended up changing the look and stance of the car. The sales team here had the customer in mind the whole time. I went back and explained that I wanted to keep the stance of the car the same. And with out a bink of a eye they said we want you to be happy lets find you the tires you need. We ended up ordering another set of tires and they swapped sets out for meAbove and beyond service even when the customer is being picky. Ill def be going here for more tires in the future

Accidentally selected the wrong model of my car, ordered a slightly smaller tire as a result. Called the store and helped me cancel the order. Then they helped me find the right size tires. I was a bit worried because the price was about $50 higher than I was previously paying, however everyone involved was so helpful and they even worked a deal with me on a better brand. Didnt have to wait until next week to get the tires installed, installed them in less than 30 mins. Great experience.

I love Discount Tire. It doesn’t matter where you go in country USA, if you look for the Discount Tire sign, they will help you. On this particular morning I was in and out with new tires on my big Ford truck within 40 minutes. I know time of day can make a difference, but the really valuable part of my experience was the very helpful, courteous, polite, and respectful service person. This seems to be an across-the-board attribute for employees of Discount Tire. Why go elsewhere? Highly recommend.

Very disappointed, with the manager and staff. Poor customer service and lack of knowledge. The guys had me sitting in the blistering sun for about 45 minutes, refilling up one of my tire about 6 times. After I told them I just needed a tire pressure sensor replaced. Finally the guy tells me park on the street and wait my turn because they had 3 other cars meanwhile my tire is losing air by the second and they told me if it runs out of air to just roll it in the bay flat. Eventually the guy comes out and tells me they could not fix it because of a small spacer it has made the tire to wide for them to work on. If u ask me it seemed the guys were where more worried about getting off at 6 then helping people out. Do not recommend taking any truck with anything other than a original rims and tires because they will not help waste of time.

Make sure they put all your parts back on/in your car. Been dealing with Discount tire for a long time. First time Ive dealt with incompetence. Called to ask for my part...couldnt find it. Nice!

These guys really go above and beyond to make sure you leave with safe tires. They were pretty busy when I arrived but it was still speedy service! I definitely recommend them. Brady Jones the store manager even took the time to make sure we were taken care of. Great experience!

Had an appointment and waited 20 minutes to even come inside. Bought 2 tires, and left with one of them at a low psi of 28 with the light on, when it should be 35.

I signed up for text alerts and my car was ready without half an hour of dropping it off on a Saturday. The service was great, no pressure with sales. There are plenty of places within walking distance to occupy your time.

Hands down, best experience Ive ever had in a tire shop. Needed 2 tires replaced on my truck. Walked in and was instantly greeted by Corbin, who gave me a nice firm handshake with eye contact and asked what I needed. I was glad to hear they had my tires in stock (theyre not very common anymore, old truck). They got right to work, 5 cars ahead of me and I was still in and out in less than an hour. One of my steel rims has had a dent on the lip of the rim for a while after I hit a curb really hard. Tyler called me in the middle of the service (id left to run an errand) and told me hed try to fix that dent as best he could. Previous tire shops had tried, but Tyler fixed the dent (free of charge) so well I couldnt even tell which rim had the dent after I got my truck back. Every time I interacted with an employee, they would address me by my name. This place does a great job for a great price with some of the best customer service Ive experienced at any business. Highly recommended.

Excellent, prompt service again. Each visit to this store I receive 5-star service, regardless of which tech greets me or works on my tires. This time it was Harrison. Using their handy chart, he described the status of my tires. He never pressured me to make a sale. He merely explained what I needed to be aware of as to the wear on my tires after discussing with me my driving habits and future driving schedule. The facility is always clean. The crews are super busy but always polite, friendly, and working quickly to keep customers happy. I have used Discount Tires for years in various cities and ALWAYS receive 5-star service. ALWAYS! I wont go anywhere else. This facility on S Texas Ave in College Station is terrific.Dec. 2018: Another visit thanks to a low tire. This time Tyler handled my problem. Same 5-star result as before. Ive been going to various Discount Tires, and this one is a great one in College Station. Always friendly, and very knowledgeable about the tires I need for my car. They are as fast as they can be while making sure everything is done correctly. I appreciate the staff and the ability to make appointments for rotating and balancing my tires.

Fast, great and friendly service...my tpms light came on. I went to a couple of tire shops and they couldn’t figure out the issue. They asked for 40 bucks just to reset it.Discount tire solved the issue with no charge in minutes...

Very polite, helpful staff! Went to get a flat tire replaced and I appreciated that they showed me the individual costs of the different tires, labor and recommended warranty before I paid. Some auto places act like youre dumb and dont make the effort to explain things to you politely. They are pretty honest and communicate clearly.

Ill never go anywhere else for my tires! The customer service here is always amazing, even more so now during these uncertain times of social distancing. They guys here are so efficient and kind.

Long time wait

I have never once had a bad experience at discount tire. They have always had fantastic customer service, and they always get me out of there quickly. I cant express just how much money theyve saved me over the years. The employees here are also extremely friendly and understanding. I wholeheartedly recommend this discount tire. I cant imagine going anywhere else for my tire needs

My tire had a warning today. I went to this shop. They are very friendly. One of my tires pressure was only 15! A screw was in it. They helped me to repair it for free!! A big help for me! I want to give them very big thanks!

I stood at the desk waiting for service for about 2-3 minutes waiting for service (alone). There were about 6 people in the chairs waiting on theirs vehicles. I knocked on the managers office and someone came out to help me. After that everything was great! The folks I delt with were very nice and personable. I came in at 12:30 during lunch and was done in about 45 minutes. I bought 2 tires btw.

Every time I go here I am treated with respect. The service is awesome and they really do care about their customers. You can also drive up and get your tire pressure checked any time. Had my tires rotated today. Took about 20 minutes.
