Would post zero stars if I could. They charge a disposal and record keeping fee which seems like price gouging that adds an unnecessary $15 to fees. (This is reportedly for to cover things like throwing away of supplies. Of note, I got my tires rotated, not changed, but i was told things disposal fees for towels and brooms.) The Attorney General and other Consumer Protection Agencies should be advised and time permitting I will. Employee called me mad for raising the issue even though I was just inquiring on the justification for the cost and Managers reasoning (above) was nonsensical. Very displeasedTo update, I received a call from the same Manager whom I mentioned above. The charge remains, though here I understand the feedback is concerning. I wasnt provided any further clarification than whats noted above. I was offered free tire rotations and asked to consider removal of this review for what its worth. Customer relations can contact me on the same number/email I was contacted on should some actual action to correct this issue be reached. Thank you

I contacted Eric in the Service Department by phone and advised him that I wanted to have the multi-point inspection done. When I arrived Eric was very courteous and professional and had my car brought in within a few minutes. He carefully explained the work that was to be done and offered several suggestions and recommendations for me to consider regarding future issues I should address. He was great.

I got my car in June of this year (from a different dealership), so I was very surprised that the battery went dead after 3 months of having it. Nissan was able to tow my vehicle to Darcars Nissan of College Park and they were able to get everything fixed in a timely manner. Im very happy with the outcome of this situation. I normally get my car serviced at this location, so I expected nothing less than great service!

It was okay. But when I left from getting a brand new transmission, a hour later my check engine like came on. They asked for me to leave my car but this is the 4 time I had to give my car up and don’t want to keep paying money for a rental I’m very disappointed because they told me everything was 100% good but it’s not. Plus I have a dent that I DID NOT MAKE! And they could have at least washed my car

I have never liked dealerships. They seem to be more arrogant when it comes to customer service. I didn’t expect Darcars Nissan in College Park to be any different until I met Eric in the Service Department. He shocked me with his friendly demeanor and candid conversation about my Armada. In the end, the work was done and I was completely satisfied and for the first time ever, I will have the work done at a dealership from here on out. Thanks to all the nice people in the Service Dept. and especially Eric. I’ll be back thanks to him.

My husband and I came in, were not happy with the price and we left. Kevin was kind enough to reach out and ask what he could do to earn our business. This showed us that he takes his job seriously and prioritizes the customer. Kevin was able to work with the manager to provide a deal that we could all agree to.As we continued our research, we learned dealerships are consistently adding a market adjustment at this time. At DarCars Nissan, this was $3k. At dealerships next door it was $10k. This further supported our decision to come back in and continue the conversation with Kevin.There also wasn’t anyone available to clean our car on the day of purchase, but Kevin worked with us to find a time to come in for a cleaning — including a fill up for the trouble.We LOVE our new car and are very happy with the service and price here. I purchased my vehicle here Aug 2020. This past Sat July 17th I returned for an oil change with a $59 service offer. Looking on my receipt they never applied the coupon I gave to them and over charged me. I was also told they couldn’t wash my car because the washer was down. I will NEVER return to this place.

This has been my worst experience ever. It took me 5 years to to realize how bad this dealership was. These people can be really manipulative & they dismissed my problems & anything I was trying to say. I was charged $1100 to just change the brakes when I originally came because the air Bag light was on & I wanted to see what the issue was.They tried to charge me $230 To diagnose the issue & Then I told him that my car only has 25,000 miles so I am able to use the warranty that is available. I will never go back to this place. They claim that A toy Unplug the airbag which is pretty strange Nissan rogue Mostly on people who has kids I really can’t believe this

Admittedly, I am a no-nonsense new-car buyer (i.e., just tell me your lowest price). It took a bit of searching, but I finally found DARCARS Nissan of College Park where I learned that courtesy and up-front negotiation is standard practice. Mr. Eddie Jorges (sales manager) quote beat the competition. Ms. Angel Turner (general manager) was supportive of a key request that I made which indicated her confidence in my trustworthiness. Finally, and most importantly, Mr. Kevin Escobar ensured that my entire experience, from the test drive to his personal delivery of the vehicle to my home, was pleasant. This young man has a bright future in car sales. His sincere and mild-mannered nature evoke honesty and invite honesty from his customers. Unfortunately I had to update my review from 5 stars to one. What a nightmare it has been! These people told me I had to turn in my VALID plate because they couldnt transfer it to the new car. This didnt make sense to me, but I trusted them to knew what they were doing, my mistake. After speaking with Eddie, the manager, I was told that I would be refunded by the tag agency upon return of my plate, and that wasnt the case. Now, 4 months after leasing my car I still dont have a plate, I have been calling non-stop and no one ever answers. I spoke with Will from finance who said he would take care of it and never heard from him again. Kevin was kind enough to send a new temporary plate while this whole ordeal is resolved. Its been an awful experience! Will not only never got back to me, but I had to go in TWICE because he filed the paperwork wrong. DO NOT LEASE/ BUY from here. They are only nice and caring when they are taking your money, other than that youre on your own. Kevin however, is the only good employee they have. OH YEAH, and I still dont have my plate/ havent heard from them...Previous review: Kevin from sales was a pleasure to work with, he was so kind, knowledgeable and understanding. The whole team was very nice and positive. The experience was seamless. I had some follow up questions and Eddie the manager was very kind to answer all of my concerns. I waited for 4 hours and was told my part had to ordered. I had to find away home, because I live outside the shuttle service. No phone call the next. I had to call twice to see if my vehicle was ready, because I had to get a ride there. I received a call after I confirmed the was ready that my car wasnt ready, because they couldnt find a part that mightbe on my. They needed to find the part to an unauthorized service or charge me $900.Ridiculous!

SCAM!The mechanics breaks your car, claim it’s just a “coincidence” and ask you to pay for the repair.Our car was in good shape, we went to the store on Saturday on 2pm for a regular car maintence: inspection + simple oil&filter change + tire rotation etc. (In the meantime they also suggested some expensive service that we rejected.) Two hours later, we got our car back and happily drove off, but we immediately realized the speedometer was broken, and MANY warning lights were on.We turn back to the store IMMEDIATELY and they claim mechanic was already GONE! (It was only 4PM-ish in the afternoon). The second day we called, they claim the person responsible is still not there.So I went in the store on Monday, now that they dragged us for two days they start to call it a simple “coincidence” and ask us to pay for the problem they cause! What a lovely coincidence.I find the situation outrageous not only for their incompetent skill, but mainly for their dishonesty: I think they’re trying to rip us off because we look like student who doesn’t know how to protect our right, so we’re planning to file a complaint form on the state government website against the store!

Mr. Keenan, was super pleasant, helpful, listened to my concerns and was Willing to help me right away. As soon as I walked in to the service area we were greeted with smiles and someone willing to assist us right way.I took my service to darcars Nissan in college park because of the horrible service I received at the ourisman Nissan in Laurel. I took my car in 5 times for the same issue and was told multiple times that they could not duplicate the issue I was talking about.As soon As I took my car to College Park Nissan. Mr. Keenan checked his system and realized that Ourisman Nissan in Laurel did the wrong update to my car and was the reason I was having the issues I was having with the volume on my radio. He also assured me that if the issue continue he would replace me with a new stereo. The new update was done about 3 weeks ago now and since have had no issues.I will only be taking my Car now to Darcars in College Park as long as Mr. Keenan is there.Thank you again for the amazing service you provided my family and I.

I was there for an oil change and I was offered synthetic oil and I was quoted a price that it was about 40% of was I had paid in the past, but I agreed, to my surprise that when I got my receipt and description of the work the oil installed was standard oil, definitely a rip off. I had bought my las 3 vehicles from this dealer, also my husband and son had purchased their vehicles from this dealer, my son and husband were deceived before but I continued coming over but this time was my last straw, I definitely will not come back for purchase or service.

I visited this location twice looking at buying a new car, and the first salesperson, Nelson, was great. When the time came to start talking price, the manager was SO rude to me and was using bullying tactics to get me to cave and buy the car for more than it was worth. He was so rude, I decided to not buy the car from them even after they dropped the price the next day to below what my budget was. Jokes on that guy, I guess.If youre a woman, fully expect to get pushed around at this place.

We talked then he asked why was I there.I explained why and he gave me a wait time inwhich I was very surprised because it didnt take that long at all. I just purchased a 2020 Leaf and the experience was fantastic! Kevin Escobar and Sales Manager Eddie Jorge were very professional. They gave me a very competive price on the car on the car and a great deal on my trade in. I talked to atleast 4 other Nissan dealers and all they were all signifcantly more expensive and insisted I come in for a test drive. I bought my car from there and go to them for servicing my car. Car wash is included with any service ( this is as per what their staff told me) yet the car is not washed during the service appointments. Even when I specifically asked for the car wash. During the car warranty period they never clean the battery, like they should. Once the warranty period is over, they check the battery and battery corrosion cleaning costs a good deal. Further they never fill the car fluids during the services within the warranty period.Their overall staff and service experience is good however the above mentioned issues exist. Within the warranty period, the customer should not worry about whether all the aspects of the car are taken care of or not, as we are handing the car to the experts. However this wasn’t my experience.

I know buying a vehicle fit your need is not an easy thing. I want to share my experience to help people like me to save time and efforts in your way to own a car. My first impression from phone call is those guys are professional, they seems transparent and objective in car price. But bad thing came after when I decided to make a purchase. The price of the vehicle went up over 2k just a day before my appointment. I am glad I realized this by checking their website just before I make a trip to their place. A guy told me the vehicle is not available, but I search their inventory, its the same car with same mileage but a higher price. There might be reasons that the car price went up. Thats not a problem to me, but what really make me feel uncomfortable is they didnt notify me before my appointment. I feel this is unprofessional to just lure you to their place with a low car price, and then once you go there theyll probably tell you the truth . So if you value your time and effort, please think twice before you go to this place.

Purchased a used Nissan Leaf at this location. Part of the sales contract was that I would be supplied with temporary Maryland tags at the time of sale and permanent Pennsylvania tags shortly afterward.Over three months later and I still dont have any Pennsylvania tags and the Maryland ones are expired. Dont trust them to do anything once you leave their location.

Service review:We brought in a 2019 Nissan leaf with ~12500 miles for regular maintenance, there were no problems with the vehicle. First red flag: Darcars could not find the record of the service performed at another dealership at 75,000 miles. I picked up the car about 5 pm (they said pick up before 7 pm) and the brakes felt pretty bad.... like air in the line (no pull until basically flooring the pedal, then locking the wheels). I called to ask them to fix the issue, because it was not safe to drive the vehicle.They initially informed me that everyone was leaving for the day and to come back the next (I was 40 miles from home, so this wasnt totally workable). At the shop they reluctantly tested the vehicle but then strongly agreed that my car was not safe to drive. Nevertheless, they refused to provide me with a courtesy vehicle. They did (again, reluctantly) offer me shuttle rides each way. They said they would have rented a car from Enterprise or Avis on my behalf had they been open, but by this point (nearly 6 pm) those rental services had closed. Out of COVID caution I declined the shuttle offer (would have been sufficient, given the situation, in more normal times), so my partner drove out to pick me up, and then did the round trip again so we could pick up the vehicle.Honestly, if they had any interest in keeping me as a potential future customer, I think they might have succeeded by offering a refund when I picked up the vehicle after they had successfully flushed and recharged the brake lines and tested the vehicle. I asked half-heartedly and the service adviser was polite but clear this was not something he would offer.While trying to find a way home when the brakes were shot I spoke with a Sales Manager named Eddie Jorge. Eddie was kind and understanding that Darcars had inconvenienced me, and clearly would have given me a courtesy vehicle if there were a car designated for that purpose available. He stated that due to recent issues where drivers had crashed or otherwise damaged their for-sale inventory, he would not loan or rent me a new or used for-sale car.Overall I would say Eddie was cordial and professional, acknowledging the error. The service adviser was very reluctant to admit the possibility of error originally, and did not seem interested in helping me. I will not name him here, but Im sure Darcars recognizes that his dismissive stance and failure take responsibility tarnishes their brand.

STAY AWAY!!! My mother got a car from them Nov. 5th, still yet to receive her registration. It’s been almost 5 months, her temp tag expired 3 months ago. Now she can’t drive the car and keeps getting tickets on it for expired plate. I keep calling them and they keep saying they’ll call me back and never do. Horrible, will never go here again or recommend anyone to go here. HUGE scammers and shady as hell.

I arrived at 7:55am before my appointment at 08:00, the service representative did not let me in the facility, and I asked if the waiting was available he stated the person to turn the lights on did not arrived yet. It was raining like cats and dogs outside. Thats the most unprofessional service I have ever encountered. The service department needs some training on customer service and dealing with customers with different backgrounds. Thats discrimination and Darcars College Park needs to get there act together.

My wife was in the market for a new Nissan Murano and was lucky enough to come across Kevin at DARCARS Nissan of CP. Kevin listened to her requests, worked with his management to establish a fair price, and kept her informed of what was happening each step of the way. When the color of the vehicle became an issue, Kevin went above and beyond to find what she had wanted. He was a pleasure to work with as he was respectful, kind and responded to all questions we had. Not all car salespeople work this way - so my wife was thankful our paths crossed with his! Once at the dealership, its worth noting that COVID precautions were taken with plastic barriers throughout, hand sanitizer on desks and the mask policy enforced. Sam, the manager on duty, and Will, the finance person, were also helpful and easy to work with. Overall this was one of the best car buying experiences we have had!! Dustin and Stephanie were superb! I called Dustin many times and he maintained his same level of awesome customer service. He even helped me do an internet search for my the part I needed for my vehicle. Stephanie was just as amazing! She saved me from having to make an extra trip to the dealer. The first person I spoke with asked that I come to Darcars just to get the code for my paint color. Stephanie suggested that I take a picture of the barcode and send it to her. She was just as pleasant in person as she was on the phone. Service was quick. The price of the new car was the reason for purchasing. The trade in fell well below its true price, disappointment number one, when it was in very good condition and low mileage. The worst problem was we were told that a power of attorney was not necessary and that proved not to be the case. We lost our entire day having driving from out of town we ended up staying there for 6 long hours. In order to actually get the new car and not lose the deal I had to purchase the vehicle with outright cash.

Unprofessional bait and switch... I live 1.5hrs away in Pennsylvania and I called ahead of time to confirm that a specific used car that I wished to look at was on the lot so that I could test drive it. The sales person said yes that specific car was there. I arrive and meet / introduce myself to the sales person I spoke with on the phone. He immediately takes me to the side lot where a vehicle is sitting that is not the vehicle I asked about but a brand new version thats $30k above the price of the vehicle I was asking about. He then remote starts it and walks away without saying anything. I go in and tell him this is not the vehicle I asked about. After a few minutes he comes back with the print out of the vehicle I inquired about from their own website, saying that it is not on the lot. He offered to show me other cars. I said no because if you waste that much of my time and money to begin with, I can only imagine it would only get worse from there.

Sales person was trying to get me to get breaks saying that it was needed.. Then when I said my husband will take care of it. SO I get the paperwork and the break that he said were needed was check green instead of Red so that was kind of confusing to me.

Pretty quick service, went in for an Oil Change and Tire Rotation. They also did the complimentary multi-point inspection and battery test. We were out in an hour, and even within that hour I was kept informed of the status of the service. Would highly recommend DARCARS Nissan.

I just want to give a update. I purchased a 2019 Nissan Armada July 14 2020. I havent got my registration for it . I will have temporary tags on my vehicle for 5 mos. If you are purchasing from out of state beware. Customer service is not good at all. I love the vehicle just frustrated and disappointed after the point of sale.

My boyfriend and I have leased five cars from this dealership... we decided to use their pull ahead program for a new lease. Tony Rolled in the remaining balance for the new loan in exchange for pay off the balance through Nissan motor acceptance. A week later we find out we only paid off half of the balance and is now refusing to pay off the other half. He has now advised us to work it out with Nissan . Will no longer be customers at this dealership.

My first time at the dealership since getting the 2019 Armada however I was there for a rear camera to be programmed. I wasnt aware they dont vacuum or wash the vehicle unless you request it if thats correct. Most dealers wash and vacuum the vehicle if there is some service performed complimentary..based on my experience..maybe this dealership is different..
