I love going into the store and just browsing but today I went into the store and got my pre-order for my PlayStation 4 and the environment was friendly and the retail workers were respectful and complimented my style.

I recently got locked out of an ipad and needed it unlocked, I called the Coldwater Gamestop. However the man who answered informed me they don’t do that because of Apple guidelines, however Audie; the man on the phone, listened to understand the problem and did research seeing who could and if i could still do it on Itunes. I was very impressed with his attempts to help, so kind and wished me best of luck. Grey customer service.

The staff is usually pretty helpful and polite to my husband and I, which is why I credited a third star, but we have had A LOT of problems with getting our Game Informer issues that we PAID FOR. On asking why we hadnt received any for several month, they couldnt figure anything out and of course calling corporate did *nothing*. We made the mistake of once again purchasing another subscription for the physical copy of the magazine, and yet somehow we have still only received a digital copy! If we have to pay extra for the physical copy, WE WANT THE DAMN PHYSICAL COPY

My experience at games top has always been good 95% of the time the staff is very polite and helpful. They usually have a good selection of headsets in stock.

Absolutely the worst place to go, the little kid behind the counter was extremely rude and didnt want to do his job. On top of that they dont have hardly anything in their store which is very dirty I might add. All in all this is hands down the worst business in Coldwater. I would recommend staying as far away from this place as possible. Definitely take the time to drive to Battle Creek. If I could have given a ½ star I would have.

Placed order and payed for Dec 31. Web site gives a delivery Jan 7. Still havent received, customer service says nothing they can do since they assigned a tracking number. Tracking stats wanting on carrier pickup. Its now January 30 still no change.

Its been 5 days Ive emailed your store Ive emailed gamestop corporate im going to say you guys dont care . For being the only franchise in a hours drive that sells video entertainment id think you would take more care in keeping your customers and have understanding that some people are not able to wear a mask .

Honestly a great place to buy pre-owned games for cheaper without having to have them shipped online to you. Gaming rule of law states to never trade in games because I promise you, you will get 75 cents in store credit and a half eaten peanut butter and jelly sandwich with blueberry jelly. As bad as it sounds. I got Doom: Eternal tho :)

Just called this location to ask them about a order I made online on GameStop to see what I can do to correct my problem. The person who answered (drew) said his prompt that he has to when he answers the phone and I talked in a Calm manner and in the middle of telling him my situation the phone hangs up. So me thinking maybe the call dropped no big deal so I call back but all it does is ring and ring. So I hang up and call back once again all it does it ring no answer at all. So this has to be the worst and disrespectful customer service ever i didnt yell or get hateful towards the worker.

Thieves That’s the best way to describe this place if I walked in the store and bought a game yesterday and you say I can’t return the game but yet on your receipt you say you have 30 days to return your game but you should give me $10 in store credit for a game that I paid more than $10 for. GameStop is a joke and their Thieves lost this customer... never again pore Service don’t even deserve one star...

So when you call from Kalamazoo and they say they are going save a 500 Oculus quest for you dont believe it. Because they gave ours away to someone else. I shouldve known not to depend on them. They have re affirmed my opinion. Dont bother giving them your business. Youre just a number to them.

Some items are expensive but we always seem to find some great treasures in their clearance section! Absolutley love the blind bags too. Great, friendly atmosphere and the people that work there are always so friendly and helpful.

I want to like GameStop, I really do. Its supposed to be convenient for console players. Ive had two negative experiences with this store in the past two months. The first one is partly my fault as I tried to return an unopened game that I bought from there, with no receipt and it was not in their database at all and wasnt rung up under my account with another game I had bought that day (which was rung up under the account, so riddle me that.) I havent kept a receipt in years, because I know that dependable places are able to check your card or account to see if it was purchased there. So Im partly to blame there for trusting. This 2nd offense was of buying harvest moon for the switch, I did not get harvest moon. Instead I received Yonder, with a harvest moon case and because again Im too trusting and didnt check the case before leaving the counter, I cant return it and get the game I intended to pay for. GGWP never again.

GameStop is a joke! You might find somewhat decent games or consoles there occasionally, but only because they ripped someone off to sell it to you. You would be better off selling your games and consoles yourself online or even out of your own garage then to sell it to GameStop. They wont give you anywhere close to what your stuff is worth and then will turn around and sell it for 10x what they paid you for it. Dont fall for their scam. Even their Elite members get screwed over. Its surprising this company is even still in business.

Pretty solid sales and prices compared to other locations. Very friendly and professional staff that werent overly pushy and annoying like most GameStops. They had a large selection of games and was well organized and clean. An overall above average GameStop.

Current review: visited this store two weeks ago, purchased three games with zero issues and friendly customer service. The fire Marshall was in doing checks so we waited patiently, all without masks on. Today my family walks in the store(two of us have masks on, one does not), and the man tells us we need to order online because my partner does not have a mask on and that we need to leave immediately. We will not be back and we are taking this farther than a Google reveiw.Original review: Very poor customer service. Waited to check out while the employee sat on the phone for the next 30 minutes. Finally left without buying any games or consoles. Extremely disappointing, never had such a lazy experience.

This place is great because they have more games in there store. Do not go to the one in battle creek because they are grouchy do not take their time and do not have very many games.

If other stores in the area can have walk in shopping how come gamstop cant?

I feel so bad for GameStop, with all their business problems and gaming going into the digital age it seems like there’s no hope. Back in the day going to gamestop was such a treat but now it’s just a knick knack shop with ridiculous prices and low ballin trade in prices. Half of the staff is really nice though so I really wish the best for them.

Staff is polite and well-knowledged on the selection as well as any questions you may have. Would highly recommend to any avid gamer, casual, or someone just looking to buy a gift.

I also agree with what someone also wrote about the battle creek store. The Coldwater store is much cleaner and laid out alot better. Mostly because of space though. But both places do give very good service and employees at both stores are very helpful. But I admit I do not shop there to get videogames. I shop there to purchase funko pop figures. They do get alot of things on clearence as well so I do purchase those nik naks as well. Thank you for your business!

The one bad thing about gamestop is I just got a xbox one x 530 dollars had a problem with the first one toke it back with end 30 days swapped it out for a replacement both new second one like 2 months later shuts off by its self and gamestop never gave me a recete for the replacement so I wanted to go for the pro now I have a 530 dollar console that ms wont even do the one year warranty because I have no receipt this just happen to a friend same problem but at the adren gamestop mine was from the cold water store so at some point we are getting cash not going to get much as gamestop trips people off on things that are at times only a week old it works just turns off on two new xbox one x as my friends have the same problem I have had a pro at one time games look better as far as gta v go is better graphics better at all around vary good I understand how the 30 days work but two replacements in 3 months you think gamestop would help you out when you spend over 500 dollars on something I would think a manager could help or for them to reach out to their corporate a lot them no whats going on maybe they could give you the instore credit for a new xbox or a ps4 at the least ms without a recete cant fix it or their a charge so maybe I will reach back out to them today and see if the would do something like that I will keep going their but they have to fix this for me Im not getting stuck with this to lose my money I put into this so I reached out to gamestop they cant see that I even got a xbox one x from them only the last five things reached out to their corporate number and was not able to get anywhere so but was told I could get 200 in store and 101 in cash this does not match the cold water gamestop price so they a tipping some people of and doing false averting saying you can get this when I asked they said the website must of not update you still have to sell at that price till it updates looked on two different phones both said 220 not 200 not 101 dont sell your games at this gamestop list them online you will get so much more then what they will give you its no wonder when I asked them if a gamestop would be put in the joinsville Mi Walmart they said no due to not having the money and customers I wonder why they dont offer a good trade in price for the xbox one x that should be 250 cash and 300 in store credit you get more people in to the store even if you lose money your getting more customer in so but as it stands Im being ripped off and will never buy a game from and gamestop again when they cant pull up a simple receipt their something wrong they can only see the last five items

Now generally speaking I dont really like gamestop, but some can be really nice. People talk about how they rip you off with game prices, but this is usually not true. It says on the gamestop website trade prices for every game. My problem is that most gamestops upsell you non-stop and will lie or put extra items on your receipt. The one I go to is very nice and doesnt upsell more than any other retail store. So I would say if you have a local store beside game stop go to it and dont trade with them unless you get a good deal. Its not as bad as people make it out to be though.

Game stop is the worlds best game store and is super awesome. If I coyld rate game stop as many stars as I wanted to then I would rate it a million stars. I probably would actually rate it with all of the stars in tje galaxy.
