This last Saturday I had the pleasure of working on my car for the first time at The DIY Garage. For years I have been doing DIY jobs in my driveway on jack stands which have left my back in impossible knots and my patience thinning. For my first big wrenching day of 2021 I decided to do it the right way and booked a two-post work bay at The DIY Garage. Once I arrived, I was greeted by J who shepherded me and my car into the facility and lined us up with the lift. As I unpacked, I took note of all the different amenities available, the tons of tools, pneumatics, working carts, and rolling seats (my back really enjoyed this). I came prepared as I could have been, but it was a very good feeling knowing if I had forgotten something, they had me covered. Similarly, having never operated a lift before I was very relieved to see them carefully and safely take care of it for me. The whole crew was ready to lend a hand at a moment’s notice and were no more than seconds away with the convenient red “help” button they have in each work bay. While I was working at a pace far faster than I typically would be able to if I were on jack stands, I inevitably fell a bit behind schedule and was going to overshoot closing time. Without even a moment’s hesitation J assured me that nobody was leaving until everything on my to do list was done and the car was road worthy. Their willingness to help and insistence that the job be fully completed without rushing was a cornerstone of my experience and a driving factor in why my visit was such a success. Aside from the practical and obvious benefits of working in their fully kitted garage, J’s desire to integrate with the larger car community in the greater New England area cannot go without mention. DIY Garage is the exact kind of business our community needs these days, for way more reasons than I can capture in this review. Do not hesitate to give DIY Garage a shot, you will not be disappointed.

Absolutely exceptional garage, people, and service. We brought both cars down today for oil changes and I got tires rotated and the gotta go detailing package as well. It is a treat for my car to look and smell brand new, not to mention the fact that oil change and tire rotation always makes it feel like the car is driving better too - lol. I cannot recommend this place and these people enough. The service was incredible and the people definitely pass the two beers and a puppy test. All around an incredibly quality experience and WELL worth the very fair pricing.

This place is awesome! Went twice to self-install my downpipes. Had trouble getting them off the first time and Jay gave me a discount because I wasnt able to finish. I went back the next weekend and finished the job. Pricing is extremely fair and Jay and his team are super helpful, cool, and just down-to-earth guys! I really enjoy working on my car so I will definitely be back! I just wish it was closer to me. I am about 90 miles away, but for the service they provide, it is worth the trip!

There is so much to say about DIY Garage. For my first experience I was so welcomed (so sorry I forgot the gentleman’s name that took great care of me ) but when I walked in there was no pressure just true customer care treatment with the rules and service explained to me professionally not like some shops where the attitude is I know it all you know nothing we had a great conversation about cars and I was so relaxed. He set me up on the lift explained where the tools are located and even checked every few minutes to see how we were doing. Bays were so clean and warm did not have to work out in the cold lol.. will definitely be going there more often to work on my cars. Thank You DIY Garage !!!

A great place to DIY. They have every tool you’ll need for most jobs for almost every kind of vehicle. Yes they can get your lowered car onto the lift!! Great rates and very kind people working there! I’ll be coming back soon!

The owner is a cool guy and his mechanics. The young lady that works the front desk was very nice. I would recommend anyone that would want to work on there car wether in experience or with experience go to this auto shop there is so much to learn and fix your car. Trust me everyone that work there will do everything in there power to help you. I paid to be there half of the day. I made a mistake broke my knuckle for my suspension, did you know the owner, front desk lady and the auto technician called over 20 something junk yards to find me a new suspension knuckle. The people that work in this location will not stop until the work on your car is done. Driving from New Jersey to this location was worth every dime. As a customer you won’t regret it. They have all the tools you need and automotive knowledge to get the job done. I forgot it’s a very clean auto shop.

Jay was great and the other mechanic was always around to help if needed! Shop is well put together and clean! Prices are very affordable and fair! I will continue to do business with The DIY Garage!

Great place same day service for my ram 1500 lifted. Oil change took less time then stated and guy was majorly helpful actually made another call to them today for my other vehicle.

Jay is great, super nice and makes sure everything gets done. He runs this place and it shows. The shop is clean and nice, you feel like your prioritized. He knows what he is doing and won’t fail to give you the best service while also saving you money. Highly recommend to anyone who has an issue with their car.

Clean garage. I am glad places like this exist. As a renter I would be stuck going to the mechanics with the DIY shop. The staff are extremely helpful and the prices are reasonable. Shout out to the owner who kept the place open until I finished my brake job. 5/5

No costumers just me, and the owner was great and I got to get my oil change done and do it myself in a nice clean warm shop, thanks again brother

I got to say the customer service at this DIY Garage is fenomenal! They have a great selection of hand tools/specialty/air/electric tools that can be used for any job that you are looking to tackle. I brought my 2015 Audi S4 in for an exhaust upgrade and the owner, Jay, personally helped me out when I got stuck on the job. Jay is very knowlegable and personable and is willing to lend a hand. I highly recommend that you give this DIY Garage a shot if you are into working on your own vehicle. His rates are reasonable and he will let you stay as long as you need to get the job done.

I got called in to work today to check something out and when I arrived, I could hear air rushing from my tire, so I evaluated my options- I could either call AAA and take advantage of their roadside assistance, or I could swing by this new DIY Garage place that opened up right down the road and see if they could help. Long story short, I ended up at DIY Garage and they helped me get my spare tire on in no time.

My car was shaking on the highway and no acceleration past 40mph. I was worried about tyranny issues but they found it was just a simple brake calibur issue.Booking an appointment was easy ! Actually forThe initial diagnostic I was able to just show up!They explained and showed me the cars issue on the jack! They were patient and thorough in explaining the problem and what needs fixing . The diagnostic fee is waived if you agree to repairs.They were flexible and allowing me to buy my own parts. They accomadated me when we needed an extra part during the repair too. The repair time they gave me was accurate , and they kept in touch with updates during the repair. The prices were affordable and they worked with me in putting in other minor things like bulbs and belt replacement work. They were caring and considerate of recomending parts of reliable brands to buy. I appriciated their honesty , quality customer service , & promise to follow up on work completed! As soon as I came in , I felt apar of the family including the gentle dogs. They will continue to get my auto service!
