We stopped here to enjoy the wonderful view around this small top of the world shop ! Didn’t really go into this store ! It is worth a stop anyway !

Great place to get out, grab a sandwich, shop at the store & stretch your legs while enjoying the Bear tooth!! I didnt stay, but $70 for a room seem like a great deal for such a cute, remote place!! The lady behind the counter was also on her A game & treated everyone with a smile!!

Thus shop was amazing! All kinds of souvenirs, shirts, hats, trinkets galore! Awesome young man working on the 17th, very helpful and courteous! Loved it!!

A fairly stocked store in the middle of nowhere. It has nothing special, but we did get two small souvenirs.Quite a few patrons were unmasked and WY has one of the lowest rate of Covid immunization. They seemed to be on their way to the Sturgis bike rally, so no surprise there! Im glad our little one couldnt read.. a few of the patches on their jackets had really uncouth verbiage.

Nice selection but feel the customer service needs some help. The girl there Could be friendlier and not treat people Iike they are an annoyance.

Pretty neat little shop. If you get the chance to drive the Beartooth Highway, do it! The drive is absolutely stunning. They have a little bit of everything here at the shop. The penny press didnt work to well but we still left with a souvenir. Nice little stop for sure on our way to Cooke and SilverGate Montana.

Where to start . Was out on a trip from Chicago to Yellowstone a couple weeks back . Wanted to check out beartooth highway , the construction made it take a little longer than expected . We arrived to this store at approximately 6:05 we our motorcycles gas tank near empty . The store attended was in there cleaning up . Closing hours said 6ish but yet he couldn’t take five minutes to let us gas up and send us on our way . We left with no other option than to keep going and about 5 minutes after taking off we started getting hailed on . We kept on going till red lodge since there was no cover on that road. We arrived to red lodge soaked and with our reserve on for the last 30 miles or so .A little longer and we would’ve been stuck up there in the hail and cold with no gas. I understand we had a responsibility to have emergency gas but that attendant not allowing us to gas up could had killed us .

Stopped here with the Ride Marshals of the Logan to Jackson bicycle race. This market has some thing for everyone to take back home. It is fitting that it is on one of the most beautiful roads in America so stop by grab a snack and a souvenir.

People were friendly and have a sense of humor. I really enjoyed the gift and souvenirs they had to offer. Beautiful place to visit! A must see and do!

Just came off the bearthooth and was freezing a good place to stop.they have one outhouse that wasnt very clean but was in high demand.

My husband and I stay at the motel when ever we get to WY. Love it! Owners are wonderful people and prices in store are not outrageous. Beautiful views as well.

They have snacks, drinks and souvenirs. One hole outhouse is all that is available.

Absolutely beautiful motorcycle ride. Great place to stop but my goodness bring mosquito repellent! They will eat you alive! Husband ended up with about 20 serious bites! Had to get out quick!

The store was cute and clean. We found a few things to buy there. My complaint is the woman that was working there was quite snotty and lacked communication skills. When asked how much an item was she said she didn’t know because she just rings people up. And when asked to open the case with knives in it she gave us attitude. She didn’t seem to like her job too well.

Stopped and camped at Beartooth Lake in 1965 with my family. I was 16, just learned to drive and drive I did ,from Ohio through Iowa, into SD, ND, Montana, into Wyoming. My favorite stop was Shoshone NF. Trout fishing was spectacular and Grandma Gore knew how to prepare and cook them just right for Breakfast.

Lots of interesting but expensive stuff. There arent many stops along this road other than scenic pull-offs, and this was a welcome sight. The restrooms are portapotties and there was a waiting line to use them. Wife said they were somewhat disgusting. (Down the road to the south was another bathroom facility that had wheelchair accessible emblems on the doors. You would have to have an all-terrain wheelchair to get to it and back to the vehicle though. Not associated with top of the world but interesting)

The beartooth lake nearby had fish jumping everywhere, elk across the lake, deer and beautiful sceneries! Dont forget your sticker for the outhouse pipe!

I ordered a hat over the internet and there were some initial problems with the order. The staff at the store did everything possible to correct the problems and I received the order very quickly. The hat is fantastic, far exceeding my expectations. If I could give the staff and their products six stars I definitely would.

The woman running this place was very nice and gave us a room even tho it was closed at the time! And the price of the room was very reasonable! Nice little piece of paradise in the no cell zone.

We were looking at some shirts, and we saw one that looked nice. we took it off the shelf, unfolded it, checked the size, decided against it, and put it back. The cashiers saw us, and decided it was a good idea to talk, at normal volume (which was audible to us, and some others), about us putting a shirt back and not buying it. They were very rude about it. people change their minds all the time. Its not like we messed up an entire shelf, we neatly put the shirt back. A cashier should not talk rudely about a customer audibly during work, especially if the costumer is still in the store. it does not leave a good impression on themselves or the store. Honestly, if you dont need to stop here, I would recommend avoiding this store.

Great little place. The owners are very nice and run a neat operation here. It is a good spot to stock up before a backpacking trip and both Montana and Wyoming fishing liscences are sold here. And the location is incredible, of course.

Small general store and gas station located at pretty high elevation in the Bear Tooth Pass. Staff and owner were very friendly and helpful, and considering we were seriously in the middle of nowhere, the prices were very reasonable. The general store has a bit of everything, with a combination of snacks, groceries, camping supplies, books and touristy items like coffee mugs. If you are ready to brave the pass, this little store is worth the stop.

Very intense drive up, but worth it. Gift store has everything. Unique gifts, great jewelry, lots very cool handmade items, and all price ranges. Very nice place with huge selection!!

We stopped here and were lucky enough to get a room for the night. Rooms are in adjoining 5-room cabin. We had a hot plate, dishes, and coffee maker. We bought a few supplies in the store and cooked dinner. Shower had good pressure and hot water. Glad there was a heater because it was in the 40s overnight. The ladies in the store were really nice. Room was clean, towels were large. Plus a free hot beverage and muffin (huge) for breakfast. No TV or internet/phone...chipmunk and view for entertainment. Would stay here again for sure.

On Top of The World Store ,it is beautiful and just amazing up there the Chipmunks the Eagles the Hawks the waterfalls I loved it also meet some good people from all over the world up on top of the mountain while I was there.

Nice shop,very nice people. I spe. nt 2 nights in 1 of the 4 rooms . It was outstanding. A clear night at that elevation(9800 I believe) was simply breathtaking. Sky was littered with stars. If I ever return to Hwy. 212 ,Id surely like to stay here.

Stopped here on my motorcycle trip from Pocatello Idaho, back home to Toronto Ontario. Great pit stop up in the mountains. The place kinda felt like it was out of a movie.

Great staff, I only place to get gas on the Beartooth Highway, but be warned if you dont have cash youll have to buy $20 worth of stuff to use your card.

Gotta say its pretty horrid that you wouldnt help that woman with her kids. Store is nothing special. In addition rather than apologizing you tried to excuse your behavior. People are supposed to help people, being woken up when someone is in an emergency situation is no consolation.

By Brenda martin.Last night my truck broke down on the Beartooth Pass. I had both of my boys and St Bernard. We spent a cold night in the truck as we had no cell service. When the sun came up I wrote some notes with my husbands number and Ronnings towing. I knew the Top of the World store wasnt too far so I started walking. I got there at 7:30, the store opened at 8, knowing that they owners also lived there I knocked on their door, hoping to get word to Ronnings and Mike Martin as he had been working at the fire station in Billings. Bart, the owner opened the door, I asked if I could please make a phone call and he said No. I asked if there was a wifi password I could use to at least get emails and/or fb messages out. Again, he said no and slammed the door in my face. I then went and stood on the highway until I flagged down 2 different people going both directions , asking them the make the phone calls that I had indicated on my notes. They were great and 3 of the 4 people made the phone calls. Jerry Ronning arrived about 9:45😂😂😂! When we stopped at the Top of The World store I on the way back I saw Bart again and thanked him for not being any help at all, he just kept saying how would you feel being woke up! He was rude and a complete jerk....Food for thought, if you find yourself needing help on the pass, dont ask him!

I will never spend another dime in this store. The owner of this store would not let a women that stranded with her children use his phone to call for a tow truck or her husband. I find this to be so disgusting. People think twice.
