So I recently began collecting again and have been traveling with work collecting throughout the US. I was excited upon returning home to check out some local shops. This place is very cool and the staff has always been friendly. They gained a repeat customer after my first few visits and then lost one on todays purchase. I pulled some new comics for this week, 5 from the 5 for $15 and a number of dollar bin pulls. They questioned where I got some of the comics then went over the pricing, one of the dollar bin prices where more than a dollar as they said one customer put their own stickers on them. She asked if I wanted it at that price and I said no. My purchase was fine, it was my friends purchase that on how they lost a customer. He purchased roughly from the same places. Some new, some 5 for 15 and a number of dollar bin pulls. They rang up 5 for 15 then the new and went down the dollar bin ones. I noticed them talking about 3 of them and then punched in the number. You would think they would tell you they were not priced at a dollar but at $5 a piece. The staff has a responsibility to inform the customer of the price change. I find that bad business practices and it makes for poor customer experiences where they do not want to return. I will take my weekly purchases elsewhere.

I went here for my son who just started to get into Magic The Gathering, but we dont know a lot. He loves his cat themed deck! The two guys there were awesome. Super nice. Just so good to see good customer service! They knew a lot and seemed happy to help. This is a shop everyone should support! I definitely will be back to buy something, anything to give back for just such a great experience. Thanks so much guys.

The owner and associates are excellent. This store has a variety of titles in trade paperbacks. Tons of board games and models. They are with the times. Go here.

I walked into this place with a broken leg after getting into a car crash. When I walked in the people knew exactly what to do. They immediately bought out a stretcher and started operation on my leg. Mid operation they found out that I had a cancer tumor in my leg. Unfortunately, they had to cut off the entire leg but it was worth it. They have it on display in the middle of the store now. Definitely a 10/10 place if you have a life and death situation. They also sell some good comics too ig

John is awesome and just an all around humble, nice guy. Been shopping there for miniatures and tabletop hobby gear for years. Staff is super friendly. No elitist attitudes. My go-to hobby shop, hands-down.

I just stopped in because my daughters wanted to learn magic the gathering which I last played as a kid. The owner was extremely helpful, provided some good advice and some free starter decks/cards to get started. We also picked up a few comics and some booster packs. They have an awesome game selection, tons of tabletop games and a lot of really cool collectible items.Very likely I will return for some holiday shopping and maybe pick up a few classic comics to reread some 20+ years later.Really like the store will definitely be returning, thanks!

I grew up reading comic books, but am older now so I missed out on whats been happening in the comic book world lately.I decided to stop by here just for mere excitement. The first thing I noticed was PokéStop outside, because Im a nerd at heart and love that game.Inside the store I had the chance to meet a wonderful man named John with whom I had the chance to reminisce with about Jim Lee and his work on Stormwatch, which is now with DC. We also had the chance to speak about the Legion show and how its a bit different than the comics. He was very knowledgeable about comics when I asked him some questions.Overall, this store gave me the opportunity to connect with my youth. It has a wide variety of comics to select from, graphic novels along the walls and I decided to get Star Wars and X-Men: Legacy to start backtracking on Legion.

Both a hidden local gem and the best spot to find comics/MTG/RPG supplies in Boca. Have been going to Johns shop off and on since Tempest was released in 97 and theres always something new.

Went there, and bought a Nezuko Figure. it was really detailed and; loved it! there are also my hero academia books, attack on titan, and more series! loved them all i wanna come back soon!.

Docking Bay has been my home shop for almost 10 yrs. Started off by taking my cousin who was new to comics and wanted to learn more about Green Lantern. The owner John took his time to show him a number of great jumping on points and not just to make a sale but to share knowledge and help someone interested in comics. A hobby that can be very intimidating to most. I canceled my subscriptions at the other shop I was buying from and moved everything to Docking Bay the next day. Havent looked back since. Amazing store and amazing people running it.

Books, people, talk, environment, hopes, fears, dreams, all wrapped up in a storefront tossing lights out on to the lonely guys, raucous drunks, inviting women, commuting workers, wistful tourists, and those just wanting to make it through the week.

So, its got a great selection, and they are more expensive than online retailers, but the feature that really breaks it for me is their unforgiving return policy. This isnt a store to shop at, this is where you make an expensive, long-term commitment.

Rude staff, $3 minimum to get more money out of you, no price matching. Avoid this place. They’ll juice your pockets when you can get there same products for half the price elsewhere. Then they say it’s a “recession” and they have to make as much money as possible. That’s a lie. Not a recession going on , and if you want to stay in the business you gotta beat other people’s prices. If they wouldn’t have their minimum credit card policy and if they would price match the manufacturer they would’ve made money today but they didn’t. So they made $0.00 off me today. Won’t be coming back and I will refer others elsewhere.

Good store was briefly in and out but good experience will visit again and they do buy Pokemon and magic cards yu-gi-oh is uncertain, they give 50% tcg market value store credit and 25% cash.

Small but lot of good stuff.

For a small store, this place packs a solid punch at gaming needs. The staff are knowledgeable, helpful and love the hobbies they support. The selection is very good for a store this size. I am not a fan of the parking lot size and a front door that whips close fast enough that you should always hold it wide open, but otherwise, I count my blessings for this place. Recommended.

I parked in the parking lot of this store while my wife was getting her nail done in the neighborhood behind this shop, so I didnt actually go inside.

I have been in to the store a few times for random things. Today was copper paint. The Shop is always clean, the staff is always friendly and helpful. If they sold Gunpla I would be there every payday lol. Bad joke aside it’s a great shop check it out.

The perfect geek heave! My boyfriend and I are regulars here. The Store owner is there most days hes a total sweetheart! The store itself is super inviting with lots of tables and chairs for people to just hang out and play board and card games. Its a great place to make friends as well as pick up awesome merchandise and good prices! :)

I have been coming to this comic book store for more than 15 years! Its a great place to get comics, toys, collectibles and they always have people around playing different card and role playing games. This is the comic book shop place to go in the boca raton area.

I have been a frequent visitor at this store for quite some time. The customer service is impeccable, The selection of table top games to comics is robust, and every night their is always a game meet up and every week this store hosts a social club (mostly about comics). I would recommend giving this store a visit if you are new to Florida and interested in comics/gaming or would like to meet individuals that share your common interests.

Owner and staff are great with kids, parents and all levels of knowledge across gaming, comics, and graphic novels. Love this place and the local feel. There is always a game going on or a group hanging out.

As long as your not toxic, rude, or a douche. This is the LGS you want to be at. People help you learn new games or formats, willing to get you started, and help you with first purchases. Me and my sister found a very cool group of people to play Magic the Gathering with.

Great graphic novel selection and very helpful staff. There is always a large group of table-top gamers every time I go in, which seems to be the main focus of the store. They carry current issues but their back issue selection is small.

A little out of way from the road, this place is awesome. Theyve got a whole bunch of comic books and graphics novels for good prices. The also got figurines, D&D stuff, posters, etc. Definitely worth a visit!

As always I enjoy my time here. The staff is knowledgeable and nice and love just having a conversation with you about whatever youre buying or what is coming out soon. The owner Johnny is the coolest. HIGHLY recommended. Check out comic club every Tuesday night!

Worth the trip. It is a bit out of the way, but well worth the visit. Very freindly and helpful staff. Well stocked shelves and good gaming selection. I will definitely visit them again next time I am in the area and encourage others to as well.

I LOVE this store!!! I am a regular who comes here almost every Saturday to play Pokemon. The staff is nice and is easy to get along with. Great place to play games. The only thing that would make this place even better for me is more Pokemon tournaments.

Im not from this area but I wish I were. My schedule only allowed for me to spend around 10 minutes in the store but it was a fantastic 10 minutes and I left feeling jealous of the local gamers. Really nice staff, very nice selection and extremely fair pricing and trading. I left with the exact card that I was looking for and couldnt have been happier. This was a must see on my trip down to the Miami area and Im glad I made sure to stop in.

First time going to a game and comic shop in a really long time. The staff seemed knowledgeable to everyone that came in, and was able to connect with a lot of them. I did go during free comic book day unbeknown yo be so I might be a bit biased. But I did go there to buy some new dice and they had a fair amount to pick from. As for the collectibles eit was packed well to wall with anything you could want!

We took our 2 and 4 year old boys there tonight. They had a blast. They loved all the super heroes. Friday night probably wasnt the best night to go-it was very crowded with something going on. We will take them back another day when it is less crowded and we can spend time talking to them about everything in the store.

If you like a old school type of comic book store, this is the place for you. This store offers comic books, gaming books, and other collectible card games. It also has tables for people to come and enjoy time at the location. They have snacks, drinks, and other things to enjoy. I consider this my go-to place as they are one if not the only location in the Boca Raton, or Broward county region.

The quintessential nerd store. I love the staff at Docking Bay. I dont get to swing by as often as I used to after moving further south, but I still love stopping in every time I can. Its always a good time.

Great place! They have subscriptions through Comixology where you can pull comics online and pick up in store. They also offer discounts for subscribers.

Overall nice. A bit cramped, but not bad. Good selection of discounted comics, back issues, etc. Seems luge a nice place to hang out, they had DS9 episodes on a loop, could see myself going just to watch.

Everyone there is so nice, helpful and generous. Its so nice to be able to take my daughter there to play Pokemon with other kids who have her interest. Love this place!

Great guy, not over priced.

I went to this store once a few years ago with my boyfriend. While he was picking out some magic the gathering cards, I was browsing through some hardcover comics, only to be scolded that I shouldnt touch the comics by the guy working the counter. These werent soft, one-off comics, these were hard bound books and I was reading the back cover. My boyfriend, apparently, could touch anything he wanted but heaven forbid I get girl cooties on anything in the big boy store. Ive never been back and never will. I tell everyone I know not to go, I go to Tates instead. The staff there is friendly, these guys suck.

Went there to sell about 30-40 cards and had to wait 3+ hours to get my money. I understand that they were running 2 tournaments but I could see that there was unnecessary downtime throughout my wait.
