Quick easy rental. Quality new equipment

Purchased several pieces of used equipment over the last few years from UR! Today, the batteries in a scissor lift failed, I sent a text message and they were all four replaced within an hour and a half. Simply amazing!

Rented a walk behind trencher for running some electrical conduit. Work was on level soft ground. After about 2.5 - 3.0 hours one of the tires came off the hub/wheel and made the lift unusable. Called the Cocoa store and they said theyd send someone out to fix it. About 3 hours later, (after we just went ahead and trenched by hand to get the job done) someone showed up to repair the tire. We then immediately loaded to trailer and got the trencher back same day. I called and asked for a discount since the machine was unusable (Cost me $260.00 for the day) for 1/2 the day. They said no discount because theyd already given me the online rate even though I called. But I called and asked the price and they gave me the online price on the phone, too. Id have done it online if it was going to be cheaper. Im not new to equipment rental. Anyway, after arguing back and forth, I was advised by Bill that they werent going to charge me for the cost of the tire coming off the wheel (are you kidding me) and that theyd take $50.00 off. Im gonna take what I can get, but the lack of service and condescending manner in which they spoke with me, acting as if the tire coming off the wheel was our fault, is just wrong. I WILL NEVER, EVER, NEVER, EVER, EVER RENT EQUIPMENT FROM THEM AGAIN I WILL PUT THIS POOR REVIEW ANYWHERE I CAN POST A REVIEW. United Rentals should be embarrassed!

Their technicians are extremely hard-working and helped us get a piece of Machinery online and got our job task finished on time one of their technicians name Dylan has been especially helpful

I went to united rentals last week to rent a lift. I parked, went in the office. Nobody. Crickets. Waited 5 minuets.... nothing so I left. 2 days ago went back to rent a skid. Saw what I wanted in the yard. Doors locked. Covid. Number on door , called it. Lady in melbourne answered. No help. Im in Cocoa. 4 minutes later after I called number again. No answer. As Im pulling out of lot guy calls me. I tell him Im tired of the bad experience I have had. He tells me that its ok. United rentals is doing great and doesnt need my bussiness. Wish my company was doing so well I could turn down $8000 worth of new bussiness. If you need to rent equipment dont go to united rentals.
