Im extremely Happy!!Im in the process of remodeling my newly purchased forever home in Merritt Island and I hired Overhead Door of America to replace my dilapidated 1978 garage door.The absolute professionalism and customer service I experienced from sales to installation was amazing!! I had one minor post-installation repair necessary, and the owner happily responded to my late Sunday afternoon inquiry and had my problem resolved by 10:00 am the very next day!Where contractor performance in Central Florida is mediocre at best, Overhead Door of America has set the contractor bar of excellence very high. I only wish I had the same great experience with the other flunky contractors Ive met along the way. I highly recommend you give them a call... you wont be disappointed.

Had technician come out on memorial day. No extra charge. Alan was the technician. Great guy, extremely knowledgeable. Our door had come off the track and was sideways. Cable off the pulley on one side. He was able to fix it in a couple of hours and the price was very reasonable. We will use them again and recommend them to everyone else. Could not be happier.

There’s nothing like receiving unpleasant news while away teaching at the local fire college; having your garage door spring snap in half when your family arrived home that evening. “The garage door won’t open!” my wife related. The next morning, I spoke with Terry, who is quite knowledgeable (with over 20 years of experience) by the questions he asked as I explained the current challenge we were in. Terry’s itinerary was already filled for the day and I thought “ Well, I hope I can get this done maybe by Friday😔. I am a super busy dad after 2 pm, so trying to get anyone there before that time, on the same day, is a long shot, but Desperate times call for desperate measures. Terry said that he will do whatever he can to get there before 2pm. I told him that I will be home until that time and if he is available to take a look I would greatly appreciate a call. Well Terry came through and called at 11am and related that he was at my front door. Talk about service; I could not have been happier with the surprise and the outstanding service. He was more knowledgeable in person, talking while he was working. There was no guess work here; he was definitely in his wheel house and wasted no time in addressing the issue. Terry is kind, friendly and a hardworking dad who has a passion for family like I do. I found my garage door company!Thanks again Terry!You made me look like a rockstar today!

Sunday 2/28/21 I had a spring break on my over head garage door. I called Overhead Door of America and was told; $125.00 + $50.00 for Sunday visit + $50.00 for the spring, (replaced both springs), so bill should have been $275.00. When the technician arrived he said $600.00, I said NO and repeated what I was told on the phone. We settled on $375.00 plus another $65.00 for a problem I had not noticed, total $440.00. In my opinion I was over charged by $100.00 and will never use this company again. I would recommend against their use to any one. I gave the manager a whole day to call me before I posted this warning. He never returned my call.

Our garage door came off the track today (broken cable). I put calls in to two different companies and before they could even call me back, ODA happened to drive through the neighborhood and see that we had an issue. They stopped and repaired it *on the spot* for an incredibly reasonable price. Our master tech, Dana Johnson, was friendly , professional, and knowledgeable. So very thankful for a job well done!!

After a Lightening Strike I needed two garage door openers replaced. At the recommendation of a neighbor I called in the morning and reviewed model options and pricing on the phone and the technician installed both units the following morning. Dana was an outstanding professional, fast, efficient and even programmed my two automobiles...couldnt ask for more. He has earned the title Master Technician....Great Job!

The technician (Richard) called ahead of the appointment and pulled into my drive way exactly on time. He was very knowledgeable and gave me a quick class on how garage doors work. My garage door is about 11 years old and finally gave out. I went with a complete overhaul of the moving parts.( springs, cable- pulley assembly, nylon wheels, basically every moving part) Repairs were done quickly. Very good experience. My garage door has never operated so smooth and quiet. I highly recommend this company. Ask for Richard. You will not be disappointed.

Our garage door started to fall off the track, I called them based off their google reviews, the gentleman was very nice and polite and told me he would contact someone out on the field. He called me back within 2 minutes letting me know someone would be there within 2 hours, she arrived in about an hour. She was very knowledgeable and friendly and gave us a great deal. She was in and out and we are very pleased with this company and will use them again.

From past experience with this company I have had phenomenal service every time I have had them working on my garage door! The service is amazing and the techs are very good and speedy at what they do so I didnt have to wait a long time for them to finish or even arrive at my house. I also loved the fact that they are locally owned and operated I was able to call at night (which was after the office hours) and still got a estimate and a answer from a actual tech himself. From shopping around with the other garage door companies they had the lowest cost. The staff is friendly and answered every question I had with patience. I highly recommend them to friends and family. I wouldnt let anyone else work on my home garage door!

Alan called to let me know he was stuck in traffic, he showed as soon as possible. After seeing the damage to my garage door he said it was beyond his repair capability and recommended I try to find a panel at a salvage yard or something. Not needed since Paradise GD company has the door that is applicable to our condo complex.Since I had to pay $65 just for him to show I asked him do to work that was within his capability, he did that well and promptly.I asked Alan if he lubed anything and he said no. I told me he does not carry the lube that should be used this close to the beach. This co. makes its money here so I doubt his reasoning.I paid him $154 for his 1 hour of work and he didnt bother with a thank you and my door is not repaired.I would have given 1 star for his attitude but at least he showed up.Not using this company again nor will I recommend them to our condo association.

Two men came to repair my overhead garage door. They claimed they needed $500.00 for the complete job including rebuilding the garage door opener system and it would be guaranteed for five years. After they left, the garage door would not close. When called back, they came and told me they wanted another $179.00.Horrible attitude. I declined to give them anything more. I will call another contractor to fix the door and take Overhead Doors of America to Court to get my money back plus what I will have to pay the new contractor.

I normally dont do reviews. Their prices are competitive, but this company was great to deal with. Though I had 2 other local bricks-and-mortar companies locally I went with this company even though they are based out of my county.Of all the ones I spoke with, (being a DYI guy, I was changing my door color and custom painting it myself) before I chose them their rep, Tarek, took the most time with a long telephone call with me on how best to do this.I felt if he took this much time on a cold call that wasnt even an estimate yet,, then hed really work with me on my custom paint even though it created a lot more work for him.One of their installers, Todd, was doing this stuff for 30 years so the install was likewise 3 cuts above.Eric Gill

Worst experience ever with a company! We were never told that an inspector was coming to inspect the job, so when we missed the inspection, they charged us $75 more dollars to reschedule the inspector. When I tried to explain to them that we were never told about the inspection, they kept saying it was our fault and they were not going to pay the $75. When I finally talked to the co-owner, Tarek, he would not listen, yelled at me and voided my warranty over the phone, which I am not sure is even legal, but I will check into that matter. There is more, but dont have time to put it all on paper. The techs did do a good job of installing the door, just had a really bad experience with the front office/management. Would never recommend this company! Business 101, never yell at your own customer!

Terrible customer Service. Showed up 2 1/2 hours late. It was a double door and was a 2 person job which I had told them. 1 worker shows up. I was leaving town the next morning and its now mid-afternoon. I ended up having to help lift the door and did most of the holding and positioning of the door. In addition he used my ladder and tools because he came with a dead battery in his drill. Got charged the full labor rate for a double door. Didnt clean up his mess or spray the door with lubricant when done. Charged me $30 additional for a bracket which could be bent back in shape. Home office could care less. They got their money. Interaction not very professional. Will not use again. Look elsewhere.

I hired this company when I lived in the Brevard County area for a rental property that I was living in. They were quick to call me back with an estimate and were able to answer all of my concerns. The technician came at the exact time they told me and I was never over charged or charged for something that we didnt discuss. The prices are reasonable and the quality of service was outstanding. Ive dealt with other garage door business in the past and felt like I could never trust them again until I called Overhead Doors of America. They honestly treated me like family and took such great care of my needs. They are the only ones I refer to my family and friends that still live back home! Honestly, great people and great service!

These guys handled my desperate call appropriately on a saturday morning. They found time within a few hours and immediately send a dispatch worker. They gave me an initial estimate in the morning, and when they arrived. The work was done very professionally, and I was able to trust the worker alone in my garage. After fixing the garage coil door opener, they also did a few extra tweaks to make things even better, like closing up a gap on the bottom and making sure the door didnt open more than it needed to. The price was a little premium for a 2 car garage, but they were true door doctors and handled the complicated matter within an hour. I would recommend them and use them again.

Horrible customer service! Called them for an issue and spoke to the manager, he said no problem, we can take care of that. The tech arrives, take a look and says oh I cant do that, Ill send another guy. We were VERY clear on the problem. Then when we called back to speak to the manager he wouldnt get on the phone and was told yes you will have to call someone else and hung up? What kind of professional business runs that way? DO NOT USE save your self some time.

Hi my name is smiley and we had this company out for our commercial doors at our computer and cell repair shop our roll up doors work much better and smoother than before and we got a free can of lubrication for us to use on the doors.

Great company family atmosphere

We had the Overhead team of Jenn and Alan arrive to our Palm Coast home to fix our Liftmaster system and Clopay garage door because the door would no longer open or shut, plus the garage door sensors never did work since we bought the house.. They reviewed the problems, explained them to us, what they could do to fix it, and a quote of the cost. The work was basically a complete overhaul of the door hardware along with opener repair. They were professional, very nice, and efficient. When the job was completed Jenn went over all the work done and why. They said the doors operation should last another 15-20 years. They were very good to deal with and the garage door is back in operation. Would recommend them to anyone.

Extremely combative and rude office manager when I called to complain about repeated service calls and charges to my elderly mother, who had a garage door installed. I was then passed off to someone else who told me they would look into the issue and I never heard back from them. They took advantage of a person with dementia and instead of fixing the obvious problem, continued to bill her for unnecessary temporary fixes. I would discourage anyone from using this company.
