We were in search of a mid-century modern desk and literally took a trip from our home in central Florida, all the way to Virginia, to visit the countrys largest antique store. We stopped at vintage and antique stores between Virginia and Florida and came home empty handed. We reached out to Rocket City, having shopped in the brick-and-mortar store before, and exchanged messages with photos. We purchased the desk, sight unseen (very outside my comfort zone), with the reassurance they would refurbish it to its former glory. They delivered! Literally! It was a breeze, with frequent communication and photos from them, and the product is exactly as promised.

Very nice store - mid century furniture and decor all refinished -- looking like new! Well organized and neat and clean u like several other stores in the area. Also carries a line of unique mostly womens clothes. We were on a walk and limited time but we will be back to shop!!!!!

Wow what a wonderful store. I would call it a very cool mid century modern store rather than antique. The furniture, accessories of all types are displayed in a very energetically pleasing way and you just want to go in and not leave. They also have cool clothes from the 60s and the whole vibe transports you to a different time and place. But what maybe better than what they sell are the owners Nicole and Billy. They are so accommodating and knowledgeable and they make the whole shopping, browsing experience relaxed and fun. Absolutely no high sales pressure. So go on in. I have visited Rocket City Retro on many occasions and find it to have a treasure trove of amazing mid century modern furniture and accessories. Especially love the fine selection of furniture and interesting, fun lamps. The kitchen accessories are so cool. Everything is displayed nicely in the spacious store. There is a wide selection of appealing items, really love the collection of 1960 space memorabilia. Every time I stop in, there is something new to see and purchase. It is quite evident the owners have deep knowledge and passion for their business and were welcoming, courteous and so helpful. I highly recommend checking out out this store. A great place for those one of a kind Christmas gifts!

We just love Billy and Nicole! They have a eye for beautiful and unique items. Ive seen them in 3 different location. So happy they have found there forever home in their new space. I dont live locally so I love it when they post pictures of their newest finds especially when a piece reminds me of my grandparents. Keep up the great work and cant wait to stop by next time we are in town :)

I have purchased a few furniture pieces from the shop, and I have never been treated with anything but the highest amount of friendliness and courtesy. As well, one of the pieces I bought needed reupholstering, and they helped set me up with an excellent upholsterer and then they delivered the piece to my house in perfect condition.stopped by today to visit Nicole, and I heard about the one star mob that is now attacking her on Google reviews, on behalf of a man who was harassing her in the store today. So I can only say this: its not true, it would never be true what they say. If you want to come see some great stuff, and meet some great people who love what they do, come to rocket city retro. You will not be disappointed!

First, Id like to say Im glad we have a Mid Century store in this area! Especially one that is well stocked with fresh picked goods. Theres always something new when I stop by. When I lived in the North East there were a handful of MCM stores near me and the prices were always astronomical. Ive always found Rocket City to have more than fair prices. Nicole and Billy are great and couldnt be more pleasant to deal with. Im pleased to see how nice they made their new building. I admire the hard work and commitment theyve made to getting where they are today. Definitely worth stopping by if you are in the area. Check their hours first, they may be out on the hunt for new treasures.

I must say that I have nothing but the highest praise for this business! As a long time customer, I have had nothing but great experiences with the owners. The shop looks like something out of an interior design magazine, but with prices that the average person can afford. With Nicole and Billys help, I have been able to furnish my living room to resemble a set from Mad Men! I love it!!

Amazing shopping experience for furniture, home decor and vintage clothing! I bought 2 dresses, 2 pair of pants, 1 skirt, 1 jacket and a pair of shoes for $109 and each item was “One Of A Kind”. The owner was so nice and helpful. I will go here every time in Cocoa Beach.

The most friendly business owners I have ever known. They will do anything for you and are willing to paint, finish, and tweek a piece of furniture at an affordable price. Their knowledge and expertise of vintage pieces are very helpful. Hats off to you for all of your hard work. Such a fun place to shop and right across from Cocoa Village.

This place!! :) The lady is very knowledgeable on all the items and the store is full of albums, clothes, decor, etc. We purchased two albums for $20 each, one album was KISS and the other Lynrd Skynrd.

If there were 6 or 7 stars I would have checked that as a rating. Billy and Nicole have been kind to me and went out of their way both as my being a customer and buyer. Ignore the sour grapes reviews. Rocket City Retro should be on anyones list to shop for mid-century furniture and unusual gifts.

This business doesntdeserve a rating at all. I only gave it a one star rating so that the review would be seen. Very poor business etiquette. These people will yell and scream at you. They use vulgar language and gestures towards you.
