I have been shopping at this store regularly for the past 11 years. During the last year they made a lot of changes and redid the store. The aisles are wider and they carry an even wider variety of items especially in food specific to certain countries. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the store is clean and well-run. Additionally the prices are competitive and if you download the app the savings are wonderful both with coupons and are there savings programs they have. Check it out you will not be sorry.

This food lion is one of the better set up and stocked Food Lions around my city. I mean, if you shop at Food Lion then you already know they are all kind of weirldy set up and rarely have a fresh seafood counter. This one doesnt either but it has more fresh seafood variety than others Ive been to. The staff is really friendly and diverse as most of the F.L.s Ive been in has. As a instacart shopper i am in and out of a lot of groceries stores and the 1 thing that they all have in common is an increase on *New* *fun* *flavors* of so many different freezer items and a NOTICEABLE DECREASE on water, chicken wings, multi pack drinks, whole meats (youll find more of the meats betting cut up and pre marinated to hide meat glue to the random scraps of meat they now call your southwest chicken breast or even steaks. Ive never seen so many pre cut means and veggies in my life. Its because theres a Food shortage. Pay attention, if you are ordering online, ask your shopper what it looks like in the stores they are in. Paper bags will discourage many people from purchasing larger orders like before. They are starting in the city and then stretching to the counties. Just be open minded before you call me crazy. The platforms wont tell you, they will list the products and either leave it to us to say, its out of stock or will have it listed as already sold out... passive moves. Anyways Food Lion but its not my top grocery store.

The seemed clean and since the remodel, much more modern and better organized. The prices made me recall why I dont normally shop here though. The store was well stocked. My only real complaint is the pricing, otherwise, good stuff.I would shop here again, but only for really good deals.

For me Food Lion is best for fresh fruits and vegetables. It has all the grocery one may need. Very convenient and always fresh.

Low stock of common items like eggs and milk between Wednesday-Friday. Stockers are often throughout the store obstructing certain aisles if you go early or mid-day on weekdays.

Having great customer service is something you don’t see often nowadays however here at this location my family met 4 employees who made us now become regulars. Fantasia, Kacy, Dana and Izeik showed the meaning of team work, professionalism, kindness and a huge amount of hospitality. It started raining really hard by the time we were done. The amount of help y’all provided with me having two carts to providing me with a umbrella so my fiancé who’s in a wheelchair ,daughter and I wouldn’t get wet. It truly meant a lot to me. This is what you call a WOW EXPERIENCE.... thanks y’all

The store was very busy and only 2 cashiers. One cashier realized the customer before me had left a bag so he ran out the store to catch the customer in the parking lot.

I shop here all the time because of the prices, but somebody from corporate needs to come in and teach the employees that masks go over your nose.Its hard to feel safe when the people roaming the store - both customers and staff - are breathing all over everyone. I was in here on Saturday, 10/11 and even saw the ASSISTANT MANAGER not following proper mask procedures.Clean it up, Food Lion.

I love this grocery store. Its not that big, but is very well stocked and the prices are very reasonable.

While I generally speaking do like this Food Lion and the majority of the employees are very nice and helpful there is a short, rotund blonde woman (seemed like a manager??? HOW or WHY anyone would promote her is BEYOND me) who is extremely rude and unhelpful. She literally ruined my experience at the store today. What a horrible, awful, and insufferable human. Everyone else was very nice.

I dont normally post negative reviews. Normally being positive is a better. This Food Lion is in a declining shopping center and the whole shopping center needs and upgrade.

Friendly folks , seriously friendly staff. Always helpful and kind. Store is layed out nicely. Prices ? Exceptional prices. Look for meat on sale . You can save some serious bread. Speaking of bread , the bakery department is wonderful. We recommend the apple fritters. Apples ? Yeah the produce section isnt huge but it is fresh and high quality. They offer Western Union as well. Sign up for the Food Lion card and save even more.

Recently begun much needed renovations and is looking much nicer. Way less crowded then walmart. No self checkout kind of stinks (maybe that is coming?)

I stopped on my way home from work, which is on the other side of town. A young lady helped me in the isle since I was not familiar with the store and a young man was waiting to ring me up. I was very impressed with their kindness and willingness to help.

I have to update my review because they started carrying pita chips and pita bread. I really like the late hours and the new remodel. For a small store, they have everything I need when I don’t feel up for a busy drive to Wegman’s.

Great experience! The dairy manager even went I. The back to make sure they had what I was there for and brought out 2 half gallons for me at 7pm at night when they were fairly busy. I sincerely appreciate this considering Food Lions are the only place that sell 8th continent Sou Milk and its the only type my kiddos will drink. They have loves it since they were babies and everywhere sold it and now I travel to get it! Thank you for your wonderful service!

The cashiers were rude they didnt say Hi how are you did you find anything okay I said hi to them and they said nothing they acted like they hated their job. They didnt want to be the there. I bye they acted like i was not there. I rate them 0

Great neighborhood supermarket for quick grab of groceries, veggies, milk butter and meat. Very clean and you can find multiple options to buy here. No live seafood or meat section. Available frozen versions.

As we turned this morning to leave and find another store, the person at the bakery stopped us and looked at the dejected face of a newly 10 year old and said, if you can give me a half hour, I can make them. Its gonna be tight, but we can do it. A half hour later, we had the best two dozen cupcakes of the decade in our hands!! You made his birthday!!

Clean and bright. Prices are reasonable and cheapest steak I can find anywhere in the area. Even cheaper than Sams Club.

The only reason Im giving Food Lion in Cockeysville such a low rating is because I went into the store on Sunday March 1, 2020 to purchase the steaks that were on sale. To my surprise and disgust, some of the steaks had brown spots on them and when I brought it to the attention of the person working in the meat section, they told me that the steaks were okay and thats how they came in. I told her they were not okay and if they came in with brown spots on them, they should be returned and not sold to custnomers. She stated that they would mark the price down and sell the bad meat anyway. In order to stop this total disregard and disrespect of the customers that this country insist on victimizing, we must not buy or patronize stores that do not take our Health and Welfare serious. Otherwise the majority of the employees who work here do care and have been extremely accommodating and helpful. Hopefully customer service will take care of this one issue.

Im glad this is close. With the current situation, their shelves arent as stocked as before and I enjoy the small town feel of it.

I came to this store to get rolls and lunch meat. That night I made sandwiches for dinner. The next day I woke up beyond sick!!!! My fiance looked and the rolls had mold on them, but the date was supposed to be good for another 4 days. So once I felt better I took my receipt and the rolls back to Food Lion. Not only was the girl that works customer service there VERY ignorant, but on top of that the Manager came over and said he would get new lunch meat and rolls....he put everything in a bag and apologized...I for some reason thought to look in the bag at the rolls, which had a date of a week away, WITH MOLD ALL OVER THEM!!!!! I honestly couldnt believe it, lets just say that I WILL NOT EVER be going back to Food Lion!
