Something about our situation, two people smoking outside, seeing us pull up as a family, I walk in alone. The associates put out their cigarettes when I walked up and moved to the door. When walking in, the associate identifies themself and then proceeds to say that we should wait for my wife (who asked me to go in alone). My wife stayed in with my boys at our vehicle and was going to come in should something jump out at me and I would go tend to our son’s. The associate clearly upset my wife was not there at the same time as me, asked me again if we should all be there. Mind you- this was only within the first 60 seconds of interaction, quite irritating, especially in this day and age. I responded no and they reluctantlyThis happened in May 23, as the store reopened, Memorial Day was in view and things were still a bit “Covid fragile.” The store seems to be very nice, well laid out, and clean. We will certainly not be going back to a place exuding judgement as this. Sadly- disappointed.

We bought a table here 2 1/2 years ago for $6,000. We bought it because of the reputation of the company and we absolutely loved it. About a year in we started noticing the finish chipping. The warranty only covers one repair from one incident for the lifetime of the furniture. Customer care was no help. We now have a table that looks like it has been attacked by shrapnel and we haven’t even paid it off yet. Bassett charges designer furniture prices, but it does not stand behind the product. I will never shop here again.

We went there and as soon as we walk through the door we were treated like kings and queens. We got to look around at the Fine Furniture and the saleswoman was very very nice and extremely helpful to. Its a nice place to shop if youre looking for good sturdy furniture

Excited about the new location in northern Baltimore County. Worked with design consultant Angie Mayo, who brings fresh ideas and enthusiasm to help the consumer with the furniture design process.

I truly enjoyed the experience of shopping at Bassett; the designer was so patient and helpful, even staying after store hours to help my complete my sectional purchase. Just over a year later (as in, just after the warranty expired), the fabric on it began to pill terribly, and it now looks much older than a sofa I purchased elsewhere over 20 years ago! And I even paid more for an upgraded fabric. I emailed customer service of the headquarters, and they responded by asking me only which store I purchased my sectional from. There was otherwise no word from Bassett. I plan to hire someone to make slipcovers so that I can extend our use of it. Its too bad that I cannot recommend Bassett, and I am very disappointed that I cannot furnish other rooms of my home with their beautiful pieces after this experience. The quality just doesnt match the price.

Came in and wasn’t planning on buying anything that day, but Curtis was very helpful/patient and we found something we really liked. I just hope the couch we got lasts as long as they tell you it will!
