We had the alternator changed. One of the bolts was stripped by a friend trying to fix it. Meineke was prompt, extremely friendly and professional. The alternator was switched Monday morning after we had dropped the car and keys off the evening before. I am relieved to find a service I trust. I highly recommend them.

I called on Tuesday to repair my brakes. They called me Friday refusing to work on my car. I drove to the shop to get my keys so I could wait for a tow truck, although they new I was coming, instead of staying open until 6, which is their store hours, they closed were closed at 5:30, without giving me a call.I will not go back and not recommending them to others for service. Extremely disappointed.

First time I took my car to Meineke for an oil change. Very nice staff and they had it done in 30 minutes. Just wish they had told me I didnt really need it. Was not aware synthetic oil can go a lot longer.

The staff at this Meineke are as down to earth and knowledge as they are polite and friendly. Not only do they have the best pricing I have found in the area, but they do not ever try to upsell unnecessary parts or labor. In fact they have shown me options that would save me money. It is a complete opposite experience from other places I have dealt with. I would highly recommend this Meineke.

I have my oil changes done here when I dont have the time to do it myself. Ive had major work done here this year alone on my 200 and I always leave satisfied. Jun and his parnter always work with me as much as possible when it comes to prices and their just overall great people. Honesty comes a long way and theyre about that. If repairs are discovered and it can wait they will not force it on you unlike others. Ive been on board for a while now so I wont be going anywhere.

The shop and employees was clean very professional and took the time to show me the bad issues and parts. They respected my decision on what I wanted done. And after Time of consideration I chose to go with their recommendation instead of trying to do it on the cheap. The recommendation was for safety reasons and totally the smart way to go. This shop is awesome! My check engine light popped up. I brought my suv here the next day. They diagnosed it within a hour, called me told me what was going on and was able to do the work within another hour hour in a half. All this while I was at work. I didnt need to leave my car here for days to get fix. Phenomenal customer service skills and work ethics. I will definitely be a returning customer.

I came in at 11:30 and they said they wouldn’t look at my car until 2. There was a cancellation so my car ended up being fixed at 2! They provided quick service at a reasonable price!

I bought an explorer in 2018 with the common problem exhaust manifold leaks. Meineke did a great job and the rates were extremely reasonable, even charging a standard rate for drilling out several broken bolts.Fast forward to today, the car developed a slight exhaust leak and I took it in for that and some other work. Again, they were upfront and honest, had very reasonable rates and even fixed the leak under warranty.I have done many repair jobs myself and I have used many shops in my life, and I would highly recommend Meineke in Cockeysville.

Ive had nothing but good experiences here. When I first moved to the area I was looking for a good shop and read the reviews and gave them a try. One of my first trips I had my car towed there because I couldnt get it to start after trying for a while. The next morning they called me and said they went to look at it and it fired right up and nothing looked wrong. They didnt charge me a cent. They could have easily made something up and I would have been none the wiser. Another similar experience I had just the other day, I had picked up my wifes car after having some work done on it. The next morning my wife calls me and says the car is making horrible noises. She took it over to them, and they took it right in and put it on the lift. Turned out the plastic wheel well liner had come loose and was scraping the tire. Not sure if it happened when they were working on it the previous day or not, but they fixed it up immediately and didnt charge. Ive never had them try to sell me a service that seems like it is just an upsell that is not needed. Jun and his team will take good care of you, and wont try to sell you a bill of goods.

I had problems with my car for long time; the mechanic where I used to go kept changing a lot of pieces but my car had the same symptoms even worst. At one point it become very expensive and I got very discouraged. My daughter recommended me this auto service and finally, they gave me the right diagnostic and fixed my car. I am a mechanic by trade, so rarely take my vehicles for service, but needed work done that required a pipe bender which I do not have access to. The repair needed done was no problem for a good exhaust guy, but I was having a terrible time finding someone to do it. I had to meet a friend off York road and had time to kill, so I stopped into a random exhaust shop to ask about the work. Jun was at the front counter. I asked him about doing the job and he came right outside to look and told me making the repair would be no problem. We went inside and I scheduled an appointment. The morning of the appointment, I was having some problems and not able to make it on time. I called the shop and got no answer. I called many times over the day with no answer. Finally at about 1:30 I got through and asked if I could still come in. The man that answered did not identify himself, or I forgot that he did, but he told me I could still come. I live well over an hour away from the shop, so I left quickly. When I got there I found the parking lot jammed full of vehicles and people in the waiting room. Jun was at the counter and asked why I was so late and that he probably couldnt help me today. I explained that I had been calling without answer. He explained to me that the phones were not working most of the day and just came online again. I told him I had called and was told to come in. Apparently, the man I talked to thought I wanted to drop my truck off. Jun moved his whole schedule around and I was fixed, paid and driving away within an hour and a half! Being in the business, I know full well that I was the pain in the neck customer of the day and those guys still took awesome care of me. The initials of the tech that did the work are DEJ. He did a very professional job repairing the flange on my Y-Pipe. While I was in the waiting room I was watching and listening to Jun conduct business. Someone who is in-the-know such as myself can recognize skill or deficiency in our peers with ease. Jun is a very knowledgeable mechanic and conducts extremely honest business. I would not hesitate to take anything to him whether it be exhaust work, or a complicated engine management system problem. Trust that these guys will take care of you!

I dont normally do social media but BIG SHOUT OUT TO JUN AND HIS CREW !!!! They put new flex pipes on my 05 toureg V8 1 week ago so I waited to see how it would run after and I must say good job! !! She runs so smooth and sounds good now.... Plus they saved me a ton of money $$$$$$ I would definitely recommend this place , nice clean job reasonable price and jun kept it 100 !!!

Took my car in here for an oil change. The next time I got my oil changed (at a different place) I was told the plug to the oil pan had been tightened way too much and the plug was ruined. Looking at $400-500 in repairs to fix the problem. I’m never going here again.

Got spark plugs replaced, and some either minor work. 2 months later, I was driving in Virginia and my truck started running rough. Took it to the closest shop, as I was unfamiliar with the area. Turns out, whoever did the work at Meineke forced the spark plug in and broke off a metal piece that was rattling around in the cylinder. Was charged $700 for the original work done at Meineke, and $300 to fix their messed up work. Spoke to the owner at this Meineke to try and get reimbursed for some of the services rendered, as the spark plugs have a 180 day warranty. Turns out, Meineke will not reimburse for work done at another auto shop. Will definitely avoid taking my truck here in the future because of the defective worksmanship. Saw the rave reviews, so pretty disappointed that this happened here.

Took my car to install an exhaust. They were quick. The exhaust was touching the fascia. Took it back. They said they cannot do anything about it. It is the exhaust problem. Took the car today to precision tune. It turned out that the exhaust was not installed right and the tubes were not pushed all the way in so it was leaking and caused to touch the fascia.

Meineke personnel were courteous and professional and completed my oil change in 30 min or lessI will definitely be returning for other automotive work.

Stopped for a quick check on my exhaust system.

Came on promo from tmobile. Made appointment. When I came asked for rotation too but want accommodated. Couldnt accommodate my promo either but no one called to tell me so I opted to spend more money to just get it done. Clerk unimpressed. Lacking in cx. No effort to establish relationship with me.

Took my car in once to have the exhaust checked out after I heard a crack and then my car sounded deafening. Jun greeted me promptly and took my car in, gave me a quote and confirmed with me before starting the work. I was so pleased by this experience that I took my car in there soon again after hearing a scraping noise on my right front wheel. The mechanics took my car for a test drive and called me to tell me it was some type of sheild causing the scraping and they banged it back into shape (free of charge!). I was told that I will need new tires, since there is uneven wear and they are almost bald, and they can give me a quote. There was no pressure to buy then or the Jiffy Lube Way where they try and rope you into all these other fixes/charges. I cannot praise these guys enough! I shopped around for quotes and they are the best deal out there. I plan on taking my car back for wheels and an alignment soon. I will definately be a customer of theirs for life!

Despite all the good reviews I read on this location, my experience wasnt so hot. Around the middle of Sept 2017 the company ran a 45th Anniversary special, with ALL oil change packages being 45% off. Unfortunately, an incredibly FEW locations were honoring this! After calling a few locations, I found THIS one to be the ONLY one in my area offering that special! My assumption is these locations are franchised, and the franchisee can honor corporate specials-or NOT. Dont know if this location is a franchise, but has all the makings of one.Anyway...made my reservation, showed up, and requested the basic oil change package. The gentleman there told me the special DOESNT apply to the basic change, only the higher-priced ones, despite the ad I showed him saying ALL oil changes! Not quite sure if this comes under false advertising, bait-and-switch, or a little of both. Even still-this location charges $29.95 for the BASIC change, while other locations-and their late-night TV ads-ALL said $19.95 (before the aforementioned 45% off promotion)! Then the gentleman spoke of some kind of coupon that hes out of, or something like that. Hey-Ive been a store manager before, and this aint the way to run a business! Then again, I only managed corporate stores with no franchisee to decline any corporate specials-or set his/her own prices. If I didnt obey corporate, Id have been OUT!Not sure if Meineke Corporate sets standards for their franchisees, but it seems like they have to tighten the reins a bit; not just for this location but others as well. There is a Meineke closer to me that doesnt honor the 45th Anniversary special, but at least they stick with the otherwise-advertised $19.95. If they cant get me in, or if they raised their price, Im off to Jiffy Lube.ALL oil change packages?? HUH!! Hey, Meineke! Whats up! Wake up!! In this day of the internet and Google Maps, you dont wanna screw up! Someone might tell the world! Not just you, but ALL businesses cant afford screw ups with this internet thing! Lets get it together!In closing...if something sounds TOO good to be true...it probably is.

I had some vibration in my brake pedal when braking and took it to Meineke after looking at their reviews and their competitors (Mr. Tire). Do the same and you can see why I went here first. Dealt with Dean in the front office and a quiet, tattooed mechanic with red beard whos name I wish I had gotten. The mechanic pulled it in and took the wheels off for us both to look at it. He and I concluded I just needed to have my rear rotors replaced and that the front rotors and all the pads looked fine. What could have been an easy attempt at an upsell to another customer turned out costing me less than $200. They dealt with me honestly, even to the point of not charging me for the labor because they didnt quote me originally with it included. Needless to say, they have my loyalty for all my automotive needs in Baltimore.
