I drove 3 times from 45 min away and all they said to me before they even said good afternoon or how are you doing ,instead it was go outside and wait and there was no one put other people would arrive and would stay inside , keep in mind no one was in line only one person inside….i think september’s gun show should use a different gun store for there transfers.“halfcocked”will charge you $75 fee to send whatever you may be trying to tranfer to your local gun store.. “still waiting for my transfer “2weeks

It does get crowded at times but overall I had a great experience with my purchase and my questions were answered by the knowledgeable staff. Will keep using this place and I will recomend to others.

I showed up 10 minutes before closing and there were people already inside so I waited outside and a min past closing time and the lady that was waiting as well told me the guy said he isnt taking anyone I said I was waiting for 10 minutes and still Said no, ill definitely go to another place next time, disrespectful old man, then if its closing time then kick everyone out

Ive been in a couple times for obscure parts that they couldnt help me with directly but on both occasions the people there without hesitation pointed me in the direction I needed to go to resolve my issue. They werent making a penny off me but took a moment to let me know what calls I needed to make to take care of my issue. Feels like Clovis, great staff. Next time I splurge itll be with these guys.

Was wanting a hand gun, went here and was put on a waiting list and never called. I have bought 2 handguns since I was put on the list with them. No courtesy call at all. While I was there I needed some .45 acp ammo and got gouged $130.00 for 100 fmj rounds, just bought 50 rnds for $19.99. Was wanting to find a good small local business to call home and spend my money with them. Not the case here

I am a very Anxious person and get very nervous at times so even though i been a gun owner for a few years now i still get nervous of being in a shop but when i went to halfcocked i never felt that way the shop owner was very kind and very helpful not to mention very lively there was also 2 other older men there who seem to be regulars and are very talkative i never met such a very friendly group of people especially the shop owner who always answered my questions and having fun this made me wanna go to there shop more as i am very comfortable there i never get anxiety i hope everyone else gets the same experience i did cuz halfcock is #1 in my books.

I have bought 2 firearms there. Friendly shop, owner is very knowledgeable. You need to check in frequently, as they get in stock, and it sells. Keep a pretty good supply of ammo, as well. The opposite of a big, macho gun store. You won’t be sorry if you go.

Awesome place! Bit of a line due to high demand, but was eventually able to get in to get some .45 ammo and 1911 mags. The owner and employee there were really swell gentleman. Its a 20 minute drive from my house but it is more than worth it after being treated like an old friend on my first visit.

Always have a good experience when i’m there. Great men, always greet you and happy to serve you. I usually come here to get ammo as everywhere is always out.

Stop by yesterday, great inventory for being a small shop. Has a little of everything you might need for your handguns and rifles. And if they dont have it, they can get it for you. Bill, the owner, was knowledge and friendly. Felt very welcome in the little time I was there. Will definitely be coming back and buying guns from him.

His attention to customers questions and needs is unsurpassed, when it comes to making sure that they are well informed of all aspects concerning the gun they are purchasing. The new owner Bill and his Machinist David are top-notch people to work with! They both met me at the shop early as I had a sorta complicated barrel chop/thread with timing of muzzle device that was too hard to describe over the phone or email. Price was reasonable if not better than anywhere I checked around the country. Best part- job was done in ONE day AND local!!! Thanks again to Bill and David!

Rude employees and bad service. waited in line 30 minutes to buy ammo, only to see a buddy jump past us in line to do a private party transfer. Then, an employee told an off color joke. Wont be back

Was looking for .308 wim ammo. Went into this cool looking western gun store. Inside was not so cool, it was humid, 8 older retired white guys standing around. The racist stuff they where talking about made me uncomfortable. I couldnt believe what I walked into. Like a time machine back to the 60s. After 20 min of not being acknowledged I left.Also would like to point out, it might not have been the owners that were racists, but the older white THUGS that they let hang out from there wives all day.

Great service, Bill and staff very knowledgeable, brought in a Ruger Blackhawk in with base pin issues, left it with them for as long as they needed to make repairs, 30 min later I received a call telling me it was finished. Cost of repairs was very reasonable. Would recommend them to everyone. Thank you Bill and staff.

The place is great, a throwback to a bygone era. Their stock is limited as a gun dealer, but they will order anything you may want. As a gunsmith, they are great. Put a set of trijicon night sights on my EDC. Work was same day, and they only charged half of the quoted price. Will be going back for a 1911 trigger job shortly.

Needed a special piece for a gun of mine that other places didnt even know what it was called and they ordered the part I needed with excellent speed.

Great gunsmith but charged us $35 for screwing a front sight of a glock but pretty good all round gun shopping

Took him 2 months to get the part for my shotgun...showed up to get it when it was done and they were already closed during open business hours...the price was affordable though

Its a small business worth your while for sure.
