I cant say enough about the team service (Colton & etc) and Sales person, Bill Brown who assisted our every need. We had problems at many other stores and got connected with Bill otherwise we probably wouldnt have gotten a hot tub. I definitely needed extra help managing and working with the hot tub and he was very patient and helpful even after the tub got installed. We enclosed our deck to use as the Hot tub room which was a tight fit. We had no issues getting the tub into the room with the guys help. It turned out beautiful, we are so happy.I give this team at this store a 5 star and I would highly recommended anyone to give them your business. You will not be disappointed. Thanks guys, you made our experience top notch.

As stated in previous post, was promised someone from hot springs would contact me. As I suspected, it was just lip service. I did have the option to call the general manager on an out of state phone number.As Ive posted earlier. Buyer beware. Once your invoice is paid, your just paper filed away to these guys.

I purchased an Envoy tub and Covana cover in January and received around April. Les was great to work with during the purchase. The install guys were great as well.Fast fwd to August 1st, I agree to sell my house and take my tub with me. I call hot springs and ask for help in moving the tub and they tell me service needs to get in touch with me. After 2.5 weeks the answer I receive from their service department was, we would have to be scheduled in your area with a new install and have enough time after to move your tub and cover.. On top of that they also said, we are so busy, we are basically trying to stay within 60 miles of des moines.. I explained to him that I was 80 miles and just need it moved in roughly 6 weeks from my initial call and 3.5 weeks from now. Service basically told me it wasnt happening.I called a local pool company to help move the tub and cover and they gladly did it. I had to leave the panel box behind because it was mounted to the house. I called hot springs service and asked if I could buy another panel box? The quick answer I received was, sorry, they are hard to find, we are not selling them.. I explained to the guy my experience over the last 6 weeks with hot springs not wanting to come and move my tub and now not wanting to sell me a panel box, then asked him if this is typical treatment of someone that spends $28k with your store within that calendar year? I received this statement, dont know what to tell you bud.Buyer beware! What started as a 5 star experience in January thru April turned to 1 star after the money was paid!

Five starts for the set up team! Dallas and team did a fantastic and efficient job setting up our new hot tub and removing the old one! Five stars for the sales team! There is no better sales person, than Travis!!!! So patient with all my questions and knowledgeable. No funny stuff/high pressure with the numbers/$s like we experienced with some other places we shopped. When our old, 1999, inherited Hot Springs Spa was finally done, it was a no brainer to consider Hot Springs given how they supported us with an old Sovereign we inherited five or so years ago. Even so, we did our homework and visited all the major brands to be sure. Hot Springs of Des Moines, is hands down the BEST!!!!!

Randy Lovell has gone WAY above and beyond to help us get our hot tub up and running. He stepped up to help us and offered his assistance when it in no way benefitted him.He took time out of his schedule to both personally DRAW us diagrams to help us get it set, and he has extended so much help in us getting it wired correctly when we learned that we were too far away to have HotSprings people do it (AND our electrician had done it wrong)I only wish there were quality people like him working at every establishment. We had an awesome experience in the show room with our salesman, Randy. Our hot tub knowledge was nonexistent, and Randy took the time to show us the difference in make, models, size, systems, etc. We wanted some time to make our decision and Randy kept in touch to answer any questions we had. We decided on a tub, Randy got us in touch with an electrician and he was always upfront about the delay in delivery from the beginning, so we knew it was going to be a few months before getting our tub. Once it arrived, the delivery staff and electrician worked seamlessly together and provided a thorough explanation of hot tub care. Randy also followed up with some basic instructions and hes been helpful with our ongoing questions. We love our tub, use it daily!

The install crew (Caden, James, and Dallas) were awesome. Our install is a sunken unit, and I thought it would be difficult. He listened to what we were looking for and provided options and did not try to upsell. Colton was also very knowledgeable and provided great support! When COVID hit, our Caribbean Vacation Cruise was canceled. Our family was bummed out, so we decided to invest our money into something that would last longer than a weeklong cruise. Bill Brown at Hot Spring Spas of Des Moines helped us make a wonderful investment. He guided us in converting our own backyard into a COVID-staycation that will keep us entertained way longer than a cruise! Bill did a great job directing our selection of a hot tub that would accommodate our family and friends perfectly. He also helped us find colors that would blend beautifully with our home. Additionally, the setup team was very personable, patient, and answered all of our maintenance questions with easy-to-follow steps. We find ourselves using our hot tub at least four days a week. I met with Bill Brown at the Des Moines location in the middle of the pandemic. Bill was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions, including giving me answers to questions I didn’t know to ask. With his help, I decided to purchase a Rhythm within a couple of days.Delivery went off without a hitch- we used Robison Electric in Ankeny and the two companies worked together seamlessly. We have had the Rhythm for about a month, and have been using it daily even during the summer heat. The whole family wants in and are enjoying it immensely.Bill Brown was great before, during and after the sale. I had one minor issue (no one’s fault- just a misunderstanding) and Bill went out of his way to make sure it was resolved for me. Couldn’t recommend Bill and the spa more highly.

But the dealer lacks customer service and I will never shop Sundance or Jacuzzi in Des Moines again. In 1994 searching out the Top of Line HotTubs available, my wife and I decided there was not comparison to the Hot springs Spa Brand and working with (Back then) Chuck, purchased the Hi-Life model. We had it rebuilt once early on in 2000, and other than a new cover, was working in top shape as we speak. Visited with Les Davis about a new cover and he asked, should he have it shipped to the house. I said first, lets see whats available today from Hot springs. Ive known Les over the years and discussions were always polite, professional, and never Hard Sell.Les showed Janice and I the available tubs and after a short discussion made a decision to forgo the top and redo everything. As so many have stated, Les is totally professional, personable, and his integrity is above question. A true gentlemen. Purchased on Monday last and installed on yesterday (Thursday) by the Exceptional Service Dept. removing our old tub, all within 2 hours. Never a question with anyone in the organization I have know for 24 years. When looking for new products, I am always reminded of researching parent operations. Those of you who, in my time, back in the mid 1900s that remember the Watkins Man and knowing that Hot Springs Spas is part of that Watkins organization today, eliminates most, if not all, questions about QUALITY , andassures one that there is no other choice. From our initial walking into the showroom through delivery and setup of our tub, Ive been very impressed with the experience. Les was our salesman and very helpful in answering all of our questions, following up to make sure we were satisfied with our spa, and making sure our expectations were met. Weve had the spa (Hotspot Tempo) for a few weeks and have been using it several times a week even in the midst of the Iowa summer. We cant wait for years of continued use and enjoyment. We never felt pressured to get something we didnt want and all of our questions were answered. When it came the installers (Sisco, Dallas, and T) were very friendly and respectful to our property. They walked us through how to use it without making us feel like they were in a hurry or didnt care.

Sisco, Dallas and T took care of us in a professional and courtesy manner during the hot tub install. We had a little miscommunication on the exact location and they immediately addressed it and let me know they can come back within the year and have the tub moved at no cost if we arent 100% satisfied. Great looking tub and we are thrilled we went with these guys.

After a long wait we finally got our new hot tub delivered and installed. Dallas, Sisco, and T did a great job moving and informing us of how to do maintenance; meanwhile Randy, our salesman, worked through the problems with production and continued to reassure us on a prompt delivery from the factory. Cant wait for it to get up to the right temperature so we can enjoy it!!!

Swim spa we purchase arrived a bit later than we anticipated, but due to Covid believe/hope this was beyond the control of folks here at Hot Springs Spa Des Moines. When it came time for delivery Sisco, Dallas, & T did a great job placing it where we needed it to be. Thanks for a great experience. When we bought our Hot Springs Spa, we loved it! We’ve had it for a little over a year and it had a small leak and is still under warranty. I was told it had to go in for repairs and there were 3 hot tubs to be repaired ahead of me. It’s been 3 weeks since then and nothing. I called the service desk again and was told they cannot give me a pickup date - and when I asked about the three ahead of me I was told they aren’t repaired yet and when I tried to pin them to a date I’m told, “ it’s a process” and they don’t have any idea when they will pick up the tub (much less how long it will take to get it back). I know I can still use it, but that’s not the issue - I want it repaired and back in it’s place before the winter comes because we have a steep back yard and I’m not willing to risk it being dropped. This is not the customer service I expected when we purchased the hot tub from Hot Springs. Really Disappointed.

Dallas, T, and Sisco delivered and set up our new spa last week after spending an afternoon (really!) at the store with Les Davis to learn about hot tubs/spas. Everything is as promised and we couldnt be happier with our spa! Les provided great information and his patience let us look at multiple models resulting in a great choice for us. Dallas, T, and Sisco arrived as promised, quickly got the spa set up, providing some hands on tutoring, and really made sure we were ready to go. The time they spent making sure the spa was where we wanted it was very much appreciated. The entire experience has been top-notch. Not just five stars but allstars!

Ryan from HSS finally got me sold on buying a hot tub. Delivery was right on time and delivery personnel were very helpful in instructing me on startup of the spa . After electrician got my spa all hooked up Ryan ( from sales) was spot on in guiding me through the initial startup of the spa! Just waiting for water to heat up so I can see what kind of pain relief I’ll get from the Pulse hot springs spa!( suffer from spinal stenosis ) To be continued! Todd Sharp

We purchased a new Jetsetter to replace our 1997 Jetsetter. They came today to install the new Jetsetter and it looks great. The two guys took their time to explain and install the new tub. Very pleased with the way the new tub looks. We hope we get another 20 years out of our new Jetsetter.

We found the sales staff to helpful and friendly. It was easy to come try out the different hot tubs in their showroom. Financing was easy. Installation was on time and efficient! Hot Spring staff have patiently answered questions sent someone out to fix some nozzles and then go over the care of the hot tub. Love, love , love my Flair!

We got our hot tub winterized by them and are very dissatisfied with the service. We called and were told they could adjust the price since we drained the tub ourselves. A guy shows up with no call in advance. Spends 35 minutes vacuuming out water, no cleaning or checking things - I think, since he just left without even talking to us or telling us what he did. No antifreeze, instructions or follow up. Just a $256 charge to our credit card and a decision that they were going to stick with their set price when questioned about the charge. Go for service somewhere else.
