We walked in to By Design with a set of plans for our new house and some pictures of furniture we liked. What Laura and Bonita did to furnish our empty space was amazing. Great room, office, bedroom, family room. They created a full plan, we made one or two very minor adjustments, and now we are living in our dream house with furnishings and rugs that perfectly complement the modern vibe. Jessica at BY DESIGN was fantastic to work with! We are building a new house and were completely overwhelmed attempting to pick furnishings. Laura has a special ability to key in on preferences quickly in person and via email. We “spoke” through email, sharing photos to narrow down my choices. This approach, during this current environment, did not hamper our conversation. Upon my decision, we met privately at the store to ensure I was happy with my choice. We built a new home and moved in December 2019 with only a recliner chair for our living room (which we bought from By Design 3 years earlier). Knowing we wanted to get furniture to complement our chair and of the same quality craftsmanship, we returned to By Design. She even picked up samples at my home to save me a trip to the store. Now that is customer service that you won’t find most places in the metro area! But, Sherri was so helpful with showing us the same manufacturer on their showroom. We were able to sit and feel the comfort, and leather quality. I have been a customer of By Design for many years. Room by room they have worked with my husband and I to design pleasing, comfortable, affordable, great looking spaces.. They have wonderful service. I love to go in the store and walk all around it slowly and see what I like and then meet with a designer. The store always looks amazing and is set up as rooms so it is easy to picture the end result. There are many, many fabrics to choose from and they assist me in narrowing them down to my favorites. I have difficulty making a decision and they work with me with great patience and guide me along the process. Another great thing about purchasing at By Design, is that the room has a finished look. They will help you make the entire room look great including pictures and accessories. Before I used By Design, I would have a piece I liked but the room never had the look I wanted. I have received many compliments from my friends when they visit my home. My most recent purchase was a twin sofa sleeper. I am looking forward to its arrival in a few weeks! My home is a 1920s Craftsman, but because most stores feature furniture thats styled and sized for modern great room homes, I was growing frustrated by the lack of available options. Laura took my ideas and came back days later with some truly beautiful solutions. I had the best relationship working with the staff of By Design and specifically Interior Designer Laura Beeler. I knew from the moment I wanted to design my living room in my new home that By Design was where I would go. While growing up my mother worked with Bonita on many projects in my childhood home and they were always beautiful! I found the entire experience to be fun and enjoyable. Laura met me for a consultation to discuss my thoughts and wants for my living room. She listened to everything I expressed and although I was a little all over the board she was able to come up with exactly what I wanted; Style and Function. After coming to my home to look at the room in person and take measurements, we met again at By Design. During this meeting she showed me all the ideas she had put together from the furniture, lamps, artwork and the layout. It was for sure the most exciting part of the experience. She went as far as to advise me about paint colors that would compliment the room as well. Laura stayed on track with the budget I had shared with her and there was never any unexpected surprises that alarmed me. When all the items arrived and were delivered she was right there to help assist me in getting everything arranged and set up. Instantly my living room was transformed from boring and blah to beautiful, functional, and stylish! I had a GREAT experience with by Design! We recently built a home and I needed a lot of help with furniture and design. Their furniture is unique and not what you see everywhere else. And more importantly, you will not find a nicer, more helpful, honest group of people.

My good friend, Sherri, is a designer at by Design and encouraged me to browse their American Leather furniture line in my hunt for a new sectional for our great room. I was wanting something contemporary, comfortable, and durable and found the perfect style on the American Leather website. Sherri then had me come in and we poured over the fabric choices until we found the perfect one. I then decided Id better get a new area rug and Sherri to the rescue! When Sherri texted me the exciting news that my sectional, love seat and rug had arrived in their store, she included a photo of a coffee table that she thought would a good companion and when I showed my husband, he said, oh, thats cool - go and look at it. I did and I loved it (and, of course, the matching side table). Thanks to by Designs fabulous product selection and Sherris good eye, we now have a room that is not only functions well for our family but it also incredibly beautiful. My wife and I have bought furniture here and feel that it is sad that after spending several thousand dollars on merchandise and waiting for it for several months, there was no follow-up from the designer to see how we liked it or if there were any issues. Horrible customer service at the end!
