Chain donut franchises are not my jam but when my 765 year old mum is in need of cheering up? Krispy Kreme is the go to. Thanks to all of the wonderful and polite staff for making every drive through experience absolutely exceptional. You rule!

Went to get my free birthday dozen donuts and got super lucky with fresh made and still warm donuts. The people working were super nice. Best donuts I have ever eaten.

Their donuts are okay, but regarding the business: very busy in the morning when I drove by (good sign!) so I decided to stop by with my order/questions in the afternoon (theres no place online to ask questions and I didnt want to bother them on the phone). Stopped by 5pm ish and one set of doors was locked, so I followed another customer to the unlocked door. As I was putting my mask on to enter, an associate came and locked the door. No popping out to offer a reason, etc. Didnt see or hear any emergency vehicles. Customers inside, dont the doors have to remain unlocked during business hours? Later driving by I saw signs posted that said Lobby is closed sorry for the inconvenience. Hope everything was okay; just poor communication.

The staff is friendly. The girl who helped me over the phone definitely did a great job selling their services!! I drove nearly 4 hours, one way, to get donuts from them because there aren’t any Krispy Kreme shops near Minneapolis. Went to get the buy a dozen, get a dozen original donuts free. Worth the drive!! Wish we had one closer to the Twin Cities!!

The doughnuts are fantastic! Service was prompt and staff was very friendly. I had a Glazed coffee and it was fantastic! Absolutely recommend.

Went to get four sour cream donuts and when I got home and my wife opened the box, she couldnt believe how small they were. The donuts didnt even taste like sour cream donuts. We use to go all the time and the donuts use to be bigger and tasted like sour cream donuts. This was a disappointment and four paying over $4 what a waste. Hopefully they get this fixed or else everyone will go elsewhere.

I was there for the Friday the 13th special and they were very busy. Line moved quick and employee was friendly, including me having to ask if they had more of certain kinds of donuts because the trays were empty in the case. Each time he returned with what we were asking for.

Had a wonderful experience at the Clive, IA store! Friendly and welcoming staff, fast service, excellent products. Know of several who drive distances to experience all of this at this specific store.

Although the hot donuts sign was off, we stopped by for coffee and were pleasantly surprised to find hot mini donuts being made. Both the mini donuts and coffee were great and the staff were very nice.

Employees really dont know what is going on. If we wanted an assorted dozen they said it is charged by donut not the 12.99 listed on menu. Also said Krispy Kreme doesnt have plain pumpkin donuts that it is next week. Called about said they had them.Plus krispy kreme donuts are just not that great anyways

Sunday morning 9:30am, 8-10 workers but only one handling all aspects of counter so long wait. She wore her hygiene gloves while handling cash and then just continued handling donuts, but their so damn good fresh I still can’t resist, what’s a little Botulism among friends? Bring wet ones to clean a table.

Love this place. Due to location of where I currently live, I am unable to come here often but I do thoroughly enjoy their donuts. They are soft and well cooked. Staff is always very cordial and pleasant. Sites are always well maintained and thoroughly cleaned. Havent seen a dirty location yet. Still my favorite donuts of all time. Beats caseys and sparkys (local to iowa gas station) donuts. Parking seems to be decent at this location in clive/des moines area.

We opened up the box of donuts while driving away, and I just about ran into a telephone pole laughing so hard. My God! Theyre so tiny! MUCH smaller than they were a month or so earlier. Only slightly larger than the mini-donuts at the State Fair. This is as blatantly shameful as it gets. NEVER AGAIN will I do bidness with KK since theyve chosen to gouge like this. Theyre not the only donut shack in town. Forget all the hype - their donuts are simply not THAT good for the ridiculous price, and now theres even less value. Not sure if this is a systemic issue or this location only. Either way, management clown gets one star for at least having a pleasant employee.

Drove thru, ordered two six packs of 4 glazed and two cream filled with chocolate frosting. I got 4 glazed and two glazed with white drizzle. Really? How tough was that order? Never offered a receipt so who knows if I was charged correctly or what. Both my and my moms identical orders were wrong.Tired of incompetent or negligent workers.

It was good and you get to see how the donuts are made. Its pretty good and they have more than just glazed donuts.

Its a Krispy Kreme, so it is exactly like any other Krispy Kreme. Busy... long lines....not so very clean...

Ive been there many times. Today was rather busy, probably because it was chocolate glazed Friday. The donuts I got were good. I had an issue with the app and no one seemed to know the answer. I had a reward for a free dozen as of yesterday, but I wanted to wait to get some chocolate glazed. Then when I went into the store today, it was gone out of my app. This was a little frustrating, and the only suggestion they had was to check the app. I did, but I didnt see any info about when your rewards expire, nor do I understand how all 12 points could have expired at the same time. I just wish someone would have been able to have an answer, there were about 8 people working in there, surely someone should have an idea.

Normally theyre doughnuts are big, fluffy and good, but not on June 27, 2020. Stopped there to get a couple dozen to take to my grandsons birthday. I was so disappointed in them. Had a coupon for a free dozen glazed, when you buy a dozen of any kind. I got a variety, then glazed free. Smallest ones Ive ever gotten. Theres are not cheap ($14) Not sure I will be going back. Its bad when a small strawberry is taller than a doughnut. My grandkids were shocked, Ive bought them for them before.

DONT order online at the Clive location! I was ignored at the counter for almost 10 minutes and then given the wrong order missing an entire dozen. Then was challenged that I had an extra dozen until I reshowed them the order a 3rd time.To top it all off...no apology for the delay or mixup.Maybe Ive just come to expect too much, but this was a terrible experience on a Saturday morning.My advice...pay very close attention and make sure they give you what you asked....and maybe dont bother to order online.

We drove almost 3 hours for Krispy Kreme doughnuts, ordered online. Once we got there we were told that one of the doughnuts that made up the majority of the order they didn’t have. The proper thing to do in this situation would’ve been to call the customer to let them know instead of waiting for them to show up to the store to get the order, before telling them the order couldn’t be completed. Not to mention there was almost no choices at all for doughnuts to replace the missing ones.

Hands Down Best Donuts in My Area! My favorites are the glazed with chocolate and sprinkles and the original glazed.They almost always have fresh donuts at this location. The drive through is efficient.Sometimes the employees have misunderstood when discussing orders but it all makes up with the perfect donuts.Pro-tip: Sign Up for Krispy Kreme Rewards for regular discounts on original glazed dozens.

I ordered 2 specialty dozens at 18 a doz and a few extra random donuts. The bill was a little over 50. I get there, no specialty donuts, on top of having to wait several minutes for help. I ended up with 2 regular dozens with a very limited selection that Im sure didnt add up to 50. Very disappointed.

Drove the 4 hours for the best donuts ever! Ordered online and arrived for pick up and they had run out of the donut we drove the distance for...was super sad! Buuuut they TOTALLY made up for it and took care of us! Turned the frown into a huge smile and still totally worth the drive!!!! I appreciate the going above and beyond!!!!

Best when fresh off the conveyor belt. Save money and find coupons in Valupack, download the app, and mail flyers. They usually have a bogo deal.

They are really friendly and efficient. I watched a line go the entirely around the building past the entrance be cleared in 15 minutes. They fixed my drinks that I ordered wrong, with a smile. They also now deliver if you order online. Donuts melt in your mouth!

My family and I love Krispy Kremes donuts. We love that thye are light and sweet. Unlike most place where you can only get cake donuts, Krispy Kreme offers more. They are often busy especially early morning when you can get the glazed ones hot and fresh! We wish there was more then one location! They always have some kind of deal going on and the staff are polite and do thier best. I would highly recommend every try them at least once!

Well I love this place and the doughnuts however I sat in the drive for about 3-4min then decided I will just go in as no one had said anything yet and as I drove around there was three people in total standing in the window two of them with headsets just not sure why they werent greeting customers and taking orders
