Gotta love me a Joanns. It has all the fixings and its a well organized store.

Very nice and lovely place. Its very peaceful and staff is friendly and helpful. Theres always deals on fabrics and coupons can be found online or in their app. Its a great place to visit if you need fabric or craft supplies.

Cheryl and one other associate were very helpful and nice. I have always had a great experience at this location. I couldnt find one item I was looking for and it turns out they dont carry it, but they gave me recommendations on where to find it. I also had questions about online prices vs store prices and she very nicely explained why there was a difference. Thanks for all your help!

Friendly staff and lots of products to choose from. I go every holiday for their unique new products. A little pricey, but they always have sales and coupons.

This store is not managed well. There were so many employees working very hard to restock the shelves yet only 2 at the cutting table where there were 8 people waiting and 2 being served. After at least 20 minutes we gave up at left our material and went to the from to pay for our notions only to have to wait more. The cashiers were actually keeping pretty good time but my patience was already worn. Never shopping here again...kudos to the SE 14th store

As a male, I am some what intimidated going to a sewing store. The clerk was very helpful and showed me where things I wanted were at. I was given an instore discount when I did not even know there was one.

I am giving this place a four star because of the big price tag. The reason I am giving it four stars though is because they always have sales. At this time, they are giving 50% coupons off anything in the store with no exclusions. This allows you to score some pretty sweet deals. Great store for those who are in to sewing and other various hobbies. The cutters are super friendly and passionate about their craft. Theres only one unisex bathroom though.

I mean, they have a lot of fabric. But its hard to find what you need, theres way too many people and not nearly enough employees. No one was available to help even point me in the right direction and when I finally got someones attention she said she cant help she has a call on hold, didnt even wait to hear what I needed to ask. Unless you KNOW what you want, go to Michaels or Hobby Lobby.

I hurried to the store seeing their online hours close at 8PM on a weekday. I arrived there at 7:57PM knowing Id be in and out very quickly, i needed a good pair of fabric scissors. It seems the staff wanted to leave early on a Friday and locked the doors before official closing hours. Looks like the staff takes liberties with their closing hours.

Friendly staff always helpful to answer any questions. Lots to pick from. Tons of fabric for those who sew or work with crafts, jewelry etc.

I have shopped here for years. It is the only store nearby that sells garment and home dec fabric. Their selection has improved over time. I wish they carried some finer quality casual garment fabrics. The store has improved some in cleanliness, I wish they would move to a nicer building. The front entry doors always look dirty. There is only a one stall unisex bathroom. The building is old and needs renovation. The nearby Pier One building would be nicer. I believe Pier One is closing... I have always found the staff to be helpful and courteous, but the store is often understaffed with long lines at the cutting table and at check out.

Did the online pick up order and the manager was BEYOND rude. Blaming me for showing up 3 hours after placing my order for three items in the SAME aisle. I offered to do it myself even though it isn’t my job. I guess I didn’t know I would get blamed for someone else not doing their job. Get more staff if you don’t want to do your job. Not impressed.

Wasnt at Joanns Fabrics, ate at Buffet City.

When going with my family to pick out fabric we had ten minutes left to pay. It was 5:50 pm and I understand they close at 6:00pm however we had ten minutes to pay for our items. Instead they called over the speakers and said we are close cash register is closed and exit the store. Any other store will tell you they are getting ready to close and take your final items to the register. I guarantee with the stares and disrespect with everything going on it was because I am African American. When a store closes at 6 I should will be able to check out at 5:50. My family did not deserve the judgment from the employees. The checkout was still open considering someone checked out right before. Moral of the story is don’t turn a paying customer away with ten minutes left to check out.

Went for a zipper and came out with 3 different Christmas present ideas as well.

The people here are nice, and the craft supplies are plentiful Unfortunately, there isnt a lot of variety of fabric. Tons of fleece. Fluffy and gauzy stuff for Quinceañera dresses.Be sure to check for coupons online before you go.

After waiting 7 minutes in line, I received the biggest hassle for wanting to return an item. After 5 minutes of getting nowhere, I drove across town to another JOANN store and they returned my item with no questions asked. I was in and out of the other JOANN store on less than 2 minutes! About 60% of the time, the fabric isnt cut straight so Im always getting less than what I paid for.

Literally the best store you could go to for anything crafty. My best friend and I had to find a ribbon for her wedding dress and found the perfect one. Everyone working there is absolutely wonderful!

I had amazing customer service here. The team/staff worked together to find us the best solution for what we wanted to do. They told us about every deal or item that would help us make the project cheaper and easier. We saved about $100 or more thanks to their help. They made fun conversation too while we got everything. At the end they held the door open since our hands were full!

5 stars! Love this store and love their staff! I get THE BEST treatment every time I go in. I am learning how to sew and basically know nothing. Every single time I go in I have to ask a lot of questions and every single person I talk to is knowledgeable and takes the time to answer my questions thoroughly. I even ask them for their opinions about fabrics, colors, and designs. One girl helped me by showing me where to get coupons and helped me by playing with my daughter while I looked for fabric. This same staff member helped me with picking thread because the thread I was buying was actually for embroidery!! Im so thankful she told me that because here I was buying $10 thread when I should have been buying $2 thread! I honestly could go on and on. The prices are great and they always have nice sales. Liquidation prices at Hancock Fabrics are more expensive than regular prices at Joann. Like I said I love this store!

There are always cool finds here. The after holiday sales are nice too especially Christmas!

I picked up a cross stitch kit today. I havent done that for a few years. I will be indoors and out of the sun today. The staff was helpful and I appreciated that.

I usually have a great visit here. The ladies at the fabric cutting table were awesome. It was when I asked for a price check on a pattern, that one of the men who did the price check was upset like I asked him to pay for my pattern.

They were very helpful in finding everything we needed and helping us get together all our stuff. We are planning a wedding in less then a month and needed a lot of stuff for last minute things. My only problem is that they are unnecessarily expensive

The employee ringing people was so rude to everyone in line. Once I got up there she rudely commented on how much stuff I had in my basket... like I shouldn’t be stopping in the store? I tried to ignore it, but then while she was ringing things she was being so dramatic like oh gosh, how’d I go and make her have to work? So much sighing that I told her to cancel the sale. I certainly don’t need to shop at places with people who are so rude like that. Hope joanns is happy they have hired a bully to be the face of their Clive store.

You DO NOT walk away from a customer in the MIDDLE of attempting to resolve an online ordering coupon issue. IF you think my 20% coupon issue isnt important enough for you to attend to, Im sure other fabric stores will be happy to have our business. Customer Service is NOT a priority at this store. Thank you for helping me decide where I will take my crafting needs in the future.

This is the third time I have visited this JoAnns this month. Horribly understaffed, usually 10-15 people waiting at the cutting counter. Has decent selection of fleece and upholstery, very little material for special occasions

I was looking for some pieces for a dress Im having made and Im not a seamstress, so I needed help. The white hair sweet lady in the back was so helpful and pleasant. She even gave me some information about where I can take a sewing class.

For a small space, the variety of products is diversified and fun. The employees are knowledgable and enthusiastic to help. They need a bigger store!!

This is a smaller joanns location than Ive been to before. You can really tell when there are boxes blocking aisles, preventing you from getting to the things you came to buy. There was one time it was so bad, I left empty-handed. Its just not a great way to run a business. It makes the store feel very uncomfortable and unprofessional. This would have been a 3-star review for that reason, but the staff is always helpful and friendly, and I otherwise enjoy shopping here, so that rounds it up to four stars.

I loved the staff well most of them there was this person who was sitting at this computer by the sewing machine and my daughter was touching one and you know kids they touch every thing and the lady was like do need help in a very mean way. My daughter said no and then gave her a really mean look and she said I will go away and she did. I wanted to to talk to her but she was on her phone and she didnt one of the shirts on so I dont know if she works there but they need to tell her to be nice and to get off of her phone.

This is the store I enjoy shopping in. Lots and lots of of selection of products, good customer service and a nice clean store. Items are arranged well and convenient to locate. Many opportunities to use coupons to help ones budget.

I’ve only had terrible customer service at this location. Over the phone and in person the employees are rude and insensitive. It sucks that the only place nearby that has such a large selection has customer service bad enough to drive people away!

Like, like, like...employees and products. Some are a bit pricey, while others are cheaper. Everyone is very helpful and the advise is pretty sound, at least for me. Find yard goods, yarn, art supplies, baking and decor items.

As others have noted, I too have been stuck in a massive queue waiting to check out. Which is very difficult having chronic pain from back and hip injuries. That being said, they have a good stock and helpful staff for the most part. I wish they had a better separating zipper selection.

No customer service skills at all! Having to file a dispute with my bank because of being charged twice and giving no time frame as to when I’d receive e a refund. Absolutely ridiculous. I’ll continue to shop at Michael’s where they know how to treat there customers.

It is a great store and always have sales. The selection is very limited and they were out of stock of a lot of items. Not much to choose from when looking for something else instead of what you are looking for. Options very limited.

There was a great amount of choices to pick from! The store was short staffed and thoses who were working weren’t to polite. Also the guy working the cut fabric station lied to me about the size of the fabric that was recommended. I had to get a whole extra yard when it wasn’t necessary.

Just had the worst experience. Lack of register attendants. When one came up to help he was very rude to me. Could have explained the situation, which could have been resolved easily, misread a coupon, instead he was huffy and belittling which made me feel awful and probably will ruin my day. I wont be going back and I hope that no one else experiences this. Havent ever be made to feel this badly before.

Store is okay.Very few selections/brands to choose from, all for extremely high prices.Always a wait at checkout and fabric counter, expect to spend 30 minutes for a few items and 45+ if youre buying fabric. Never seen more than 2 cashiers working, even on a holiday weekend with lines 15+ people deep. Hands out coupons freely, but always have weird exceptions All Bakeware 75% off (excluding items used for baking). Also things are often mislabeled or in the wrong place. Things in clearance bins are seldom marked down, tags that say $5 often mean $10+.In closing, its not a horrible store. If you have time and money to spare, this is your place. If not, check Michaels, Walmart, or Amazon. Youll save time, money, and a lot of frustration.

The store was a huge pit, boxes stacked 6’ high blocking SEVERAL aisles, fabric bolts stacked high and falling over, it looked like nothing had been returned to its place or unpacked in months. Nothing was on display to buy it was all in boxes unpacked stacked sitting. Will never waste a trip here again. Filthy!
