This was my first time in THIS Hammers location, but I enjoyed my experience here. If you havent ever been to a Hammers or dont have the slightest idea that a store named Hammers EVEN exists, then perhaps reading this MAY help you, I hope. When you first walk in, you cant help but notice the Numerous racks and tables of clothing, with a different section for EVERY member of the family! I consider a large portion of the clothing GREAT work clothes, BUT I have NO DOUBT that I could put together an outfit that looks rather nice! To me, the BEST part of it all are the REASONABLE prices I saw on the items I looked at! Although the main item I saw was clothing, Hammers carries other items as well. So, if you find yourself in or near Clinton, TN with some time on your hands, stop in to Hammers and take a look around. Who knows, you may be glad you did! Have a Great Day!

Great place to find deals and unique items. Most of my cloths are from Hammers. My great-grandmother shopped at Hammers as well as my grandparents, parents, children and now my grandchildren. Six generations of loyal Hammers customers.

Good deals on clothing and misc. Items. Size up the clothing first. Sizes are a little off, also be sure to look for the defects, most are minor but are noticeable.

Really nice clothes (simply southern) and even has cute boutique styles for kids and adults. Very clean and organized. Beautiful home decor items as well. Love it

Very nice to shop at for on thing I got was a carpet 8 ft by 10 for my living room I love it. I also got a nice warm jacket for the winter good for any temperature. They have great clothes to get.

I like buying rugs here. Prices are very reasonable on them. Some items have really good prices while others are a bit steep( but thats my opinion). Still a good place to browse.

Nice associates.....not very clean. Products are dusty and musty.

I found no pants size 38 or 40 at all. No 2 xl goodies, no XXL jackets. Coveralls were 85$.... jackets over 50 no hood. Not one pair of overalls which btw, are priced 4$ more than you can buy them off the rack at other stores, unless your a 52 or 62 waist they dont have any. Hammers has a lot of imported tools and shelves full of stuff that I suppose some thought would be a good idea. It their business, vut its been a while since Id been in one, and I didnt see anything that will make me go back soon. Prices and selection just werent what we used to get there.

First time I have been to a Hammers. Really good selection & fantastic prices. Very friendly staff. My most enjoyable shopping experience in a while. Will definitely be back.

Hammers is a guys like me shopping paradise. You never know what they are going to have. I was looking for more of the Key Dungaree stlye pants. They didnt have them, but they did have some awsome fishing shirts, button up style for $15 ea. I always enjoy looking at the Military Surplus stuff.

Love this place! I hadnt been here in 5 years or so, but I always find what Im looking for! Today I was rug shopping. I found 3 awesome rugs! One is a beautiful runner for the hall. Friendly + courteous employees! Cashier asked an employee to carry out rugs to my car. Was not necessary but appreciated.

Hammers has the best deals around! Check em out sometime. Friendly staff & good service. Clothing, shoes, hats, silk flowers, rugs, metal art for the yard for the & all kinds of different things to dig into.

Super cheap clothing and lots of plus size options too!! Definitely would come back for more clothes. Its also the best place to get overalls for a cheap price too. My overalls are so comfortable and I love them!! You could spend hours in here and still spend less than $20. Definitely recommend for anyone on a budget.

Great selection of items for anyone. But, the employees are not friendly or helpful. In the years Ive lived here not one employee has ever even said hi much less offered help.

I miss the old Hammers. It was in different floors with different sections of surprises. It was more fun. Now they sell clothes that cost more than regular stores. Completely different than the past.I only go for cheap replacement rugs.

The store is always clean! The merchandise is always displayed in a colorful, trendy way. The staff I met were always patient and knowledgeable to myself and other customers. I do have a Hammers store close to me but I have found this location to have a bigger selection of merchandise that I frequently purchase.

Couldnt find the right size of Jeans for my tall boyfriend but the staff was friendly and helpful.

Hammers love this store because you never know what you are going to find. The staff is very friendly and all appear to enjoy their job. There prices cant be touched especially when they have a special sale going on. I visit the Clinton location on a regular basis and will continue to do so!

In the late 1960s I worked in an army surplus store. It was a great after school job. We sold everything from army surplus trench digging shovels, a wide variety of hand tools, area rugs, and clothing. Hammers is the army surplus store for our time. As I travel around east Tennessee I always visit their store when I come across one. Unique doesnt come close to describing the shopping experience.

Like the good deals on house items. Clothes is most of the time with big defects if it is very cheap. Most of the things sold here are cheap in all senses but some are ok for what you need them.

I lost a lot of weight this year. Unsure of what size I now wear I was trying on several different sizes looking for work clothes for winter. It took longer than usual as I had to search for sizes through their mess. I was then approached by a POLICE officer and asked to put my things down and leave the property because mine and my wife’s business was not welcome! We called the store manager as soon as we left who said “our security does a good job and we go by that”. We explained we had done nothing wrong and spoke and dealt with several associates during our visit for assistance and he wouldn’t apologize or anything. Just that we weren’t welcome there. We were absolutely profiled for no good reason. Dressed in jeans, real tree and carhart and boots not anything sloppy or like we were suspicious at all. We will NEVER visit this location again!!!!!!!

Doesnt seen to carry the selection or quantity of items and clothing that it used too. $6.98 tee shirts had large stains or holes in them. Advertised as 2nds, but should have been thrown away. Most cuts or holes could not have been repaired to wear. Very disappointed.

Great place to visit on the regular for good discounts. Probably the best place in town to get a good looking and affordable throw rug.

Hammers used to be a place that you could go to for great prices but now its just as much as Walmart or any other store.

Always amazed at what i can find at this store.

I went to buy a rug. There were plenty to choose from. Howevet, none of them were priced and I had a hard time finding someone to help me. Which, in turn, she really didn t know what the prices were either. I left without a rug and an hour of my time wasted. Dont even bother trying to find your size in any shoe, they are all jumbled up in a table.

Good. Although they charged me $69.00 for a hat that was $6.99 lol. Issue was corrected after I got home an headed back.
