Neatly intertwined course layout...easy to get lost but holes are clearly labeled...if it is your first time playing here use a caddie or app to navigate the round and have fun. Some very unique holes packed with daunting challenges that give you a feeling of satisfaction to conquer and make par... definitely worth it

We had a great experience that for a 90th birthday party. Our server was extremely attentive and very efficient, catering to all our needs in a very expedited fashion. Highly recommended venue with excellent food.

A beautiful place, but what stood out even more was the catering director, Trevor. To say he went above and beyond is an understatement. Murphys law tends to follow everyone, and of course my sister-in-laws wedding was no exception. Trevor was on point and took everyones concerns as if this was his own private affair which made us all feel comfortable and at ease. I had the opportunity to speak with him and I will tell you he is an extraordinary individual and upper Montclair country club is very lucky to have him. He made everything come together flawlessly!

We held our daughter’s wedding here last weekend and everything was wonderful. Everyone said that it was the best wedding that they had ever been to. The venue was beautiful inside and out, and the food and service were both excellent. As you can imagine, planning a wedding during the pandemic was a challenge. Throughout the entire process, Trevor, the event coordinator, was extremely helpful and supportive. I can’t say enough good things about the whole experience.

This is an establishment that prides itself on a tremendous guest experience. Whether you are a Member or event guest, UMCC will surely surprise and delight. I stand behind this property as I am the current Catering Director. While many of these recent 1 star reviews are clearly fictitious and defaming of my associates, they are laughable at best. Anyone who has been here firsthand would agree and also be privy to our closure in January each season (making void all faulty reviews in 2020). This crew, especially my associate Joe, are some of the hardest working people around. I am proud to be part of such a great team of true professionals who strive for excellence each day.

I was invited to play there by a long time member. Beautiful golf course with 3-9 holes courses and nice layouts. The staffs are very polite and professional. I can’t comment on the food since the grilles was closed. I read some of the reviews for whoever giving out one star. It is absolutely absurd, lies and confused other golfers that is looking for a membership around the area. Those reviews were all about one person name Joe.

The course was enjoyable but the food at the clubhouse was amazing!

My Daughter was just married on 6/4/16. It started out humid and sunny. When the ceremony was about to start it started to pour. But Lee Ann and her staff were AMAZING. They claimed by daughter down, because she was upset do to the rain, but at the end we had the ceremony under a tent and our guest had to stand while watching the ceremony. The food was AMAZING the chicken was really Delicious. The Drinks were top shelf. The waiters were so nice and always helping everyone. All our guest have been emailing me, telling me how much fun they had and how beautiful the Country Club is. Upper Montclair Country Club did a GREAT job. Thank you for EVERYTHING. Luz

It’s obvious someone is creating fake accounts and leaving 1 star reviews because they must have a personal problem with the establishment. In my opinion a bad experience calls for a 1 star review BUT ONLY 1 review, not 20 under 20 fake names. Not cool

Im giving this club a 5-star review simply to offset many of the fake reviews and lies on here. Anyone with half a brain can see that many of these reviews are being posted by 1 reviewer that has an agenda against this club. In fact if you check their other reviews, you will notice that they are attacking two country clubs in two states a thousand miles away.Google Maps is for helping consumers make intelligent decisions based on real events and real reviews.I am glad that the country club has finally addressed these reviews and is fighting back against these lies.I have personally walked these country club grounds and the most I could see of any trash, would be a lost golf ball. 🏌️‍♀️

Great historic club (1901) with 27 holes. Excellent walking course, great conditions and substantial investments underway to take the historic clubhouse to the next level

I attended private event here. The food was good and the place is runing efficiently. The event was beautiful and the service was excellent. I would consider this place for my upcoming event.

Wonderful Park like golf experience. All staff were very attentive and professional. The meal courses were well thought out. Clubhouse was comfortable and well appointed

This is a nice place but this club is the reason rock spring is shutting down! If you want a nice golf course and everything in a club go here just I hate it now because rock spring is like my home and I can’t imagine life without it

Cant recommend when you get invited to caddy here and leave home course a loop should be there for you I got one other caddies came and they didnt get a loop. Lots of emails from members saying there caddies cant speak English. Cant recommend

Upper Montclair Country Club is located of of Route 3 and the Garden State Parkway In Clifton the reason why I’m giving them 5 stars is because of some person writing fake reviews if you click on there profile the person is writing reviews on this country club and a country club in Peoria Illinois the reviews are spam and garbage you can always report or remove them

Place is in Clifton nowhere near upper Montclair . Not even in the same county sorry. Your caddy situation need improvement and you should leave the gate from route 3 open for access to country club towers
