This place is busy everyday you walk in there. They make great bagels and have a pretty good deli for hot and cold sandwiches. I got 2 dozen bagels and a 2 lbs of cream cheese for a weekend event and the bagels lasted all weekend. Was definitely because of the quality of the bagel.

So this is the spot for fresh hot bagels... the steamy gooey goodness of what a bagel should be. I usually get the Taylor ham/pork roll and cheese and has never been disappointed. Its the right thickness and correct flavor it should be. Definitely the place to go. (pic compared to other reviews.... whod you rather???)

I am a Clifton Native and been here a lot over the years. I don’t know what happened, but they’re not a well functioning bagel spot. I called in advance to place my order by phone. I ordered 3 items. I came 30 mins later to pick it up to give them time- I know it’s busy on Sundays, fair enough. I get there and the man at the counter tells me it’s not ready. I saw an order that looked like mine on the counter next to the other cashier so I figured I’d give them time to bag it up. Nope, the cashier took my order to the back for some reason. I waited a good 15 mins and asked about my order again. The cashier looked frantic and asked me what my order even was.???? The other cashier stated she took it to the back since no one asked for it. Makes no sense. Waited over 40 mins AND THEY GOT MY ORDER WRONG. No sausage on my sausage egg and cheese bagel. All the food was cold. This is also not the first time that this has happened. They’re always losing orders. This place needs a better plan as far as how to receive orders and give them out. You’ve officially lost a long time customer. I’d rather drive to another town to get bagels.

I have been ordering from Hot Bagels Abroad for many months. Every time, the food is just great! Whether we just order bagels, or some of the other salads, sandwiches, etc. - it is consistently great food!

I usually get everything bagel with th (taylor ham), egg, and cheese. Or cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese. But, their bagels are always so good and perfectly made. And I am always satisfied with what they serve and I could never hate it because it’s just delicious. I definitely recommend getting bagels from there. 10/10! I will probably always go there!

I got a bacon egg and cheese onion bagel from here and it was very good! However, my friend got veggie cream cheese on an onion bagel, and the cream cheese had big chunks of vegetables in there! It should of been diced up and mixed well in with the cream cheese! It was unsatisfactory unfortunately. Will not be getting that again.

I normally prefer hole in the whole coffee/breakfast places but this chain is a great place. The lox tasted fresh, the coffee was great and the people are very friendly. The only complaint but something that can be understood, is that the eating area could use a little cleaning between guests but the place is so busy it can be understood why. Is a great place for locals when asking around and would go again when in the area.

Jalapeno cream cheese everything bagel never disappoints. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend trying their bagels. The prices are a bit high but worth it. Great bagel and cream cheese selection.

Horrible... I sent my kid for bagels have no idea why he chose to go here. Waste of money. They put A teaspoon of cream cheese on the bagels and they were all over cooked. Ever since new owner I have never went back. I sent my son to bagel station.. didnt even eat the bagels.

This place took 40 minutes to prepare my food. And let me tell you, I was hangry, but gosh darn it their bagels were sooo good. Would definitely eat again but next time, I’ll call in the order. I suggest you order online or call it in before hand. They are really busy, so they may lose your order.

Real deal bagels. Essentially New York style --- shut up New Yorkers --- neighborhood vibe with staff who are straight out of Central Casting.

Bagels are descent but the wait is long and the prices are unreasonable. Even if there are two or three people ahead of you, plan to wait for a good 15 to 20 minutes to get your food. I used to frequent this place but there is a much more reasonably priced place a block away with comparable quality.

BEWARE!! This establishment will overcharge you and will NOT give you your receipt Unless you ask em specifically for it.. Make Sure to get your Receipt... Multiple times they have overcharged me, until i caught them...

Love this place.Rainbow bagel with house-made strawberry cream cheese for the chitlins, a black Russian and Lox for the wife, and a French toast bagel with a fried egg for me. So good that I didnt even take the time to take a photo!Plenty of parking, good selection of bagels, sandwiches, and breakfast platters. This is our go-to place for a lazy weekender.The staff is super nice, too. They deal with half-awake zombies like me every morning and still manage to keep their cool.

This place used to be a staple of clifton. Along with new management came higher prices & lower efficiency. Prices & wait times are not worth it for the quality. Staff greets you by yo. Professionalism, service, pricing, quality all sub par. Sad to see what this place has become.

This is one of the worst experiences Ive had......I ordered a 3 egg platter...with well done bacon ...home fries and toast....I received after paying tip....hard cooked eggs...no bacon and toast....I also ordered two hungry man platters....which did not include toast and home fries....when I called to address the problem the owner said there was nothing she could do....As an owner I would have personally fixed the problem....no refund given....no change was made to my order by giving what was missing....soo disappointing..... Dont go here

Yesterday I had a steak and mushroom with cheese omelette, it was awesomely delicious! Definitely the best omelette I ever had. Mushrooms were super fresh, steak was just right, I think there’s spinach too. I’m excited to have found this place, can’t wait to go there again! I think my boys will enjoy a weekend brunch there. Yummy! I must say too that their service is also excellent.

9 hours is the drive I take once a year to eat at this place. The bagels are crunchy on the outside and super soft on the inside. They have a variety of types of bagels as well as salads. (It is a deli) all the bagels are made fresh everyday and it is the absolute best bagel shop that I have ever been to. The bac egg Nd cheese is the absolute best. Thank you for the 10 plus years of serving to the public and for your delicious bagels.

It very saddening to have to give this shop a bad review after being a loyal customer for five years, but the service is no longer what it once was. After a recent shakeup, the staff is extremely lethargic, unorganized and inattentive. They make you feel like you are burdening them for placing an order and rarely return a greeting. Moreover, they very regularly get your order wrong, so make sure you never call an order in as you need to supervise them yourself if you expect to get what you ordered. The only positive here is that the food is still good, but do yourself a favor an avoid this shop unless you have the time to act as interim supervisor for each of your orders.

Always love going here to get bagels. Been going here for years and they dont disappoint. Closest bagels your gonna get to NYC bagels. They also make sandwiches breakfast and lunch. Definitely recommend this place

So I’ve come here multiple times only because my husband prefers them. Multiple times in the past I’ve had issues with ordering, missing items, extremely long wait times. Today was the worst, I called ahead to pick up 2 dozen bagels. Prior to taking my order they ask for my name and phone number, then gave them my order. While on the phone, no one said how long it will be, how much it would be, or any confirmation. Just silence and then hung up. I arrived 45mins later to find out they didn’t have enough bagels that I requested. No one said anything when I placed the order, no one called after the fact to tell me, even though they asked for my phone number. No one had an answer, just blank stares. Im furious!

Very fast service even with a crowd. Multiple choices of coffee. Had a baiali really good. Great selection of bagels. Looked golden brown. Tasted great.I drove 20 minutes to give it a try and I was very happy I did. Nice assorted crowd. Couple families, some friends having Sunday breakfast and some folks picking up to take dozens home.Very good, very tasty. Nice price. Ill be going again.

I gave this place 3 stars not because of the food but just the crazy disorganization of the ordering process. They need to organize how people order and have a separate line for waiting for your order. The restaurant is small I get it but management can do a much better job. I suggest if you can order ahead do so.

I order an egg sandwich.. 2 eggs over easy American cheese lettuce and tomatoes. I waited 35 minutes. In addition the order was remade. I received a platter of rye bread with what appeared to look like a salad with 2 eggs on top. The second time I got 2 piece of cold bread with to over hard eggs cheese and tomato. I was starving upon my arrival and having to wait so long exacerbated my nerves. I asked for my money back and the gentleman behind the counter began to argue with me.

Order a everything bagel over the phone. Picked up and when I got home it was a plain.When I called to complain the manager had left for the day and the employee who answered the phone was rude and told me they dont need a manager. I beg to differ. Bagel was good service sucked. Will not be going back.

Went once before work, paid for my food. Then waited 15 minutes and I realized the cook didnt even start my order. Simple egg and cheese . Today I placed an order with someone because I needed delivery. She was not qualified. I waited over one and a half hour. Then I called and they had no idea what I was even talking about. The previous owners .....My goodness you should have taught them how to give good fast service.

Placed an order during lunch not only did I have to argue with the manager but the menu is deceiving and I paid full price for a wrong order. Order was tuna deluxe menu reads deluxe is $5.49 plus deluxe is $2.50 includes french fries, side salad, lettuce tomato and pickle I got a plain tuna on a roll nothing on it. Fries, pickle, and a small side salad. Sucks I was asked to go come back to get lettuce tomatoe for my sandwich.

I used to love going to this bagel shop, but their front staff are soooo rude they dont make eye contact with you and if they do they roll their eyes and look annoyed that your there?? No one needs that terrible customer service. They used to have very nice front staff what s shame my friends anf family stopped going there.

Pretty much the same as any other bagel place. But the people they have working there look and greet you like they hate their job.

Bagels are still good. But wow has this place went downhill. The place needs a good cleaning and renovation.

They put way too much cream cheese on their bagels and this is coming from someone that loves cream cheese. Its very wasteful. You taste more cream cheese than the actual bagel. They do this with egg too when ordering a hot sandwich. Ive had some poor experiences in the past in regards to miscommumicating my order, long wait times when there is no one in the place (I was the only one in the place once and they messed up my order and didnt make it for probably 10 min of me sitting there waiting and I asked if it was ready and they forgot to make it) and staff seeming confused and untrained which is concerning for a bagel place.

One of my favorite bagel places. Only negative is that they don’t fully melt my cheese when asked. Other than that....awesome place to have a bagel.

Waited 20 minutes for 1 single order. When I asked to find out what happened to my order no one had an answer until someone finally figured out it wasn’t made yet. New ownership should address this because I wasn’t the only one that order was messed up.

I have been going here for 20 years, it was great but not anymore!! The customer service is horrible, nobody smiles, or is even enthusiastic about helping you! The food is not good anymore, they either put too much cream cheese or not enough. They have a pick up line, but you still have to wait for it. Im just disappointed.

Saltiest everything bagels in the entire nation. They could combat the Jersey snow storms with how much they put on. I think I may have gotten hypertension from this; would definitely not reccomend. However, everything else is great. Bagels are good, staff keeps things clean, employees are nice when its slow, etc. Good place, its just that the everything bagel is inedible. There was more salt in one bite than Ive had collectively over the last year.

Great folks run this place, the food is awesome and well done. A few of the people that pick-up the phone got my name and address all memorized, that should say something about how many times we order from them. Only complaint but its somewhat understandable is the delivery time, longest is probably a 1 1/2 hour wait that weve had.Tailor ham, egg and cheese on a everything bagel (salt/pepper/ketchup) with a Dr. Pepper for me.

At least five employees and they all ignored me. I asked if I could order and for a um, yeah. Just a second. Then ignored for a few more minutes. They must have been changing shifts and/or working on pick up orders since the place wasnt that busy. I wasnt given a choice on side salad as menu stated. I was given a salad with no dressing and no mention of it. I was given everything wrapped to go even though we were sitting at a table.

My favorite New Jersey bagel shop. Im picky about my bagels being from NYC the bagel city but I love Hot Bagels abroad. Delicious French toast bagel and vegetable omlet is so yummy!

Ordered a bagel egg and cheese waited 20 mins and asked the girl if my order is almost ready and she forgot it. Meanwhile she saw me right in front of her waiting. Doesn’t take a genius to figure out I’m not there to stare at her but to wait for food. Got my money back and left.

Oh my god ..Tony you have to go back to this place is his place used to be nice and cleaned and had exelent customer service and now is like...There is no health department inspectors in clifton .Is totally out of the line when it comes to food handling codes is disgusting .It looks like there is not even a manager ..I cant believe ..This place used to be packed and now is like not even on quart of the customers coming to eat there.This new guy should be thankful that there still few of the old customers coming to eat there and should consider of giving what ever is left of this customer better service and quality on food and higen .

Honestly this place ALWAYS messes up orders. I literally repeat the order to the woman at the register multiple times and she still manages to mess up everytime. I dont get it. TAKE HER OFF THE REGISTER.Not only that, I pointed out the error and she just shrugged like I was the one that messed up. Rude as hell. I wont go back.

I had the super egg bagel and my son had the regular egg bagel. Mine was tasty and my son said his was ok his egg bagel didnt taste like egg. Lol😁

My brother & i ended up getting the “hangover” bagel (sausage, egg, hash brown, cheese) & OMG !! Soooo Good! The service was GREAT & the food even better !! I can’t wait to go back to NJ, this place is DEFINITELY going to be my first stop!
