The house I brought years back had old original windows that probably never been replaced. I had several quotes from different companies and I couldn’t remember if hired GBH at another house I had many years ago but there price was reasonably lower than the other 4 companies. I had 3 windows on each side of the basement so total of 6. Two were solid up front, next were vented and my last window facing driveway was with the dryer vent. Jason was the installer and been with the company for years and he knew his work. I was very pleased with his performance. I thought there was gonna be a crew out to be done quick but he was the only one and got done quicker than expected. Nice friendly worker and pointed out what he did and what I can do to frame it out when I put the drywall in. I have another single window to do later and definitely will be GBH to do it. Very happy with the look and quality. I would recommend this company.

Saw their ad in the Gold Clipper and decided to give them a call for an estimate on basement windows which are 50+ years old. They came out within a couple days and provided the estimate. The guy was very nice and kind and did not try and over-sell me like other companies I have dealt with! I put the deposit down and scheduled the installation for the next week. The installer came out and knew exactly what he was doing. He removed my old windows, installed the new ones, and cleaned up any mess that he made. The windows look gorgeous! The mortar is done very professionally and this is a great investment to my house. I will definitely recommend Glass Block Headquarters to anyone!! (before and after photos below)

The installer was less than outgoing and the guy who priced the job had conspiracy theories regarding covid-19. The installer did fix something regarding the concrete around the window as well.The windows look good. So far no leaks. They have been in several months and had to keep out a lot of rain so I have to say these people did a good job.

Had 7 new glass block windows installed in our basement and we are so happy with the finished product. Dave was fantastic, nice, and did excellent work installing. Highly recommend! Oh, and their office cat is adorable too.

Been doing business with this company for years have referred them to many clients and friends. Ely and his crew must be getting to big and have forgotten about customer service. Last install was done wrong, workers left a mess had to have them come back out to fix the issue. Gave them one more chance. Ordered a window in April, was told by the salesman that someone would contact me within 2 weeks to schedule install. Never received the call, gave them the benefit of the doubt, due to covid. Finally I called, got the answering service. When I received a return call the person on the phone was very nasty and stated that they had been calling, but I never returned the call ( lie)I work in an industry where. I am on call so my phone is always with me. When I called today, I was told I couldnt have the window installed until middle of July. Spoke with Ely to tell him what had transpired and was told that they dont work for me and they I had so no right to be upset and that he would send my check back to me. I agreed. WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM EVER AGAINBEWARE IF YOU CHOOSE TO!

Hired them to install 9 glass block windows in my basement. Salesman was professional and didnt try to upsell or beat around the bush. They offered a reasonable price for the service. I scheduled the appointment, the installer came out, completed the work, and cleaned up his mess without issue. Im very satisfied with the work completed and would hire them again.

Not trustworthy. Get your quote in writing. Better yet go somewhere else. Exorbitantly overpriced.

They’ve been to my house 3x to fill space between my house and driveway. First time I could have done better, it was a mess. They came back and redid it. It sank down and wasn’t completely filled. They came back again and again it sank, wasn’t sealed, cracked. Eli came out and said they’d make it right. He went to the supplier because the filler was supposed to stay pliable but mine got hard. I have been waiting weeks ( MONTHS since they started) for him to finish the job. He says he needs 2 days with no rain to do it. There have been many 2 days without rain he’s not finished the job. Now it will be snowing, rain will get into the cracks, expand and leak into my basement. I am not happy at all !!!!!!

Installer David arrived promptly and exceeded expectations. Work was completed between 3-4 hours, and the area was cleaned up afterwards. A+

Twice now the young ladys have helped me with my premade glass block windows and both times every thing went together like I knew what I was doing. I hope to get more glass block window installations because Ill be going back 😁😀🤗🤗

Fair prices. Excellent workmanship including smoothing of concrete around window edges. Cleaned up nicely post-work.

Awesome place very convenient Ive gotten like 22 windows from them in the past year and I will continue to use them in the futureMost other places want at least a week before the windows are ready but Ive gotten them as soon as 3 days from here

I would avoid this company in the future. Now that I read their Angies List About section it seems like they are trying to over compensate for a lack of customer service. My contractor recommended this company and said I should be able to save a little money with GBHQ over the big name window outfits. While the estimate was less, $90 to be exact, the poor quality windows and treatment by a company representative identifying himself as Eli make me wish I had gone elsewhere.The windows were installed on 10/9/17 and I made notes on the invoice, expecting a company representative to contact me upon reading my dissatisfaction with both the substandard build of the windows and the 4% customary overcharge for choosing to paying with a credit card (sorry, I dont know anyone that charges a credit card fee anymore, but GBHQ tries to play it off as a good thing because they arent “hiding it. No, instead youre slapping me in the face with a junk fee). When my credit card was charged on 10/12/17, without hearing from a GBHQ about my issues I took the initiative and called. I was told that someone would call me back in a few minutes, Four hours later I received a call from Eli. I told him I was referred by my contractor, that the salesman was thorough and that I was happy with the installer but that the windows seemed shoddy. The silicone used to assemble the windows was still wet on the insides and all the joints were sloppy, with globs of silicone everywhere, instead of clean joints. Eli seemed to take it personal from the start suggesting that maybe I should come in and show them how to lay a clean bead of silicone. I said Id be happy to, but first I’d like to get the windows I paid for. He said it was impossible to get the windows 100% perfect (which is actually the same thing the installer said as I recall). From there the conversation, I use the term “conversation” loosely because it was one-sided as Eli continually cut me off. It quickly deteriorated to a shouting match as I tried to get a word in here and there, but he continued to speak over me, was sarcastic, inferred that I was senile and ultimately used a derogatory term for a gay man. When I suggested maybe I should speak to someone else at GBHQ he said that I would not be speaking to the owners, that they had full confidence in him. So, at the moment GBHQ is scheduled to come out next week to repair my new windows. I will try to keep an open-mind but I will not tolerate a repair that does not make them the windows I was promised.NOTE: While silicone sounds like a better material than the mortar typically used to adhere the glass blocks it does not create the joints between the blocks you typically see thus making the window diameter smaller. The result is a larger gap around the perimeter of the window that requires a heavy bed of mortar to fill it. While I personally like the look of the windows, when silicone is properly applied, I am not a fan of the 1-1/2 gap round the entire perimeter of the window, especially if you’re not going to match the mortar to the mortar to my brick houses mortar joints. I only mention this because the salesman did not prepare me for this fact, forcing me to get an explanation from the installer.

Our glass block windows were not mortared in when installed, which caused water in our basement. We then had to cut out drywall and replace. This company gave me a very difficult time about getting a discount on a future project or repairing the drywall in our basement. Very unprofessional.

The owner of this company Eli Preys on drug addicts for cheap labor I recently did some work for him and did not get paid he is nothing but a crook posing as a businessman beware of him I am in court now trying to get the money he owes me
