Meal was delicious, menu had basic breakfast items as well as some house specialties. Definitely worth a look for weekend diner breakfast.
Breakfast menu had a huge assortment of choices. Food was brought quick, everything was hot and very good.
Smells HORRIBLE, I should have walked out then, however we tried. The food was not good at all. Served cold I asked for lemons for my tea the were sooo dry and brown I think they were cut and placed in the fridge for at least 4months. I would have at least thought the waitress would have had common since not to serve them. But nope that was the second warning.
Picked up some oatmeal from these guys this morning, it was delicious. Granted, its hard to mess up oatmeal, but I had such a pleasant experience picking it up that I couldnt resist a review.
I made the mistake of calling the wrong location. I was polite enough to call and cancel the order and apologize for the confusion minutes later. I was hung up on because the person answering the phone was so upset about it. It was very rude. I will not be buying food from this restaurant anymore.
Super huge and casual eatery. Not at all trendy, just good homecooking. Accomodating, friendly staff. Wide menu, great breakfasts and other meals. Fast service, well priced.
The good was Very reasonably priced and tasted good. Our server was super funny. She had us laughing throughout our morning.

Just an awful experience on memorial day. Not sure if short staffed or what, but took us 10min even to get menus. Put in order and 40min went by without anyone even stopping by. We twice tried to talk to waitress and manager and got one word dismissive answers. 10min later we walked out without getting any food.
So I’m giving this a five star review not because the food was five star necessarily, but…OK it’s kind a like this, when you go to McDonald’s the food is fantastic because, well, it’s McDonald’s. You don’t expect anything exceptional they just do “that” well.So I went into big egg not knowing what to expect, but when I walked in to pick up my order and saw the place… It’s old! I kind of figured what to expect.Solid food. A little pricey (?), and after a 30+ mile bike ride… It was fantastic! Even the sliced canned mushrooms and petite diced canned, drained tomatoes tasted fantastic after that long ride. We’ll be back.
Service was friendly, some food better than others. My hash omelet was so-so and hash browns needed more griddle time. Pancakes were good. Bobs omelet was good but needed salt. Place could use a rehab but its not practical to do at this point. Im very used to breakfast diners and Id rate this one average.

It was an uexpected, last minute stop. Our hostess and waitress were Great. The place isnt that big. It had a homey feel to it but was a tad drafty. It took awhile for our order to come out and it wasnt that hot.

Their Gyro was so good!! Its lamb and beef. The Tzatziki sauce was excellent! Our waitress was the only one w orkimg and still did a great job!!

Worst Cutomer service ever.Went to eat there this morning walked in two waitresses looked at me as I sat, then we sat there for 5 min without anyone addressing us. Once they heard me speak of the service the response wasnt good morning I was asked if I was dining in.( To myself) I mean why else would I be sitting in your establishment. She then walked away... Still no good day, hello, how are you ?Nothing . we sat and looked at the menu but was left sitting. Meanwhile a women and her son come in... Get greeted and sat.. Order taking while we sat 8 more min there...still nothing so we left... Worst experience ever! Good customer service is hard to find ... It definitely isnt there.

This was my first time at this establishment. I ordered breakfast and lunch items. The breakfast an bacon and cheese omelette with hash browns and a half order of french toast. It was good not the best breakfast Ive ever had Just good. And the corn beef sandwich definitely a thumbs down the sandwich was really small and the meat was cut thick and it was tough my onion rings were soft couldve definitely been cooked longer and they did not come with the sandwich not worth the price for the corn beef sandwich and they give you circle pickles not the sliced pickles which left my sandwich half saughy along with my onion rings. Dont know if Id give them another chance
Don’t order this food for delivery. It was so bad it almost seemed like it was on purpose. The chicken tender appetizer came with 1 tender and another one cut in half. But don’t worry! They added in 10 slices of potato that some people call “french fries” but these people must call them “hard vegetable chews”, in case you were in a starchy mood. and if you ask for any extras (+1 egg, add bacon), expect only one broken egg. This place is perfect for you if you have a heart condition or are a white personbecause absolutely nothing was salted or seasoned.Chicken sandwich and omelette were decent.

First time at the Egg, great breakfast
Went in there one Sunday morning and after waiting for 20 minutes with nobody coming to our table, we got up and left. What a dumpster fire.
The best breakfast in North Olmsted and quite possibly the whole west side. The staff is friendly and attentive, the kitchen is fast and accurate and the atmosphere is welcoming. Emily was a great server and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good breakfast.

Always good food. We stop there every couple of weeks or sometimes more. The food is great and you wont leave hungry. Everything is priced right. Two people can easily eat for less than 15.00

Easily one of my favorite places to go to breakfast in the morning. Whenever I find myself near downtown in the early hours, or coming in from a long trip I can always know this place will be open to provide me a good breakfast to get my day officially started.

Ive always wanted to go here, but was so disappointed. I didnt get any food, just coffee which was the worst Ive ever tasted. My colleague was able to order breakfast which he said that he enjoyed. The back door was open, which allowed a number of flies into the restaurant.

Upside EVERYTHING tastes great, good deals with their specials, prices are more for families and groups (our LARP group used to come here until the hours changed), but doable even for a broke single mom to treat her babe to his favorite chocolate chip pancakes. The place is comfortable, the staff is so friendly and helpful, they make sure youre getting your moneys worth but also leave feeling the love.

Best Super Late Night Eatery Experience in Cleveland to Date! Our Server was amazing. Handled a pretty decent Rush of guests with grace, professionalism, and just enough humor to keep it classy. She never become flustered, even though the number of patrons in an instant - grew from 4 to about 10!Kudos to the kitchen Staff! As the food was HOT, and Served at warp speed. Our meals were decently priced, well prepared, and they were very tasty!Wed come across town to hear a friends band play at one of the establishments nearby. But would definitely make the trek back to the area, just to dine at the Big Egg!
Ate lunch here this past Sunday. Found out that they are only open to 3pm and breakfast was the main thing offered. No problem. DH and I had omelets that were really great. Had great hash browns and toast along with them. Coffee was good and never ending. We could not have asked for anything better! We lost our usual go to restaurant to new owners so The Big Egg will now be our favorite place. BTW, the staff is super friendly and the place is clean.
Love the big egg! Their skillets are awesome (but so much food). Also love the coffee. Basically everything Ive eaten here has been great. Plus they can always seat you, even a large group.
Great omelettes! The Superman is my current favorite. Ive been eating here for years and always have tasty breakfast and good service.

Went here with my family a party of 9. I don’t usually bash businesses. But when I have to walk out of an establishment I have to share my experience.When we entered we weren’t seated. We had to seat ourselves. We all sat in 3 different booths. The waiter came promptly at first. Bring our water back. But after that, it went all down hill. We never seen our waiter again. There were to other waiters who would walk by and we would stop to get things. Like coffee, more water, or even an update on our food in which we waited for, for an hour! I went to the front desk to ask could they check on the food. And the young guy didn’t even want to, until another waiter came and said go check on it. By that time I knew it was time to go. I won’t recommend this place and I won’t say don’t go there. But know if you run into the staff that I did. You may get the same service.

Have heard good things about The Big Egg and finally found time and money to go. The coffee was good and definitely a bottomless cup. However, the food was a bit of a let down. I ordered eggs, corned beef hash, hash browns and toast. The eggs came out wrong, and the corned beef hash was more like potted meat. Not sure a second visit is in the future.

You know, how when youre at a restaurant and you tell somebody thats walking by . what you want and they say, Ill find your server. Well thats not here. You have your server and then you have the people walking by that work there. Down to the Busboys. If you tell him you want something they go get it. They have everything thats got to do with an egg LOL.

This is your classic breakfast all day diner. They serve cleveland bagels so you know the gyro bagel sandwich is amazing. Staff is always friendly and quick. Theyve recently raised their prices a bit, bringing them to a two money sign, but the food is fantastic.
