Serving up some of the best ice cream in town, their flavors are hard to beat! A major bonus having vegan options too

Went with my girlfriend on 9/12. My gf saw and approached another patron’s dog outside while I went inside. I heard the lady behind the counter say “even a 4 year old knows better than that”. She should mind her own business and not disrespect my woman. Will never go here again.

Very nice Ice cream shop. Owner was serving up scoops and was nice to talk with while there. Creative flavors and very well priced. Would definitely go back again.

The ice cream was delicious. You can make anything you want with many flavors to choose from. The prices was very reasonable.

When I first moved to Cleveland there was an article in the Cleveland Magazine which listed the top ice cream parlors in the metro area. Ckeveland has a lot of them and Tremont Scoops was on that list.The first time I went there was after taking my son to Tremont to watch the filming of Captain America Winter Soldier. After we watched the filming, we walked over to Tremont Scoops and ate ice cream on the bench out front. It was a magical day. Every return trip brings back that peaceful memory.I should probably try more flavors, but I am in love with the PB&J Sandwich flavor. This week I had it in a cup with peanut butter sauce on the top and it was sublime. They have plenty of vegan flavors, fitting in fully with that Tremont vibe. If its a nice, warm day in Cleveland, make time to stop at Tremont Scoops and chill out front. Soak up a little idyllic Tremont while you enjoy some of the best ice cream in the area.

The ice cream was good and I was allowed to try different flavours. However, clearly they are in the business of overcharging customers. I came in on Thursday July 22 and a very young (kind of shy) girl charged me $8 for one scoop on a sugar cone. The staff seems to be unfamiliar with the prices.

Salted caramel is my favorite or the vegan vanilla strawberry Sunday! Staff is amazing and the prices for the amount of goodness is amazing!

They have the best milkshakes ever here

(visited on 9/4/21) My favorite aspect is that theyve got 4-5 varieties of ice cream cones to complement their ice cream, including a unique pretzel one to balance any ice cream thats super sweet. To help prevent the spread of COVID, they didnt have any tables inside.

Awesome ice cream shop around Cleveland. Nice and cozy place to cool off from the heat. The inside of this shop was amazing with swings and great variety of ice cream flavors. Ordered the vegan cookie and cream on a waffle cone. It was great made of almond milk. You can ask for samples of their different flavors. Will definitely come back to get more ice cream and walk around the neighborhood.

Not a huge variety of flavors but everything tasted great. Would have been 5 stars if the employees were a little kinder....Hellos and Thank yous go a long way!

I love Tremont scoops! So far I have tried two flavors of theirs and each one is chefs kisses. I had the vegan cookies and cream and the vegan mint chocolate chip, the latter being the best vegan ice cream Ive had in ages! I highly recommend subscribing to their email newsletter because I think I laugh out loud every time I read it.

My grandkids love the ice creme and on nice warm days, like to sit in front of the store and eat their treats!

TL;DR – go.I thought I knew NEOs ice cream scene. Tremont Scoops changed everything.Several weeks ago, my family came to visit CLE. After a lovely dinner at Fat Cats, vegan dessert was on the mind... but all of my go-to ice cream shops were closed or too far. Tremont Scoops came up as a result of a friends search. I scoffed, incredulous there was any vegan ice cream which I had yet to try in Cleveland. Oh...but there was. There really, really was. A tiny, cute as can be shop, glowing in the Tremont twilight, marked by an unmistakable cone-can and ample bench space.Not only did Tremont Scoops (an easy & fun walk from where we were) have *MULTIPLE FLAVORS* of vegan ice cream, but also vegan whipped cream, toppings, and milks for shakes & malts... I was dumbstruck.I cannot possibly oversell the deliciousness we encountered that fatal night. I became an instant addict. I refuse to admit how many times Ive crawled back for a vegan blueberry pancake malt, how many pints of vegan cookie dough Ive ordered.The product itself made me a Tremont Scoops believer, but it was the most enchanting, entertaining, fabulous ice cream slinger on the face of this earth that made me a Tremont Scoops fanatic: Johnny. Give that human everything & more. Thank you for making our night.

Walked up to Scoops at 8:50 while there where 3 girls in there currently getting ice cream and having it scooped. (2 girls working) I proceeded to open the door... well try and open it, it was locked! I know they close at 9 and was being a late customer but when I saw 3 other customers in their I thought I was going to be okay to come in and get some ice cream to take home. I then tried to open it again and then knocked on door and no on even looked over at me at the door. Not the people working or even the girls in the ice cream parlor. I felt very embarrassed and it really was unfortunate because I was bringing someone new over to get some of it and now they have had a bad experience as well. I do hope next time I come I don’t have to worry about this today is may 11 just so you can know who was working because wow. Really sucked love supporting local businesses

Quite a few vegan choices. I was super excited when I saw they had vegan mint chocolate chip and got even more excited that it wasnt made with coconut milk. Good prices and decent sizes scoops. Definitely will be back. I will also be spreading the word to my fellow vegans that this is a must stop.

Great old time parlor atmosphere and wonderful choices of ice cream. There were vegan options, and even a few items for dogs. Each flavor I tried was delicious. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely be going back!

Loved this place as a kid use to get the superman ice cream alot. Great place wonder if they still got the bouncy ball machine.

This place is wonderful! Not only do they have great vegan options, they are well prices, staffed with smiling faces, and have the cutest little kids table. I have to mention the fact they had mint chocolate chip ice cream! My absolute favorite that I can never find And it was sooo good! Also had a strawberry shake. Also was very good! Cant wait to go back.

I regret the moment I even looked in this shops direction.And what you can learn to better:Pay attention to see which customers were there firstDon’t allow the customer who was behind said customer to go before because employees can’t pay attentionDon’t hire people who aren’t trained in customer serviceLast but not least, don’t run out of materials. You charge an arm and a leg no excuse.

Ice Cream soo good! Just a single scoop was heaven. I had the salted caramel something one day and a raspberry sorbet the next day. Both were exquisite. Its served not-too-cold, so you can (and have to) dig right into it and chase drips around the cone. It demands your attention, the way an ice cream cone did when you were a little kid, and it was the greatest thing that happened to you all day.

Not as good as Mitchells or Honey Hut, but its a cute shop and has good options. Its a great place to stop while youre on a walk through out Tremont. It has seasonal flavors, along with solid flavors. My favorite is buckeye, but my friends have other favorites.

Tremont Scoops always has a great vegan selection. The mint chocolate chip is so good. They also offer doggy ice cream which our pup enjoys!

My favorite ice-cream place, lots of flavors, a unique taste I cant describe, nice staff, lowered prices for taste of Tremont, free samples are given, but the prices are normally high, 7$ pint 6$ double 4$ normal 3$ kids 4$ slushie. I may be wrong. Oh also great responses to reviews.

Cute space that kinda smelled funky? I got the vanilla dairy free ice cream and it was good but melted quickly because it was already so soft and airy.

Awesome ice cream stop in Tremont neighborhood. Ordered a strawberry shake and single scoop of ice cream, both of which were slightly larger than expected. 2-person staff was friendly and efficient, even as line quickly grew to 15-20 (which still stayed moving). Seating inside and out gave us a place to chill and nom. Ill be going next time Im in the neighborhood!

The ice cream is delicious...love that they have so many diverse options. Employees are very nice... looking forward to bringing the family back again soon!

Large selection of homemade ice cream. If you go in the fall, try the pumpkin pecan pie flavor. Its wonderful!

Our favorite ice cream in Cleveland! Im convinced the chocolate black out in a pretzel cone is the best combo of all time! The black raspberry truffle is to die for as well! The people working there are always friendly as well. Love this place!

Im not sure what kind of bad service one of the previous reviewers is talking about but Ive always had extremely friendly service there. The ice cream is very creamy and the flavors are fantastic. They dont overly sweeten the flavors and the ratio of ice cream to fillings/flavors is spot on.Its the perfect compliment to a dinner at Edisons Pizza across the street.

Nice little ice cream shop. Beware that it gets crowded on the weekends, especially if its hot. I get the peanut butter milkshake every time and its amazing.

We happened to find this spot one day as we ventured back from the splash pad/pool. It was rridiculously cute with a couple swings hanging in the window, inside. I sat with my littles and swung while eating my ice cream. One of the coolest parts? They had GLUTEN free ice cream cones and the prices were perfectly reasonable. A summer pitstop until the end of time....we love Tremomt scoops. 🍦

The Banana Creme Pie flavor is EXCELLENT! Lots of unique flavors; they even have chocolate covered frozen bananas and ice creme sandwiches with home made cookies.
