My new favorite cafe to visit in Cleveland. The decor style is more minimalistic, displaying antique coffee grinders along the shelves and paintings along the walls. This is perfect for those of us with shorter attention spans who really need to focus on their work. The music is eclectic and tasteful. I really recommend you try a salad here, its very fresh, not overly dressed, great pricing to portion ratio and just all around delicious! I personally had the power salad and I absolutely loved it! It was fresh, perfectly balanced in flavor, and something that keeps a person coming back. The berry bliss iced tea I had was also perfect for a summertime pick me up. The idea for the passport lattes from around the world was really fun and it definitely spoke to me as a person who travels all over and loves every minute of it! So overall, Im going to be here a lot before I leave Cleveland so please take my money.Update! Ive since had the opportunity to try another salad here. I tried the Greek Chop Salad this time and it was just as good as the Power Salad which leads me to believe all the salads are bomb here. I was informed that all of their dressings are made in house, no wonder its amazing! Youd be an absolute fool not to order a salad when here!

Cool coffee shop with tons of flavor options. The staff is friendly and attentive. It’s nice to see a coffee shop open for dine in which has been a huge mystery to me for why other coffee shops don’t offer dine-in...Parking is located behind the building and there are other public parking areas nearby. The area offers many cool places to check out. Their pastries and muffins look amazing even though we didn’t get one.

Delicious coffee. The Passport Card is so cool, since it lets one try different special flavours of latte named after cities around the world. I had my first, the Mexico City latte, which is delicious. Im definitely going to come back so I can try all the special flavours.

Literally my favorite cafe in Cleveland! I recently moved to a different neighborhood and I miss coming here so much. Traveling through the area I decided to stop in, and Niki the owner said hi and still remembered my name! The staff are always super nice too! I cant say enough great things about Gypsy Beans! Use to be a favorite of mine for the pastries and coffee or tea, but now the large assortment of treats are off limits for me, due to healthier choices. However, if you have a sweet tooth, it is a must to check them out. But, if you just need a tea or coffee great for that also. I am Unsure about the lunch menu because I never tried anything there.

A lovely corner neighborhood coffee shop. Its very cozy and has the original wooden floors. They have a huge selection of coffees and a nice lunch menu. We had a sausage potato soup that was delicious. We also had a sinfully delicious frosted lemon muffin. If I lived here, Id visit every day!!

Was a nice place to be. But sad the ones running it will allow personal issues they created to ruin experience for me and many others I was going to bring to the store. Had a nice group of people ready to come in weekly. But because of past relationship or should I say game that was being played by one of the head staff people. I was banned from the store because their personal opinions and fears. Not professional at all. Glad their real side shown before I brought a good steady 15 people there.

Im visiting the area and this has been my go-to spot most mornings. The coffee is strong, and they have gluten-free bread and bagels for their yummy breakfast sandwiches

This was a disappointing experience because the shop is a cute little place. However, I didn’t enjoy either the service nor the product at a time when it didn’t seem particularly busy. The service was not welcoming either. I ordered two drinks - a vanilla chai tea and iced coffee, and it took too long to get them compared to other shops. In fact, several people who ordered after me in line received their orders ahead of me. Sadly neither drink tasted good; the vanilla chai tea was watery.

What a great stop on my tour of independent coffee shops! The Sweet Potato Asparagus Salad was fantastic, the coffee options were outstanding, and the staff was very friendly and fun. The atmosphere is very laid back and inviting. I’m looking forward to stopping in again!

Nice place . Loved my mocha latte from here . The owner is a very nice lady and all the staff are friendly and hard working . The pastries are good . Nice atmosphere to sit inside and have a conversation with a couple of friends or sit at the tables facing the windows on to Gordon square . Ill definitely be back when Im in the neighborhood. Ive changed to a 5 star . Ive become a regular and cant say anything bad . The line is nearly out the door whenever I stop in .

A little locally owned and operated Cafe and coffee shop with a delicious selection of coffees, tea, smoothies, and everything in-between. Vegan and milk alternative friendly. Great selection of sandwiches, salads, and soups with a vegan option everytime I ask. Nice dining room thats adherent to safety practices in the pandemic. My favorite is the kissing cousins iced latte and the beef brisket.

Everything about this place seemed spot on. They are open inside for seating, which was my reason for coming. The baked goods looked great and the staff was friendly. I just ordered a latte, and I couldnt even finish it. The hot ash milk that I received would make Charbucks blush. I dont say this as someone inexperienced with good coffee. I used to roast and serve it as a barista. Yet I dont say that as one waving his nose in the air, for Ill drink just about any coffee, except this one. If you are a heavy smoker, however, it might serve a nice placeholder between your early and late morning packs.

A favorite place to meet with people. Just has that welcoming feeling.

I lived in Cleveland for about 2 years and Gypsy Beans was right up the street from me. I tried to experience as many places & things as I could while I lived in Cleveland and I must say, the coffee at Gypsy Beans is one of the things I miss the most now that Ive moved back home to Youngstown. I do my best to make sure I pop in and grab an iced coffee (or two) every time I find myself heading to town for something. Everything Ive tried there has been good and the shop is a very comfortable, cozy place to enjoy a tasty beverage, snack or meal along with a friend or maybe a good book. My favorites there are Galapagos, Appalachian, and Syracuse iced coffees but Im sure theres something there that everyone can find to enjoy as much as I do my favs.

Their Berlin coffee is absolutely delicious! And I love how dog friendly they are.

My boyfriend and I visited cleveland for a couple days. Every morning I made it a mission to go to a different coffee shop. This one had the best tasting coffee, I had to go back! Highly recommend! They were also very nice and service was fast. Pastries were good - and if you want a donut instead they are just across the street!!!

Yum...yum... YUM! I have ordered from gypsy beans through Uber eats, and I have NOT been disappointed. The sandwiches I’ve gotten are fresh, soooo delicious and best of all, there are gluten free options! Coffee is great, too although I’m more into all the delicious sandwiches they have- 1900s club, ham and cheddar and blackened chicken wrap and can we talk about that potato salad?!!!! 😛 I had a mild scare when my wrap showed up in what I thought was a regular tortilla, but I called to confirm and they said “oh! let me check but I’m pretty sure we made that with a gluten free wrap!” They DID and I was so pleased with how nice the gentleman on the phone was. I’ll keep getting Gypsy Beans, they bring it home!

I live near Lakewood, where coffee places are a dime a dozen. Its refreshing to find a place that can make a good cup of the stuff.

I grew up right down the street. Walked down Detroit Avenue and stopped here as a kid but back then it was a drugstore. I have such fond memories of this corner. So nice to be able to come here as an adult, reminisce and get a nice pastry and coffee.

Between my man and I, we go here about 8 times a week whether its call-ahead or Uber delivery. This place has great coffee and delicious sandwiches and pastries. When I brave the weather and go in, they are all so friendly and welcoming. They have double doors to ensure cleanliness and i look forward to this place everyday.

This is what a real community coffee shop feels like. Add to that fantastic food and delicious drinks and Gypsy can’t be beat. Great place to post up if you have some work to do, though WiFi can be slow.

Everyone around is nice, beautiful and aesthetically pleasing, the customers, the workers - the whole damn place.10/10 would recommend the Caramel Lattes ~Also, their coffee wasnt stupidly overheated like other places (pretty sure they have some high quality machines). Just waited a few minutes and I could start taking real sips.

Gypsy, despite the weird name, is a decent coffee shop with very nice staff. Their food is solid, but I dont particularly care for the beans they use. I really wish they found a better coffee roaster to supply them.

Lovely coffee place. Ive been here 3 times and every time the staff was very friendly. I love the drinks and the names of them. The chocolate croissant was delicious. Its comfortable and sitting in the window is entertaining.

While it may not be the swankiest coffeeshop youve been to, its still great. Coffee is great, staff are friendly and quick, and a lot of the food options are tasty. I come here frequently to relax and read. Plenty of seating so you wont have to worry about getting a place to setup. Parking out back in the public lot or you can easily find it on the adjacent streets.

Great place to sit and work. Comfortable atmosphere. Menu looked great. Unfortunately, they didn’t have any food items at accommodated my gluten allergy. As a bakery, it may be worth experimenting with different baking ingredients to welcome more people in to eat and experience your cafe.

Delicious food, I had the roasted vegetable panini. A wide variety of coffee & beverages. Staff members are always friendly. Cafe style dining and work space is spacious.

Not a bad place to hangout. Internet is decent speed. Food is definitely overpriced considering what you get. The coffees are good though. There music can be kinda annoying sometimes.

Really nice local place. I went at 7pm so I got decaf and it was very very tasty. I rarely drink decaf because decaf is usually sub-par in taste but I couldnt tell the difference. I had a raspberry muffin which was very good too.

Good coffee, cozy atmosphere. They have many styles of coffee drinks and baked goods for sale here. I enjoyed the large iced coffee during this visit whilst meeting a longtime friend of mine. I have been a customer since the beginning, circa 2005, when I commuted to my job, but they dont know that. Wish my wallet was fatter. Recommended.

Gypsy Bean has been a favorite of mine for over 10 years now. Its that cute little coffee shop on the corner you see in movies.Its exactly what you expect and the quality of the products are definitely there to match. Its a great place to meet a friend, get some work done, or just sit and watch the city pass by.I would most definitely reccomend you stop in Gypsy Beans!

The flavored lattes are fantastic. I like the white chocolate and raspberry latte and the chocolate and Cherry latte. and the sandwiches are really stand-out good, especially for a coffee shop. Similar fare as Pannini, only better and local.
