First time stopping in and was looking for a cheese advent calendar. Unfortunately they were sold out but I still looked over their great looking cheeses and other products available. I didnt order a sandwich but have heard theyre fantastic. Ended up getting a few unique, local items for Christmas gifts. Definitely check out this gem when you have time!!

Amazing cheese shop! The employees were very helpful and kind. Let us try multiple cheeses. They have many choices of cheeses, meats, jams, etc. And a sandwich menu that changes seasonally. Well definitely be back!

I like there cheese and jams I dont shop often as I should that may change. My clients mom also liked there new sample tray they have hopefully she will shop there too. Cant wait till the new patio open may sit for a minute.

Awesome place to find not only excellent housemade cheeses (the tefenhardt and punk are household favorites) and mustards (Original IPA is particularly bright and delicious), but also find great goods from other local vendors (cheesemongers and others) as well as non-local and hard-to-find items for your charcuterie boards (nduja sausage).Its really good craftsmanship combined with really good curation and is a must-visit if you like either of those things (or cheese).Looking forward to get a sandwich one day.

Very friendly ladies!The Broadview sandwich was so interesting and unique. A bit rich for my taste (could have used some greens to lighten it up) but tasty.Give it a try, support local!

So Ive gone here previously for their sandwiches. They have always been tasty and so I go back. Now I went in around lunch time, there was one other customer with the social distancing. But the lady at the counter said she didnt want to make sandwiches. It must be great that thus business can turn away paying customers.

My first time visiting was yesterday afternoon with my boyfriend. There is a nice selection of cheeses and accompaniments in the shop. The staff were polite and helpful. I bought two of their own goudas, mustards, and a cleveland brand ketchup. I tried the cheeses and the pear mustard so far, and they are fantastic. I will definitely visit again, and look forward to trying all of their cheeses!

Their cheese is excellent, thats a given, But the shining star that not everyone is talking about, is their sandwiches!!! An absolute must try. Take your quick lunch game to a whole nother level! The Lafayette is phenomenal. The sandwiches are a little pricey for the size, but once you bite in, you realize why. A true gem of Cleveland.

I recently went to this establishment and I am blown away by how delicious the cheese is! Probably the best I have ever had! I cant wait to go back and try some other varieties! The owner was very helpful in explaining all of the differences in the cheese.

Old Brooklyn Cheese Shop is amazing. One of my favorite places in Cleveland. The selection of cheese is fantastic, the staff is knowledgeable, and the service is great. I also recommend eating here! Great Mac and cheese and their raclette days are to die for. They make so many great cheeses, too! Love love love.

What a wonderful little cheese shop! I made the trip all the way from Lancaster, OH, with my mother and my two children, and it was so worth the drive! Michael really knows his cheese. We told him what we liked, and he selected several options for us to try. He was spot-on every time. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Very warm feel to the shop. Very clean and well-planned store. In addition to cheeses, they also have other items like jellies and olives that will help round out your appetizer boards. Cant wait until I can make another trip!

Love This Small Business Edition to the neighborhood. Polite and extremely friendly staff with excellent knowledge on their products. They even sell products from other local businesses. If you have not yet been, you must try.

They have an impressive selection of cheese and also carry jams, pickles, and sauerkraut. The owner Michael and his staff are incredibly friendly and down to earth. No need to be knowledgeable to enjoy as they will tell you anything you want to know. You would not think of this as a kid friendly place but they answered my young sons million questions and let him try cheese even I thought he wouldnt like (he proved me wrong and loved it). The chorizo cheese was fantastic and made by Michael himself. I look forward to our next visit at the Old Brooklyn Cheese Company.

After passing this place day by day i finally stoped in to check it out. I was beyond happy with my experince. The lady behind the counter was helpful and very knowledgeable! She helped me pick out two delicious cheeses and some prosciutto to go with it. I can say with out a doubt i will be back in this store!

If you love cheese, or even if you just like cheese, you need to come here. They are so knowledgeable and helpful with finding something to delight your tastebuds, with a large selection. The rewards program is great, too! It seems like were getting a discount almost every other visit. Parties, gifts, or just date night at home by the fire, it seems I always have a reason to stop in and pick something up.

I LOVE Cheese!!! So this place is close to heaven for me. Lots of sample of cheese preserves, and mustards. You can also taste everything before you buy, they serve lunches, and offer great suggestions. Definitely will be treating myself often.

Super friendly staff, theyll treat you like a friend even if youre new to cheese outside of Kraft singles. They have jam tastings, too, which were all stellar (the gingerbread one tasted like Thanksgiving in a jar and the sweet onion apple is diviiiiine). I was sent on my way with a gloriously savory and smoky cheddar that my fiance and I just made mac n cheese with. Perfection! Excellent cheeses made in house. Pricing is a bit higher on some other products than West Side market, but the knowledge and rarer selection make up for any difference. Will be back many, many times.

Margo was great! We sample different styles and flavors of cheese based on her recommendation for our charcuterie board. She shared alot of knowledge and was incredibly patient in answering all our questions.

When it comes to cheese, these people know their stuff. A great selection of cheeses including many that they make themselves and age right on site. Their homemade mustard is quite good as well.

I absolutely love going to this cheese shop! Its cozy and chic atmosphere make it the perfect place to meet up with your friends for brunch, pick up a delicious sandwich on crunchy baguette, or try any of their scrumptious varieties of cheese!

Theyre going to have an aged cheddar thats been wrapped in a bacon fat-soaked cloth! They also offer cheese tastings/flights of cheese starting at $15/person. Alcohol isnt allowed on their premises, not even customer-supplied. The retailer offers complementary products such as mustard and olives too.

Those folks are absolutely the nicest, could not have been more interested in sharing samples and information about their stock. Will definitely be going back and encouraging others to check them out.

Visited the Old Brooklyn Cheese Co. on Pearl Rd, a few doors down from the post office. It was almost 4 P.M. closing time is 5 P.M. on Saturday. Sign on door read that they ran out of bread, so they cant make anymore sandwiches. We tasted a few cheeses, bought a few cheese wedges on average about 4 oz. -each cost about $5, a small salami roll $14, and a tall jar of pickles $8. Our bill was $45.00! In short, great idea, lots of yummy things, but in all fairness, prices are way too high, and I suspect that if they dont lower their price point on cheese and other inventory, this place will not last. This is Old Brooklyn, Ohio, not New York. I will revisit for a sandwich (order early), and when they get a liquor license for wine, Ill stop in for a taste and a cheese board, but thats about it. You have to try it at least once.

First of all, super refreshing to walk into a beautiful, awesome place in Old Brooklyn. Ive never had better cheese in my life. Ive spent more money on regular cheese at the grocery store. The owner is soooo nice and extremely knowledgeable and helpful, funny, and genuine. And a plus that this place is helping revitalize Old Brooklyn. They also have cool tshirts. And they sell some amazing jam (literally the best Ive ever had in my life) and they have sandwiches that are to die for.

This is the best place in Cleve!and to get cheese, sandwiches, olive oil, and a ton of other stuff. Help celebrate their 1 year anniversary.

What a fantastic little find! Talk about knowledge, these people understand their cheeses and are not shy to tell you all about them! We had a 3 cheeses plate to eat at the store and left it up to them to pick. We got Lake Erie Goat Perls, Kokoborrego Headwaters and Mayfield Creamery Siberian Night (all 3 were awesome).Definetly pay these guys a visit, you will not regret it. They have over 50 different cheeses at all times and are more than welcome to give you tastes in case you wanna try something specific. The majority are from local producers which gives you another reason to buy from them, support your local business!!!They also have meats (Charcuterie), Coffee, Pickles and Locally made Condiments!We will definitely be coming back and try more different varieties!!!l

More cheese, pleaseeee! Thanks to our caterer, mike, from thyme catering, I discovered Brooklyn cheese and OMG. I loved working with Morgan/Michael to create a huge cheese wheel cake for our appetizer display as well as some mini versions for centerpieces on our dinner tables. Brie on Brie on Brie- That’s me!! What else could you really want? But in all seriousness, It was such a fun way to incorporate something we truly enjoy on our wedding day and they made the whole experience pleasant. We went to Their retail location for our “tasting” where we sampled and faux assembled the wheels (because taste + aesthetics= perfect combo, am I right). It was so much fun!! They never rushed us, and they kept us informed on pricing so we were able to be conscious about how much hundreds of pounds of cheese (lol) would be costing us. It was also an added bonus that almost all of their cheese is local to the area. They also had lots of other yummy local treats- go do yourself a favor and check them out! Thanks guys, for adding such a unique touch to our wedding day, you have 2 customers for life!

Craft, local, cheese extraordinaire. In an older store front, imaculatly clean, and organized. Featuring all cheese, their own, other local makers, Ohio cheeses, even a muenster brought by boat (giving it just the right amount of time and terroir to age well). Add to the mix, fresh made sanwitches, locally sourced pickles, jellies, salami, and much more. Truly, a gormets delight.
