I received a call day before to confirm delivery date and approx time frame. Day of delivery the driver called to confirm and set up bed frame and mattress set completely and professional, and removed all rubbish.

I went to the original Mattress Factory to support our local manufacturer. I tested the Mattress what I thought that it is what I need. After they delivered the Mattress it was so hard I couldnt sleep on it. I went back the 2nd morning they said the Mattress in the showroom been there for 2 years, that is why its softer. I am asking if so and you know that why you keep it in the showroom isnt this misleading your customers. If I wanted to change it I had to pay 300 dollars more. I am stuck with this Mattress. I had to buy foam bed sheets so I can sleep on this Mattress.

Called about a warranty on my mothers mattress. They had all the answers I needed for the warranty. Set me up a service appointment for a few days later. The were polite and they new there job. Was very happy with the service.

We needed new mattresses and started shopping around.Lysa at OMF was the most informative sales person and answered all of our questions.The price Lysa quoted us for 2 Queen size systems included delivery, set up and haul away. It also included a 20 year warranty on the mattress and 15 years on the adjustable frame.Lysa told us everything was in stock and all they had to do was manufacture the mattresses.We scheduled the delivery and the day before we received a call in the afternoon that the truck would be here the next day.The delivery men called about 15 minutes before showing up. They were very nice men and did their job quickly and efficiently.Thank you Lysa and all OMF employees for fantastic beds.

I loved the glimpse behind the scenes of how the mattresses are constructed. I appreciated the tour and the customer service and was educated on how and where the wood slacks should be placed to get maximum support. When I called at a later date, a sales rep answered the phone and helped resolve any concern. My mother loved her mattress and it was comfortable and affordable. They are a local company with the factory on site. Many mattress models , something in your price range. No high pressure sales.

Purchased the Orthopedic EuroTop ($1100) because the showroom model was really soft which I desired as a side-sleeper. It had that wonderful, sink right into it feel but still supportive. The bed they delivered was nowhere near as soft - more like a medium firm. Didnt feel anything like the showroom model. So I went back the next day after trying to sleep on it (miserable night) to see if I had misjudged the showroom model. I didnt; showroom model was really soft. Salesman I talked to said I needed to break it in. Well its 3 weeks later and that bed is still medium firm and always will be. I had to purchase a 2 latex topper ($140) which gave me the softness and comfort I needed. I question OMFs quality control measures and will never purchase from them again. And Im certainly not paying 25% to return it for another questionable mattress.

I have had two sets of mattresses on layaway since early last year. The said as Long as I wanted them they would keep it open for me. My daughter and I got to tour the factory and see for ourselves how our mattresses are made. They informed us everything is from here in the USA and assembly was done right in front of us and of you dont do the walk through they have a wall of windows and you can see it for yourself from the showroom. I will be recommending these great people to anyone who wants a New great quality mattress and box springs also. Keep it up folks Im sure youll be in operations for a long time to come.

I was contacted THE DAY BEFORE delivery was scheduled (over a week prior to date) that the Mattress Factory did not have materials required to complete my order. I was given no date of possible completion, nor offer of recompense for the inconvenience.The customer service and pricing is amazing. I would recommend, but just don’t be too attached to your delivery date.

Modern consumers almost always have to accept trade-offs when making purchasing decisions. Original Mattress is a sterling example of an alternative business model, where there is literally no downside to doing business with them. Assuming that is you need a bed. Theyre local, they have exceptional products priced at a healthy value, their service is concierge quality, theyre the total package. Only a self-hating inhabitant of NE Ohio would shop for a mattress elsewhere.

The care and attention that you receive, along with the quality of the mattresses keeps me coming back.This time I needed help selecting an adjustable bed for an ill family member. They were helpful, explained all the options, but didnt pressure me. I feel Im getting a quality bed, and saved money in the process.I highly recommend them.

I recently got my son a new mattress from the Original Mattress Factory for his truck. He drives over-the-road. They drove from Cleveland to Columbus to measure his truck’s bed frame. Once it was ready, they delivered it to Columbus. He said it’s so comfortable. Over the years I have purchased over 7 mattresses from them for my family for their comfort, price, and terrific customer service. I prefer the coils in my mattresses, and get the edges reinforced so they are extra supportive at the edge. Also, they are two-sided! You can flip them. My nephew, who lives in PA, ordered one from them and said it was worth it to drive in from PA; though they would have delivered it. I unequivocally recommend this company.

Ive been coming here for years and I can honestly say from my own personal experience that I am constantly amazed by the way this place is different from everywhere else. The employees treat you like you are family and I really mean that. Absolutely no pressure EVER to buy anything youre not comfortable with, they do however answer any questions you have with 100 percent honesty. The entire process is relaxing and stress free. The quality of their products is second to none! You can even watch the people hand making the mattresses and box springs through the windows to the factory floor! I cant say enough good things about this place but I can assure you that all you have to do is visit the original mattress factory once, and youll be a customer for life! Very good bed the sales lady was good spent a lot of time delvery guys are good the only complaint is when they delvery they don’t respect your driveway they put their heavy trucks on it I called tom to complain he said they always do that’s very bad if you get delvery put a note inn don’t pull in your driveway with truck truck can damage your driveway

After waiting nearly 2 months for a mattress/box spring from Ashley Furniture, we finally drove to The Original Mattress Factory, bought a better set at a lower price and brought it home THE SAME DAY. Great service, easy to do business with, local and convenient. Kicking myself for not going 2 months ago!

The customer service here is fine. Not pushy. Very knowledge. Lets be honest, your bed is by far the most important piece of furniture in your home. Their return policy is that if you end up with a bed that you dont like, you can do what they call a Comfort exchange. You either donate to a recognized donation with receipts, or just bring it to the store and they discard. I did the latter. And you then have to pay25 /. Of the cost of the replacement. Theyll only do this one time.They had my replacement bed made in a week. I picked it up myself. I have had the bed for a few weeks now.This is not meant to be a slam on OMF, but this has been probably the worst retail product buying experience I have ever had. I say its not meant to be a slam on OMF because the bed may be comfortable for someone else. Just not for me.I consistently wake up every morning with lower back pain. There is no such thing as me sleeping in on a Saturday or Sunday.During the week, my wake up times are 1:00 am and 3:00 am. It gets to the point of where I just cant lay there any more.. GET UP NOW.I get up in the morning, get in the shower. Get the water up as hot as I can take it. And try to get my back to loosen up. It normally takes about 1-2 hours before that happens.I currently have a two inch thick piece of foam on the bed thinking I needed more cushion. It hasnt helped either.I bought two twin XLs which makes up our king size bed. Including the adjustable power bases. This total cost was over $4k. So with that being said, the price was a lot more easily accepted than the price we got from the big box stores... Over $7k. I will say that my wife is very pleased with her side. They are two different mattresses.So right now, I am at a complete loss as what I am going to do. Whether it be going to another store and finding a different bed spending more money. I just dont know.So my advice to everyone is take your time when making your purchase. And to the credit of OMF, they encourage that.

Wonderful service from the time you walk into the store to the time you get your mattress at the garage which we chose to take home right then and there. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. They treat you like family. This is the second time we have purchased mattresses there and we will continue to give them our business. Clean store, multiple options to look at and chose from with various prices. You pay for the quality.

April 22, 1999 The last time my wife and I bought a queen mattress set from the original mattress factory.We are ready to buy another set now.

The sales people are incredibly knowledgeable and patient. I did not feel rushed at all or pushed to purchase the expensive mattresses. They listened to my needs and budget and directed me to the mattresses they thought would fit me best.

Exceptional customer service! Tom was extremely knowledgeable and patient. We layed on many different beds for over an hour, and he was informative yet not overbearing with explaining how each mattress is made and the differences between them. We love the original mattress factory! We had been out looking for a twin mattress at other stores and they kept telling us that mattresses today are sturdy enough not to need flipped. That did not sound right to us so we ended up at the original mattress factory. They were so helpful and explained everything to us about mattresses, had displays of the different options and the warranty. When we need another mattress, we will only go back there!

Very disappointing We ordered the same mattress that we had purchased a year ago, and it was totally different. Very little support. It is not the same mattress that we previously purchased. The company wont do anything for us unless we pay 140.00 to transport it back to their store, and then they will take it apart to see if it was manufactured correctly. Especially surprised when so many mattress companies are offering trial periods and Original Mattress Factory does not, and does not want to remedy our situation.

Ive passed this place countless times, and its a really nice place. HOWEVER, its almost to nice to be the ORIGINAL mattress factory in the whole world. Mattresses have been around for centuries, and I have a hard time envisioning people in the ancient world traveling from Greece and the Middle East all the way to what is now Parma Ohio just to get a mattress. If you provide proper documentation, I will concede that you are indeed the ORIGINAL mattress factory. Until then, I must follow my gut and remain a skeptic. Sorry.

I stopped in there recently (because Ive always seen their ad on TV) and was surprised at how little the selection is thats offered there. Seems the majority of the ones they do have are orthopedic? Maybe this is mattress store for people with medical problems? Looking for a hybrid mattress and they only have 1? (non-orthopedic). The quality of the mattresses seemed sub-par.. left without purchasing due to poor selection.

We were pleased with how professional the staff was and their suggestion about where to start with our choice of mattress.

It was fun to see the mattress making process right onsite. I just wanted to buy a pillow, but salesperson continued to show how good the beds were. Im sure they have good beds (some quite pricey).

I wish I can give a negative star we had such a bad experience with this company. I would never never recommend them!!! We accidentally bought the wrong size mattress (twin) when we needed a full. So within the hour of buying we try to go and swap out the sizes they would not take twin back or allow for a refund!!!! so now my family is stuck with a twin size mattress that we don’t need and have to go buy another full. UNREAL, very disappointing, awful customer service

They have great customer service but they try and sell you omething when you walk in. Hey peoples we want to look around first. The guy we talked to need maybe a little more training. But it is really awesome to see the mattresses and boxes being built.

Yay, they make the beds. That is about the only sales pitch that they have. And if your tall and want a memory foam mattress, tough luck!

OMF was great, they didnt pressure me into buying something I didnt need and explained each product thoroughly. However they do finance through Wells Fargo which has been nothing but a nightmare. The only complaint I have has nothing to do with them.

Ive always liked their no-nonsense commercials on the radio and TV, so we decided to buy there. No pressure to upsell, no favored brands, very knowledgeable sales staff, just as advertised. Too soon to comment on the long term life, but I can verify that it has superior support and comfort as compared to a 5 year old, very expensive Serta.

I was able to take a tour of the OMF today given by Tom Kessler. It was absolutely fascinating and I was totally impressed with the quality that goes into these mattresses. I thought the prices were completely reasonable -- much lower than lesser made mattresses. The research and testing this company does on mattresses in order to produce the best mattresses possible was impressive. After seeing these mattresses built from the inside out, I will definitely buy any future mattresses here and wouldnt consider another source.

Bought a mattress in 2012, fast forward to 2019, a small spring protrudes out of the side of the mattress. I dont have the receipt anymore. I called the store, they looked it up for me. They had Tom Vallo call me back about a potential warranty claim. He said they need to come out to look at it, I asked if I could send a picture, he said ok. I sent the pictures the next day, he called me back almost immediately, and said he knew exactly what that was, it was a manufacturing error, and told me when would I like to pick up a new mattress. I went in the following Saturday, was in and out in an amazingly quick time. Awesome job honoring the warranty! 10 year warranty with no proration honored at 7 years, it cost me nothing to get the mattress replaced!
