Gina is the best! The loan-a-tool service gave us everything we needed to replace our car battery but Gina went the extra mile and ensured that our battery replacement & installation went smoothly. She absolutely was not required to do anything beyond giving us the socket wrench but I’m happy that she is a model for great customer service. Hats off to Gina, who is clearly an asset to the staff at this location. Thank you very much!

This review will be short and sweet. Ive been going to this location for a number of years. Every time I go the staff is very friendly and helpful. Most importantly the staff has knowledge. When I asked them for not only items in the store but technical knowledge they seem to have a lot of answers. That speaks volumes because sometimes you go to a store like that and the employees may not be technically 1st in Automotive knowledge.

My car has been running funny, so I went to AutoZone to get it checked out. They let me use their diagnostic meter. It was easy to hook up to my car and get a reading. Afterwards they printed me out a sheet with the information. I also received information on the part I need and its cost.

I was in the store earlier this week to purchase front rotors for my Benz and they were actually the wrong rotors for my make and model. David went above and beyond to make sure I ordered the correct size for my vehicle. He even pulled out a calculator to make sure the dimensions of the rotors online matched the dimensions from my old set of rotors. The customer service is phenomenal at this location. David and Jet are amazing. They both did their best to help me. I was able to find the correct rotors and they were delivered to the store closest to my home. Thank you guys for everything!!

My 1999 Texas (no-rust) suburban with 249,728 miles on it started to act up when going up a hill today (April 25, 2021) so I rushed over to Autozone in Mayfield Heights, Ohio and Met Jet. I told him I might need a fuel filter but he wanted to come outside and make sure it wasnt something else. He was extremely knowledgeable and really wanted to help this 75 year old man. And he did help. Could not have a better experience then the 20 minutes spent with Jet. Calm, cool and collected and did I mention; very very helpful. We settled on a filter and some chemicals, which I installed and the old suburban is running like new.

Overall the store is convenient based on location. This is my first ever review on anything. Its a specific worker in here who is just severely poor social wise. Im an introvert myself so I dont request much anyway but at least a person can be is halfway decent. It doesnt matter if you include please and thank you, this particular worker is just a mean zombie type of dude. Must be kin to James Evans from Goodtimes. Everybody going through something…smh but so what. Dont work in a field like this if your gonna be mean n socially dry.

Once upon a time, I decided to go the cheap route and buy rinky-dink sensors for my ls swap. The first to go was the camshaft position sensor. Then the mass airflow sensor took a dump on me. Went to Autozone (which I should have done in the first place) got what I needed, and Im back on the road. Clearly, a bought lesson is the best lesson.

Mitch and Mike were amazing! My front passenger light was very difficult to change. They ensured me that they would figure it out and to not worry. They went above and beyond until they saw that the light was on. In the cold, they had no complaints and they did not give up. I have a 2017 Rogue. Battery issues! Other opinions has said that I need higher cold cranking amps. I refused to believe i needed a new battery the car is too young. Well same issue again, and this time the Tow driver said my issue is that someone over-tightend the screw on the battery and caused it to have wiggle room which drains the battery. So I called autozone for a new battery, but the Tow Guy said they cant provide what you need! you need to go to the dealership. I being the stubborn person I am went to Autozone anyway, explained to Sam the manager, and he said dont worry I got a fix for that. He Sure did and it cost me >$4.00! He was very kind and helpful he also installed it for me. I owe him many Thanks!! I Had to let everyone know that you get above and beyond service at this Autozone. I have been a customer since 1999 but first time at this location.

I had a check engine light come on in my car which always makes you wonder what’s going on away for Thanksgiving up in Ohio pulled in to the AutoZone store there after calling them and speaking with the store manager Aaron it was an amazing experience from the get-go very concerned customer centric all the people that work in the store all that way I’d highly recommend anybody go in there if you want honesty and help they go above and beyond and they all really like their jobs and it sure comes through when you talk to them about anything you know you’re getting truth!!

Wouldnt replace a battery on a 2012 GMC Terrain said it takes to long and not allowed to do it. in online video it took 3 mins to replace the battery. lousy and rude customer service will not shop at this location again

I cant thank Dave for coming over to the parking lot to replace my battery that exploded on me. You didnt have to leave the store but you did. Jason S you explained everything to me and didnt patronize me because I didnt know what to do. Then when my car was up and running you checked to make sure that everything was in working order. Jason was not being professional when helping me and my husband find an item. He was rude. We returned two items that were a previous told us they were the correct item: how everything, they were incorrect. Jason said there’s one more item left on shelf but he would not help us find that one item. He sent us back three times to look for the item. The entire time we were engaging with him, he appeared as though he didn’t want to help us. Now we are not sure bc he was treating us differently because of a racial issue: however, if it was not racially motivated, it was definitely unprofessional and bad customer service.

Poor service. I purchased a light bulb for my front light and the young boy didn’t even try to put the bulb in my car. I had to drive to my mechanics shop right after and he put the bulb in for me in less than 5min. Normally I don’t have problems with auto zone but I think I went to the wrong one. I normally gotTo the auto zone on lee rd where the men are Always helpful. Two thumbs down for the auto zone on mayfield rd.

Wonderful experience at this store! Sam helped me out and he went above and beyond my expectations. My battery and windshield wipers died on the same day during a terrible winter storm. He ended up changing my battery (which I have a gmc terrain and the battery is a pain to get to) in the middle of the storm. He was also willing to call around to see which stores could help me out with my wipers.

Staff Associate, Michael, was extremely help full. Michael did not pressure me towards a more expensive item when my car needs could be satisfied with the less costly item. We went down the road to auto zone to buy a new one - in the freezing weather made worse by the wind, Lance was so kind. He installed the light, and explained to my son what he was doing and why. Absolutely blown away by the customer service of this place, I can not recommend it enough! My car battery decided to die right before an important trip on a very cold Friday night. Couldn’t even get it to jump start. In a last ditch effort with no tools and very little hope, I went down the road to the Mayfield Heights AutoZone store to buy a new battery. **Jonathan Lee** went out of his way to help me get back on the road, and even offered to drive to my car and personally install my newly purchased battery. He even checked my alternator for free to be on the safe side.These people go above and beyond to help their customers! Jonathan and the rest of the team have my undying gratitude! Bought a bulb for my headlight, the guy who checked me out put it in and I tipped him $10. The people there are great, but not mechanics... You need to know a little bit but they are eager to help you. I might have saved a few bucks over the gas station down the street, or maybe not. But I always like the people, they help in any way they can and theyre available evenings.

THE BEST!while driving and stopping at a store at Mayfield road i realized that my exhaust, all of my exhaust was dragging behind my car. My initial thought was i had to bring it to a garage leave it there and pay a horrendous price. But before i had to go there i needed some thing that my car is in one piece to get there, to the nearest auto-zone was my goal without loosing the darn thing. once i got there they helped me out and not only had a easy solution to my problem but helped me to reattach the exhaust in just minutes.If you are looking for excellent customer service and good prices this store is your go to.10 out of 5 stars

My check engine light came on and I stopped there to have it checked. Sam checked things for me and it came up inconclusive. He gave me suggestions including taking it to my dealership.Jet heard me calling for a tow and asked to see the report. He tried a couple of things based on his experience and it worked.The lights went off and the car is driving well. Will still take to dealership tomorrow but at least I can make it through today with confidence. I cant sing the praises of these gentlemens efforts enough!!

First off the staff here is amazing, very helpful, witness a lady change someones wiper blades or battery (couldnt tell was too cold out to pay that close of attention) in freezing temperatures thats dedication. We knew what we wanted but talking with the staff their jokes made the evening even better. Would return if items were needed and I was in the area.

This Autozone stays open till 8 on Sundays which beats the chesterland one. Was able to run in and get a bulb at 730pm. Cant beat the convenience and how fast and friendly the service was. Good store and the people seemed to know their stuff

Two older men around 7:50 pm were extremely rude for no reason. Their tone was snarky and condescending right when I walked in. The older gentlemen with glasses started the rudeness, followed by his associate. If you cant give proper customer service, find another occupation please, because this experience almost made me stop giving this company my business. The only reason Ill keep going here is because the store is right next to my house and Ive had better service from other associates. However, these two associates left me feeling extremely angry and frustrated.

I walked in and was stared down by an older gentleman who was not busy doing anything, yet there was a line of customers. I ignored the stare and asked if they had a part that I needed. He did show me where the part was located. He criticized a customer who was in the line who left apparently frustrated with the wait. Then when I went to check out he and another older gentleman were criticizing an earlier customer of the day for getting frustrated with one or both of them. Better people skills are needed.

I highly recommend this Autozone. The heat went out in our car, had to purchase a blower. My husband looked on YouTube for guidance on fixing it...The part under normal circumstances should have taken 10 minutes to change. But, the screws were in a hard to reach place in the glovebox.The representative from Autozone came outside to save the day. He removed the screws and changed the part and we were on our way. Thank goodness it wasnt freezing cold...

I want going to leave a review because the manager eventually made the situation right but I want to put my experience out there as a caution to others, especially females.Had them read my check engine light and was told it was the canister purge valve. I wanted to know if they had the part so a tall black man checked and with tax it was $45 plus he said he could recommend a good mechanic. I bought the part and asked him where the mechanic was located and he pointed to the employee next to him.That man told it would be $40 and I stupidly made a snap decision to go ahead and consent to let him do the repair. He didnt seem to look like he knew what he was doing, but managed to switch the part in about 20 minutes. (That comes out to $120 an hour labor cost?) He then erased the code and I went on my way.A few days later my check engine light came on again so I pulled into a place in Eastlake to have it read. It was the canister purge valve. I told him I had just had it replaced a few days ago and he recommended to only go to a mechanic I felt I could trust.I called the Mayfield store and asked for the manager. I explained what happened and asked if his mechanic was certified and he tried to tell me it was probably one of the Midas mechanics from next door who often come into the shop. I told him the guy had been minding the register and was told the the Midas men would often go back there. I told him that the guy was wearing an Autozone shirt and again asked if that employee was a certified mechanic. The manager seemed reluctant but had a change of heart once he was backed into a corner. He told me to come up there with the receipt and he gave me a full refund; on the part and labor.The manager did make it right and I can only say that there were no Midas employees there that day so I cant say that what he told me was wrong. But neither of the 2 men working the front that day were honest with me so you might be rolling the dice if you go to that location; especially if youre a trusting female.

I went to the Som Center Autozone to recharge my AC that hasnt been working right. Bought the $53 gauge and freon bottle just to find out my car was overcharged. I then asked how I take freon out or decompress it and the two guys there seemed disinterested in leaving the air conditioned store to help me out. Looked it up I only need a screwdriver and a rag could of done it there quickly and got it done with but instead was sent home because they were too lazy to help or lend me a simple tool. Dont go there if youre not a car expert yourself.
