Never had a bad interaction here. Knowledgeable and interested staff. A little tough to get some things since its a smaller store. I much prefer here than Kissimmee, even though its 100% out of my way.

Took in some Stance socks with DC Comics characters I could not identify. They took the time to help me out knowing no money would change hands. Very polite. Super clean, well stocked store.

I have always gone to comic shops, a little over 3 decades now, lol. This place is the real deal, totally legit. They have an AMAZING selection, a LOT more than I ever expected. I came from Miami and was totally bummed out we didnt have a shop, but then I found this gem! Everything is fairly priced, its much bigger with a great selection of things that are pretty hard to find, and the customer service is awesome.Idk if its a thing or whatever, but Ive had some pretty bad experiences at comic shops. Thats nowhere to be seen here, everyone is super nice and engaging. They even reached out to my 4 year old and that really touched me (most employees dont care enough to do that). That little act of kindness moved me way over the top in making this my go to store.Plus they have a LOTTA events, giving it a real center-of-commmunity type of feel. Give it a shot, they deserve your business!

I havent been in a comic book store in ages but it decided to go in and see what was up I bought a couple comics place was nice clean atmosphere with quiet relaxing the only two things Ill say was nobody behind the registers smiled once even though they were very informative it was still a little bit of an awkward exchange.... And the place was a little smallBut nothings perfect they were nice guys though Im not saying anything bad about them they were polite and nice they just looked unhappy LOL just my opinion though doesnt mean theyll be unhappy if you go in

Lacking inventory! Your betterOff going to the one in Millinia in Orlando, They are much better and knowledgeable with everything. Also the people in there do not have any kind of customer service. In times like this, customer service is key to having loyal customers. I rather go to another shop like the one in Millenia or look up ACME comics, That is a gem of a store and their customer service is excellent

Kinda sad that they need trash talk other local comic stores online to try and make themselves feel better. This store is also renowned for price gouging they’re Pokémon products.

Nice staff that are willing help you any way they can. I got a LOT of stuff on my pull list an every Monday or Tuesday I get a call saying my books are on hold.A fun place to kill 30 minutes an $30.

This is one of the best comic shops I’ve ever been too. All of the staff is friendly and helpful. They have a wide range of comics, games, toys and collectibles. They also offer a stamp reward card that earns you discounts after you earn 10 stamps.During covid they also stepped up and made to safe for customers and staff alike by requiring masks to enter the store. Not only that, but they also sell comic and other pop culture themed masks! To all the naysayers that are hating on the masks, please either wear a mask or shop somewhere else. My wife, mother and mother in law are all high risk for Covid and I don’t need you selfish people risking their lives because you don’t believe in science.Keep up the great work guys! Coliseum is the best comic shop in Lake county!

The staff are friendly and they have a wide variety of items. My funko pop and Dr Strange lovin daughter found her perfect finds on her first trip. We will be back!

I used to shop here a lot but haven’t been by in a while. I came in to do some Christmas shopping. I had a list of items to purchase for my daughter for Christmas. Instead of being welcomed in and shown all the new stuff, I’m told to wear a mask.Hard pass. Amazon it is I guess. Amazon doesn’t greet me either but at least they don’t demand a mask.If you are this afraid, close the store. Making your customers feel bad and calling them out in front of everyone isn’t the correct way either. I see the comments below also when others voiced an opinion.It’s shame because it is so close to my home. On the other hand, I’m glad they are making so much money they can let customers walk out the door. Kudos to that!

Nice store for new items, nothing vintage in the whole joint.

Had pre-ordered Pokemon cards months ago for shining fates release when they called me I went to pick up my cards and they had raised the price over 500% above retail a $20 Pikachu box had turned into $120. All other boxes were also price gouged hundreds above retail. I ended up leaving with only one box that stayed at retail value. Some of the worst price gouging Ive ever seen. I was told the prices when I pre-ordered and they were all at retail at the time. Will never pre-order from coliseum of comics again.

Not the best experience. It was Batman day and I was buying Batman comics, I wasn’t offered any of the joker war tag along stuff and when I tried to show my excitement for the three joker series I was brushed off. I rather drive the hour to a different comic shop if that’s how customers are “taken care of”. Happy Batman day, I’ll take my celebrations elsewhere. . .

A great new little hidden gem I stumbled upon in Clermont. Not as big as its sister stores but still a great selection.

Ive gone there several times to purchase board games. They carry a great selection of games and the staff is helpful and knowledgeable about them as well. Great shop. I highly recommend them.

The selection of tabletops, board games, and comics is very good. Service was even better, and Jennifer was very knowledgeable. She helped me quickly and I even stayed to chat about the Descent into Avernus I had just purchased. Overall, now my favorite location for dice, books, and supplies.

Great place to find what your looking for.

Coliseum of Comics in the Orlando Fashion Square Mall has been our families go-to spot for comics for awhile. The owner is very nice and very knowledgeable about everything that is in the store. He also supports indie comics, which is an added bonus. Now that weve moved to Lake County, we are lucky to live near this Coliseum of Comics, with the same owner!The store is very well organized and very clean. Sometimes when I go to a comic book store, I am either ignored by the staff, or I feel like Im not up to snuff because I am not an all-knowing comic book fan. Not the case here. They are warm and welcoming, but not hovering. The staff will discuss comics and games with you if you like and they will give you recommendations without ever making it seem like a bad thing that you dont know which issue Batman died in, of which various story line, with which artist drawing him. (Okay, I dont know if that ever happened....but I hear people talking about these things, so Im going with it.) My point is, this is the store for those who love comics, those who like comics, and those who just want to know what all this comic stuff is about!

New comics and more

I meant to write this review a few days ago, but have just now gotten around to it. I dont write reviews online, but in this case, I feel like I have to! The staff here was so knowledgeable without being patronizing. The girl who helped me ( I think her name tag said Jen or Jenniffer or something like that?) was able to answer all of the questions that I had, or refer me to a source for those that she couldnt. Will definitely be coming back!

A bit small but a great place that has an awesome staff. Came here after a convention and saw a D&D game going in the back and a helpful associate at the register. She answered any questions I had and was a pleasure to talk to. Would go there again.

Wish they have better issues on the wall. Ive been other CoC stores that has better and more demand issues on the wall.

Awesome shop. Stopped in here for the first time when I had a few minutes to kill. Back issues did not disappoint. Snagged a couple to adorn the walls of my office, and sipped a beer and read them next door at Luckys.

My son (8) loves going in. They are always helpful and patient and treat him like an adult. So far, we only purchase Pokemon and Funko Pop items, but they have everything!

This is a great comic shop. Great collection of new and old comics. Tons of card and board games. The shop is also very well lit and laid out smartly. All the employees are knowledgeable and you will often seen the owner hanging out and helping customers. It has a great mom and pop feel even though it is a chain. There is also plenty of parking and plenty of other stores and restaurants to visit while you stop in and buy some comics. The Free Comic Book Day event was run very smoothly and never felt too crowded or rushed.

This is a comic book store. Okay, it has bins that you can shift thru and comics on shelves that are neat to look at. I only visited once and despite the service being shy (which is fine by me) i want to go back and spend every dollar just to solicit and scroll thru their archives.

Found comic i wanted

Great space for various weekly events they host, not a massive stock but seems to have enough to get you started in most of the current popular games.

Staff are always friendly and informative and if for some reason they dont have something youre looking for they find a way to get it.

I enjoy having a comic book store near my home out here on the outer rim, but I really, really, love having it be a Coliseum of Comics. I have been a customer since they were just a lonely shop on O.B.T. (NOT the one next to the vacuum shop on the corner of Holden, Im talking about the one between 41st and 42nd streets) and have been treated with the utmost kindness, respect, and quality of service since. Thats over 20 years gang. Thats a long time to keep up doing an amazing job...and its not just in the flagship store, Im talking in ALL OF THEM. I know, Ive shopped in all of them. The staff at the Clermont outpost continue the fine tradition of quality customer service that I have come to rely on. I love this company and I love this place....and thats all Im gonna say bout that.

Honestly just an all around great place, if youre nearby its definitely worth at least checking out. They have everything you could want, the place is clean and well kept, they cater to everyones needs, and they still manage to make you feel right at home. They also run RPG and board gaming nights that are open to everyone!

Its one of the only great spots for comics and games in the area. Staff is helpful, a great selection of books and games, and some snacks too.

Staff is great and friendly but one thing. I was very excited when I finally heard they were opening on my side of town. Problem is, the place is very limited in size therefore don’t carry much in stock. It’s a shame because each time I ask for something, they don’t have it but offer ordering my item. Well no, thanks I can order items myself or better yet head to the store in either Millenia or Kissimmee for much more variety. Perhaps you may consider expanding in the near future. I’ll still continue to support as last resort.

It is a small shop, and its mainly focused on newer books which is great for the kids. I wish it had more older stock, but the staffs friendly and they do have a great selection of new stuff.

If youre looking for comics, youre in the right shop. Widely available selection of recent issues and no shortage of back issues. Theyve also got board games, TCGs and D&D books&accessories. CoC has table space for playing tcgs as well, check in to find out which games are on what days.And if you shop here frequently they do have a stamp card for your purchases.

Outstanding place. The only gaming store around with some open gaming time on Saturdays. Friday night boardgames are always awesome- Go Cylons!!
