My mother, little brother and I all had a great time. Very peaceful and beautiful ride. Horses were wonderful and a joy to ride with. The handlers and tour guides were very helpful and informative on the handling of the horses and history of the land. We will be coming again.

We had a great time, Misty was leading us with her horse and I just happened to be riding behind her. I was nervous in the beginning, but they informed me how good horses behaved. All I can say is they know their horses very well, also very informative on sights along the trail. We had a great time with great company 😃

We loved this experience! I can’t wait to do it again. The staffs detailed attention to the horses behaviors are wonderful. They are so good to the public and they will take every step towards a safe and enjoyable experience.

Took my daughters and friends over the weekend for my oldest 10th birthday, I must say this was absolutely one of the best memorable experiences ever. The kids haven’t stop talking about it yet …. The staff were so patient with dealing with all 7 of the kids. Super friendly and fun… The horses are soo adorable oh how we just loved Star, GG and Reba ….We’ll definitely be going again. Amazing experience for my family. My daughter always wanted to ride a horse. With no experience riding a horse we booked a ride at Lake Louisa State Park. I cannot express how nice the staff were to us. We had a age range from 10yo to 55yo and they were accommodating to everyone. They made us feel comfortable and when my sister was anxious about her horse they went the extra mile and switch her horse just to make her feel better. They are attentive, kind and clear with the instructions and safety talk. I’m really happy about all the experience. Plus they take care of the horses and don’t exploit them, the horses look healthy and are really friendly. I extremely recommend this place. Keep in mind that the trail is a slow walk in the woods.

Houseback trail rideWhat a wonderful experience, from the easy booking system to the actual ride. Misty, John and Ardith were so welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. I was a little nervous, but Misty knew how to put me at ease, they also picked the horse that would be best suited for each of us.This is a great trail ride for beginners and experienced riders, they have 1- and 2-hour rides. Whilst on the ride, my daughter said “can we do this again’ we will surely be visiting again and doing the 2-hour ride next time. If you’re looking for something to do around central Florida, make sure you check this place out, it’s only 40 mins from downtown Orlando.

My wife and I stayed from Saturday to Monday in October. Very peaceful and quiet. Very nice fishing docks on lakes. Easy walking around the campground.

Awesome time! Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Brought my 10 year old for her birthday and they really made her day special! Will definitely be going back. Great place!

I had my ride on May 25th, 2021 at 12:30 p.m and had a most wonderful time! The two young ladies who were our guides were the best!! They were friendly, professional, helpful, patient and informative. I would definitely take the ride again. If there is anything I have an issue with it is the way we had to dismount. Please allow people to use a stirrup to dismount if that is what they are accustomed to doing. Also, older people are more likely to need a leg to stand on.😊Now I will tell you about the horses. I spent time with all of the horses and they were all affectionate and gentle. My horse was a Tennessee Walker named Cornbread. He was gentle and very well trained. I only had to move the reins the smallest amount and he responded. I would request Cornbread if I took this ride again. I give a big THANK YOU to the guides who made this a memorable ride and also took very professional photos of us all at the end of the ride. I highly recommend this activity! Thanks again!

Guided horse riding is what you must not miss. Guides are super nice and safety is their top priority followed by fun. That was our first-time ride and my 12-year-old son was most excited. We plan to do that again with our family and friends.

Had an amazing time with Argen on the full Moon Paddle kayak experience. She showed us exactly what to do & made us feel extremely confidant & comfortable kayaking with gators. The night couldnt have been any better with that moonrise over the lake. Very relaxing & she gave us a nice history lesson on the state park as well. I would highly recommend 👌 as it was a wonderful experience Ill never forget.

Our Segway guided tour of 8/13/2021 was an outstandingly positive experience for my 15 year old grandson and myself. The whole experience from online reservation and affordable payment through checkin, instructions for riding a Segway, practice for riding the trail and the guided trail ride was very pleasant, scenic and interesting. Our guide was professional and provided many interesting details and stories about about the park. The Segway machines were easy to quickly learn to ride and were amazingly comfortable and natural to handle through the trail. I recommend this tour to everyone interested in exploring Lake Louisa State Park.

The horseback riding is a wonderful option at Lake Louisa State Park. I used to own a horse and ride there years ago, so I was excited to see that they offer trail rides now. I went last week and had a blast. Well-trained horses and lovely trails. I enjoyed it so much that I plan to return regularly.

Loved the guided tour! I can not wait to go back again for a 2 hr tour! The wranglers were great AND accommodating! Very pleased with my experience.

We love visiting Lake Louisa State Park! We’ve camped in a regular tent in the past and just recently glamped for this time, it was amazing! Camp fire, grills a covered picnic table and a huge tent already set up with lights and a queen size bed! My family loved it. We’ve also been canoeing here and horseback riding. Always a good time! Don’t forget to bring off just incase

Great access to lots of sports & things to do. Most of any State Park we’ve been too. Well run, clean, nice lady in camp store. Check out the Historical town of Clermont too. Campsite layout was not the best. Pull through sites were just off the road into park... Backin ones were better.... However on making reservations, we checked out a couple that were & reserved it.

I cannot tell you how disappointed I am with the horseback riding company’s running late policy and “inability” (aka choice) to make exceptions for circumstances beyond our control- especially considering the cost of this experience and availability of competition in the area. AND they will not offer you a refund. It’s my anniversary with my husband, this was a surprise gift so I wasn’t privy to any info prior- only that the ride started at 1. We had to coordinate with family to get a babysitter for our 1 year old the day after Christmas. We arrived between 12:45-12:50 and were told we’d have to reschedule. I attempted to reason with “Mandi”, explaining our unique situation, but she refused to make any exceptions for a 1pm ride bc we had missed the safety talk. Being an experienced rider, I imagine this could’ve been accomplished in a very short amount of time- especially as there were still approx 4 people in front of us that still needed to mount their horses which they were doing 1 at a time. They didn’t appear to be short staffed. I admit we should’ve been there at 12:30, but when factoring in the number of extenuating circumstances and the unique nature of this being a surprise gift to me and therefore wasn’t privy to all the necessary info, I feel strongly that this company should’ve been able, or chosen to be able, to make an exception for myself and my husband on our anniversary. Take it from us, if you’re not 30 minutes early, you’re “late.” They will not make any exceptions no matter your situation. This just isn’t a company I would ever want to do future business with. Buyer beware.

I went for a hike here a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it! My only critique is that I wish there was a way to book horseback riding tours online rather than having to call. But the park really is beautiful!

I absolutely love bringing the family here. Theres always something for everyone. My personal favorite are the horses and camping, but was amazed to find hiking and kayak tours as well! The horses are gorgeous and well taken care of. We will definitely be visiting many times in the future!

This is one of my all-time favorite state parks! With tons of hiking trails, kayak rentals, and guided horse trails (my favorite!), there’s so much to do with the family! Plus, the staff their is super friendly. I’d highly recommend a day trip here!

Having a guided Trail ride is an awesome experience. It is sooo informative and absolutely beautiful out there. You really feel prepared even if you have no experience with horses. I also cant wait to try an guided kayak tour.

We had an amazing glamping trip and horseback ride while we were here. Such a unique thing to do, and everything was perfect! We’re can wait to come back!

It’s amazing how many activities and tours this place has!!! Check out the horse back riding tours, the kayak tours, and even the hike tours!!! Take the day to go fishing on several of the piers, or even rent a kayak, canoe, bike, and paddle boards! This place has the best customer service and will definitely be my favorite place to spend the day!

Love taking my kids on adventures and Lake Louisa is one of our favorite local places togo!!! So much to do while camping or even day visits! Theres kayaking, fishing, unique trails, an awesome play ground, beauitiful lake beach to swim in, we always have fun!!

Lake Louisa State Park is a wonderful place to spend the day outdoors enjoying nature with family and friends.

My family and I had an awesome time doing the guided horseback riding trail. They had a lot of interesting knowledge about the ecosystem and wildlife in the area, and made riding a horse really easy for a first timer such as myself. I highly suggest doing this if you want to get out in nature and have an easy horseback riding experience
