Asked for a basic setup on a T style guitar, which was quoted $45 and done in 2 days. 2 days later charges $65 for extra work which was not necessary. After checking the guitar, it was not setup correctly with fret buzz on multiple frets. This resulted in taking it back and waiting another day to get it correctly done. Even after all this, the frets still had buzz and the strings were not cut correctly, my sister who does not play guitar could have done better. The store is not very busy but the chatty workers spent so much time with guests that you end up waiting 15 min or longer every time you visit. I dont like writing such harsh reviews but do not want anyone else to go through the hoops just for basic guitar setups, would recommend seeking another place.

Do NOT, rent instruments for school! I tried to rent a flute for my daughter who is 11 years old from Jackson Music. First they run a credit check then they wanted me to pay around $500 over a period of time & still not own the flute! I went to the Music Stop bought the same quality flute for $100 with case.

You almost get lost in the AWE of collectibles they have acquired over the years, each one has a story, and they are more than happy to tell it. You cant deny the passion they have for music to put that much effort into their dedication and knowledge of all things groovy to your ears.

This place is owned by a Mr. Terry Rosinger. He is extremely knowledgeable on everything from vinyl (including extremely rare finds) to instruments. The staff there are extremely courteous and will make you feel like family before you leave. I would recommend this place to any music enthusiast because that is what you will find here.

Lots of neat memorabilia - The guys were friendly enough but...theres way too many signs like Dont touch...Please ask for assistance... It made me wonder, What kind of music shop is this? It really made me miss Guitar Center where I can play really wonderful guitars all day long with no one bothering me.Also, there werent a lot of guitar parts available. The sales dude kept saying that he could order it for me. But honestly, I can do that on Amazon or other websites. This is the kind of place you go to hang out with some dudes that you like but its not really geared to sales and for me it wasnt really fun to visit at all.
