I want to compliment one of your employees that worked the gas station tonight. After pumping gas my car wouldnt start. He came out to check on me and offered to jump my car off when he got off work. When he closed at 10PM he did just that. Thanks to him I was able to get home safely. All I know is his name is Greg.

While I’d say Fresh Market is probably my favorite grocery store overall, this particular Harris Teeter across from Tanglewood in Clemmons is probably my favorite single grocery store location. Everyone that works there is friendly, they have great produce, great meats and seafood, and the deli during the day is great. They carry lots of sauces I can’t find at other stores and have a Huge pasta selection. I like the location and just overall enjoy the vibe in this store. Hope it’s around for a long time

Went to HT in Clemons today (9-2-21). I only saw two HT employees wearing masks. Even the people working in the deli were maskless. What is going on? This is so concerning especially since my husband is very immunocompromised and my grandson is too young to be vaccinated.

Really good customer service and super clean and well-organized store. It can be pricey at normal prices but a lot of their sales are really good and the items tend to be of high quality. I just got ground beef 93% lean for $3 a pound and a Harris teeter brand 32-oz supreme pizza for $4.50. above average selection of international foods as well for a mainstream grocery store.

Their rain checks now expire in 90 days.Very poorly designed checkout lanes. They are far too narrow. You will get bumped by the shopping cart of the customer in the lane next to you if the cashier is not diligent. Thats my only complaint.Many times their sales, especially buy two get three free, are a better value than Costco. Note that a VIC card is required to qualify for the sale price. The card is free.Store is clean and staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I just wish that millennials knew how to do arithmetic. Lol. Its worth paying cash and giving a penny or a dollar above what is required (e.g. a $10 and $1 bill plus a penny for a receipt totalling $5.56) just to see the look on their face when they try to understand why one might do that.The Starbucks is in the store. Not a fan of their coffee, but nonetheless its there if you need a quick pick me up via caffeine and a snack.The bread for the sub sandwiches, which are made to order next to the deli counters sushi section, is pretty good (Ive only had the wheat) though the crust is a bit too soft, but to me better than Subway and Jersey Mikes. Limited toppings relative to Subway, but more than Jersey Mikes. Turkey and ham are the only meats available. Bit depressing considering all of the options that are just a few feet away. I guess its a matter of efficiency.

Overpriced, tiny store that broke the law for 3 months in 2020 by saying that they would not enforce the governors mask mandate. Now the CDC says no mask is optional for VACCINATED people, and less than 6 in 10 people in NC are vaccinated. So Food Lion and Publix are still enforcing the mask mandate, to their credit. Harris Teeter is not doing so. Even their employees are not masked. We are so done with them. They are all touchy-feely in their ads about how much they supposedly care about the community. Yeah, right. They dont care if their shoppers die by being exposed to unnecessary and potentially deadly germs.

Every Harris Teeter everywhere is a marvelous experience. I visit for shopping the specials and occasional slice of best pizza.

This is one of the big HT stores in the area. Not the friendliest people compared to other HTs but huge selection

It is a great Harris teeter, and I recommend the gas station.

They have good sales every now and again, but for my family of 7 their prices are just too high. It is a very nice store if you are willing to pay for the atmosphere.

The store is clean, VIC deals are really great. Although the employees are rather snobby & the self checkouts... Just rude as hell. Obnoxious is a better word. I just go for the Vic specials other than that theyre way too pricey. Maybe thats why they look down upon people LOL

Great produce and brands has a wide variety

Thought I would try Harris Teeter again to see if the safety protocols had improved. Still have employees with no mask at all and customers disregarding space between us. I was actually bumped several times by people reaching around me for products. Really? You cant give me space and keep yourself and me safe? I only came because I needed fruit and veggies that is impossible to get shoppers to select for you. No wonder we are in the predicament with such sad Covid numbers. Please be careful of our community members of ALL ages. I think I will try Publix next.

Cadence checked me out today. She went above and beyond to give great customer service. This, as well as a wonderful selection is why HT is my go to for groceries.

Called to see when the deli closes & was told 8:30pm . Got there around 7:45pm & deli staff said it was “too late” because they started cleaning up at 7pm. Closing time is closing time. We should have been served.

I really like that the meat department sells Prime cuts of meat and not just Choice. Other places you can only buy Choice cuts but here at Harris Teeter they give you the option to get the better Prime cut if you want and of course who wouldnt want the best 100% of the time?

The older lady with glasses and curly hair working at customer service is extremely rude! I do alot of business there and normally the staff is really great but she was extremely rude when asked her to break a twenty dollar bill for smaller bills.

Harris Teeter isnt my normal place to do the shopping but sometimes you make due with what is available. Harris Teeter is clean, well stocked and the staff is very nice and helpful.

My favorite local grocery! They have an extensive produce section thats always fresh, and the deli/bakery sees plenty of my patronage. Theyve also got a large salad bar and Asian bar that are nicely prepared and well tended. Ive never tried the in-store Starbucks but they always have a lot of business. Super friendly employees.

This is my second experience with a Harris Teeter store. I LOVE Tanglewood Commons! Their weekly specials are AMAZING! I cant wait for Wednesday to see their new specials. The store is clean, wide aisles and well stocked. Love the layout. I have to use an electric cart due to a bad knee, and I am ALWAYS helped to my car without my asking! Bags are unloaded into the trunk, and cart is returned to the store by a polite employee. All employees that I have dealt with are caring, concerned people that are most willing to help and to see that I get the best value for my money. Produce is outstanding! I have lived in NC for almost 5 years, and Harris Teeter is my go-to grocery. The only problem I have is maneuvering the handicap cart around tight spaces usually made smaller by cardboard displays, or in the health/ cosmetics department. Other than that, A+

Harris Teeter Grocery Stores are beautiful! Excellent produce, meats and gorgeous cut flowers! No membership fee but to get the best deals sign up for a card.

A good Harris Teeter...set up alittle different but I found the area got what U needed. Looked at the meats..well stocked and all looked great. Everything seemed well stocked. And several asked if I needed help. Liken said just a good HT.

They carry my favorite frozen vegetables. Green Giant Antioxidant Vegetables. Many stores dont. And theyre always at a reasonable price.

I shopped at this store since they opened over 30 years ago. I will NEVER set foot in there again !!! I stopped by after visiting with my parents. Picked up a box of wine and then went to self serve check out to buy it. A cashier validated my birth date.... I paid for the wine... but a younger cashier stood in front of the wine and manager John said I could pick it up the next day. The older cashier sniffed me and said” oh yeah.... you’ve been drinking!”.... they told me they couldn’t let me drive.... the young cashier says “ I’ll call you an Uber and even pay for it!”.... I called my roommate to come get me- even though I’d only had 2 glasses of wine in 4 hours- ... I needed to move my car, so the young cashier went outside with me and told me that she wouldn’t let me drive... for me to give her my keys and sit in the passenger seat... then she got in my car and actually sniffed my water bottles in the cup holder!! How humiliating 😔🙄

Outstanding in every respect

Great selection, lousy service. My first time in this store, have shopped others and loved them. I had to ask 4 separate employees where a certain item was. They all said “I don’t know” and went about their business. I finally found a manager who helped me find the item. I spent $600, but had to bag my own groceries. I was going to get a store card for discount, they wanted my DL. I asked what for. I was told “ we don’t sell the info, but people give fake names like Donald Duck, so I have to enter your DL number.” Who cares what name people get a store card under unless they want to sell your personal information. I said I didn’t want a card and was going to leave the full cart, but she said I could use the stores card, I would never get gas discounts. It took me 30 minutes to bag my own groceries, there was only one check out open other than self check. HT has a great selection, but Food Lions prices are much better and they’ll order something if I want. The customer service is not even close. Food Lion has people standing, waiting to help you find something or open a new register. Very disappointed, but glad to know I have other options that are friendly.

Regular visit to Harris Teeter. It was really busy but everyone was sweating masks that I saw. It was right on the edge for social distancing.

First time ever being here was great. Everyone is very friendly and very nice, even the people who stock the shelves. When I went there with my 2 children there was someone whom helped me with the cart to my car. I have never had that anywhere else. We will be back!! Prices are really reasonable as well.

5 * + rating excellent customer service van when I needed Got Talent got out prices were good thank you Harris Teeter management employees staff were making our Pit Stop enjoyable one we got to get to the Tanglewood Festival of Lights early. I will be back to this Harris Teeter very soon. I have no complaints at all. Everything was awesome.

Dislocation is friendly and they will assist you if you need it. They have what you need? But the price is high. The do have sales buy 2 get 3 free that is a prime time to stock the shelves.

I love the layout of this store which sets it apart from others. All the items you need are very easy to find and the important things like produce and beer and wine are all up front and easy to grab. They have a great selection of local and hard-to-find items here as well. Great staff and friendly service.

Although the parking lot and drive are under construction, it is a clean store. Great produce, salad and Asian food bars! Of course, I have to get a Starbucks coffee to sip while Im shopping!

Its alright. Some of the customers are really snooty. I left after another customer berated me for accidentally touching her cart. As if I was going to steal something from her that she didnt own anyway. (Until you go through check out, the store owns it.) Nasty old lady. Publix is much nicer and the people are, too.

This HT Store Manager DEFINED excellent customer service!I had called the floral department ahead of time to verify that someone would be on hand Sunday a.m. to fill a larger-than-usual balloon for me that needed helium. When i showed up the floral dept was not open (not a surprise) so I approached a manager who was at front-of-store and asked how to go about getting a balloon filled. He was so nice and helpful! He said I can do that! and walked with me to the floral dept. He filled the balloon, apolgizing that hed have to charge me more than the usual due to size of balloon. That was completely expected and in fact what he charged me was half what Party City had quoted. As he filled it he chatted amicably about helium as a natural resource. He had to search about to find string and a weight (which was his idea; i didnt request) which he did not charge extra for. He told me what to tell the cashier so that wed be charged correctly but then offered to go with me to assure there were no hassles or delays. This is the kind of old fashioned service from store managers that we dont see enough of in this day and age when theyre so busy with paperwork and administratrivia!
