My favorite Goodwill by far! The store is clean and the clothes smell really good. You don’t have to dig through broken or damaged items. We always find good stuff here. Highly recommend!

First, let me say that I love going to Goodwill stores all over the country in search of treasures. And I also understand that mistakes can be made. But a recent experience leaves me hoping the organization will make a change to existing policy.I purchased a furniture item to pick up the next day after the sales associate said it wouldnt be a problem and to just keep my receipt. I returned the next day with a vehicle large enough to transport the item only to find it had been sold again to another person who had taken it out of the store. Again, I had already paid for the item and had my receipt in hand. Of course, they refunded the money, but this was a piece I had been trying to find for a while for a project, so it was very disappointing.I did contact the store and suggested that they remove sold items from the floor and I hope they will do so in the future. I will definitely continue to stop in, but hopefully there qont be any more double sales in the future.

Been going here for nearly 15 years. Staff is great. Selection is usually great. Prices are very good. Place is clean, inside and out. My only complaint would be that sometimes the line backs up something awful and I will notice several employees walking around that could probably man the second register. Still, a great shopping experience that I can highly recommend.

This store has one of the rudest,most unprofessional and hateful cashiers that it has ever been my misfortune to have to try to deal with. Definitely will not be returning to this location

Goodwill is back to normal now. Customers can try on clothes after looking at a large assortment.

Absolutely awful customer service. Clerk and suposedly supervisor(male) were fighting with me about me the customer to give them the rest of my change due to coin shortage, business should work with the customers to complete the sales instead of forcing people to donate their hard earn money for something that is donated. He said he will cancelled my transaction without my consent. He should be fired.

Great clothes for growing kids needing neat clothing for school in adult sizes. Great people (but they do need more staff). A favorite stop whenever were in Clemmons.

Good store

First of all I love the goodwill store and I have shopped at goodwill for years but there are a few things that have been bothering me about this goodwill.1.Clemmons is an upscale area and many people donate wonderful things but those wonderful things are priced too high for being at a thrift shop. There was a heavily used Pyrex pan prices for 8 dollars when I can buy a new one for 12 at Walmart. There were pots and pans priced crazy high for the condition they were in.2. They have put high prices on literal junk, like 3 dollars for a dollar store cup just because it’s pretty. They sale dollar tree items for much more than the actual dollar tree.4.for a goodwill that sales junk at a high price they do not have money for a child changing table or new soap refills in the bathrooms, I have had to change my child’s soiled diaper in the cart before because I had no other option.5. They throw away stuff like crazy!! Today me and my mom saw them just tossing coffee cups and other glass goods in a cart in the back room as we walked by...like shattering them.they say “your donations go to help job training” but that is not the case when they are way overpriced , someone is making a profit off of junk. I get that goodwill sells used thing and that’s cool but price then correctly like a rusty cake pan .50 ,bundle ugly coffee cups 6 for a dollar don’t throw the stuff away unless it’s useless and can’t be sold.6.if the people who work here stand for job training please prove your point by coming up with good ideas when pricing things.

Usually has a good selection but WAY too overpriced, and one of the employees is very rude every time hes ever rung us up. Goodwill used to be cheap but when I went in recently they wanted $40 for a mirror with a scratch on it, and $20 each for two patio chairs with holes in them. Seriously??? If you need clothes, go to Megathrift. MASSIVE selection and usually good prices, lots of name brand stuff. If you need furniture or appliances, habitat usually has stuff in much better condition that is worth the price. Come on, Goodwill, I love thrift shopping but youre just too much now. Goodwill is SUPPOSED to be cheap, and they get everything for free! Ridiculous.

Gotta love the great finds at Goodwill, but it seems like over the past year, they are becoming very overpriced on a lot of things. There was a Holiday inn used, small glass ashtray priced at $2.00! Its a hit and miss. I think sometimes it just depends on whos working in the back deciding on the prices. Sometimes you get great, reasonable deals that you would expect from a Goodwill, but lately it seems like theyre asking full retail price for used items that they got for free!

Recently this location went through a renovation and it looks great! I do find some of the items get very overpriced here but its not enough to deter me from shopping here. This location has a great book selection but never has much in the way of toys and have never had the little loose toy bin that many of the other stores have.

Always find some bargains but the main reason I go to the Clemmons store is because of Rochella. She always lifts my spirits and makes me feel great. Her kindness keeps people coming back.

I love going to goodwill but today I was upset with the staff. I lost my credit card they pretended that I didnt need help they kept telling me to leave. All they had to do was take my phone number and call if they found it. I love the people who work there but not this lady. She was ugly acting. No care. But thats okay the rest of the workers are nice. I hope I see her no more.

Very organized and decent prices. The smell inside is pretty strong but, most thrift stores have a distinct scent. When I went, the items there were pretty worn down. Some things I saw didnt look worth selling. . .at all.It just couldve been a bad thrift day. . .it was my first time here.Overall, Ill be back bc it was organized and cheap. I could quickly see there was nothing 4 me.

Have heard from several people that Clemmons goodwill store is the best one. Well, its not. went from Kernersville with some friends. The merchandise is way overpriced ( as most goodwill are), the clothing looked tattered and soiled. The store had a most unpleasant odor, like dirty, sweaty feet. Sorry, we will not be going back. Ours in Kernersville is much better, (still overpriced for used items). We will visit the thrift stores that help worthy causes, better deals.

Area has upper middle class donations. More likely to want a tax write-off for year old donations. They get the win win. Donating makes them feel better about their excessive living. They dont feel so bad about splurging again this year. If someone who never had a nice set of silverware or chinaware? Shops here, finds out then, how it feels to be rich! The shopper may développement​ a positive habit. Be another camel seeking the way through the eye of a Needle.

Clothes for all ages, books, electrics and toys for cheap. They get new stuff almost every day so you never know what youll find. How do I know, you ask? Well... I did 24 hours of (so called) community service there... Thats how. They should change the name to change-store service or slave labor service. Something that describes what youre really doing.

Jeff Brown is the most unprofessional, rude, miserable, and cowardly General Manager Ive ever experienced. Calls his volunteers bad names, makes rude comment after rude comment as well as he has no sense of humor whatsoever. If you are looking to volunteer I would avoid at all costs. My experience was disgraceful to the Goodwill foundation.
