Great bike shop to work with. Decided to pick up riding again during the pandemic. Took road bike in for service. Owner Travis did a great job putting new tires on and tuning bike. Sales manager, Monty was awesome to work with and John was very personable and helpful loading and unloading bike. Even bought a new road bike while I was there. Will go back !!!

I called and asked a few questions regarding a bike rack. Monty took his time and answered all my questions thoroughly. I ended up visiting the shop and purchased the rack. He installed the rack and demonstrated all the features. I really like the rack and was impressed with the time they spent with me. I will be visiting the shop every time that I am in town.

Just got a bike from Clemmons Bicycle for my son and was so impressed by their staffs professional and friendly service (especially by Monty and John). They worked with us to find just the right bike for him. Im so glad we chose them and I highly recommend their store.

Travis, Monty and John are top notch. Customer Service is EVERYTHING these days and these guys know that! My 10 yr old son had an issue with the crank arms on his 1yr old 26” Raleigh bike. The manufacturer wouldn’t replace the part but Travis took it upon himself to stand by his product. We have purchased a total of 6 bikes from Clemmons Bicycle and we will certainly be back as our boys continue to grow. I can’t recommend them enough! Support local and great businesses! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The folks here were awesome. I drove to the parking lot to buy a bike from a gentleman and the folks here took a look at it and made sure the fit and everything was good. Very knowledgeable and kind. If I lived in Clemmons Id go here all the time!

Have used Clemmons Bike shop for years for all our bike repairs. Every time you walk in you are greeted with professional and courteous staff. I have never had anything but a great experience with this group and will continue to use this shop for all our cycling needs.

I had not used my bicycle in several years but I decided to take it in to see what needed to be done. The estimate was very fair. Most importantly, my bicycle received its small repair in under an hour! Great service and very knowledgeable. Will come back with our other bicycles.

Not good took bike in put new parts in tire bike still dont work bad service they said it was up and running cant even ride it dont go no where shame the peddles dont even work now wow tried calling back dont answer the phone really guys

Great shop

Worst customer service I have ever had. Have spent thousands of dollars in this place and have been treated horribly. From bringing my bike in to get a tune up and them putting on an extra 400 dollars worth of parts without even calling me to ask if this was ok, to calling and asking if they have a certain part in stock and them saying “no” and hanging up on me. Even asking what the price was on a part while in the shop and them saying “they don’t know” and turned around and walked off. Don’t know how much money you have to spend in here for them to treat you well but, definitely will not spend another dime in this place.

Clemmons Cycle was amazing at helping fit our 8 year old for his first mnt bike! He love love loves it! I will be next to get one! Glad you are open during the pandemic!

I recently purchased a bicycle from Clemmons Bicycle and my experience with these people was excellent. I purchased the bike from Josh but received expert help from Travis a few days before and more help from Will a few days after. In every case, I felt like their time with me was sincere, I was never rushed and it was very helpful. The best compliment I can render, however, is watching the interaction between staff and regular customers who came in and out while I was there. It became immediately apparent that these guys have tremendous rapport with their clients and its no coincidence. If you want a first rate bicycle with professional service to match, look no further. I mean it!

They were excellent with helping choose a bike for my 14yo. They took the time to explain the importance of bike care to him.

I hate writing reviews especially bad ones. Travis is not good about calling customers back. Poor communication. I drove 2 hours to pick a bike and the bike was not ready as promised. A simple call to reschedule would have made a world of difference. After waiting for over an hour for my bike, we did not have the time to go over the bike and personally fit my bike. I had to cut the seat post myself when I got home. I shared my experiences with Travis thinking that he would care. But I truly think that they dont really care because he never called me back. I truly hope that this review provides good feedback for the owner and the staff to communicate with their customers. They are selling high-end bikes for thousands and should provide a high level of service/experience.

These guys are awesome! They have helped us get a vintage bike back in working order, made returning items painlessly easy, and helped us select the right style & sized bike for our eldest, who is learning to ride on two wheels. Extremely knowledgeable, down to earth guys who are more concerned with what best for the customer than their bottom line. We happily drive 20 minutes just to get to them because theyll be well worth our time. They were great with our young kids, too, which is priceless in my book.

Travis and front of store staff are great. However on several visits where I wanted additional information when Travis wasn’t there the lead mechanic was sort of rude and condescending. I have been in high end shops all over, and some make you feel instantly welcome, while others are chilly if you aren’t one of the cool guys. My recommendation, go during the day or Saturday morning when Travis is around so you won’t have to deal with the wrench in back.

Amazing sales experience. From entering the store, I was greeted with smiling faces and quickly was directed to the perfect bicycle for my needs. They pushed my bike to the front of the service department for customizing. Following the pimp my ride session, we proceeded to finish the sale at the front counter. Great place, will do business again! Fast, friendly service.

Had a tube fail just as I was about to start a ride at Tanglewood yesterday. Packed up and went straight to Clemmons Bike Shop and they fixed me up with no wait, back on the trail in less than 30 mins. Talked with the manager while I was there. Super nice guy, and some nice patrons hanging around that I also spoke with. The shop has a really good and inviting vibe, nice people working there, and good service. Not to mention, they’ve got some great bikes on the floor. I’d recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.

This is one of the best bike shops in the area for their selection, prices, service and location. If you are anywhere near Clemmons, this shop is convenient. They have all the parts you need from tubes and tires to lube and brakes. They also can help you if you are in the market for a new bike, clothes, shoes etc. If you like riding in groups they also have group rides and friendly staff that can help you find the right fit. The owner is amazing and the staff are super helpful without talking down to newbies who dont know much or are just getting started.

These guys are the best! They will fit you on a road bike or a mountain bike to be sure your experience is good one. Their main concern is you fall in love with biking and have safe fun! Cant say enough good about them. I am totally comfortable in the mainly male biking environment.

Clemmons Bicycles goes out of their way to help each cyclist individually. These guys helped me find the right ride and the perfect fit. They frequently accept trade-ins, but in my case since my bike was a rather obscure brand, they listed and sold it for me on ebay for a small commission....which enabled me to buy the bike I really wanted! Clemmons Bicycle is a top notch bike shop. It has been open for as long as i can remember! Like im 40 now, and was going there when i was 12! Travis a guy who has worked there since i was at least 25 still works there. He may even run the shop now. I went in there yesterday evening for the first time since i was 25, after hours, i might add, to pick up my sons bike who dropped it off there for a tune up, yes Travis stayed a little later so we could pick his bike up. Also during the tune up they noticed his derailleur hanger had broke and fixed it. It was still the great bike shop i remembered. Super knowledgable staff and over all great shop! If you live in Winston Salem/Clemmons area this is the only shop you should take your bike to be serviced.

When I first moved to Winston-Salem 1 1/2 yrs ago, I went around to all Local Bike Shops in the area. Clemmons is outstanding; very knowledgeable and supportive to all customers (from racers to casual tourers). Ive never ever been in the store without seeing people been well taking care of in a very friendly manner.Fantastic mechanics; small fixes or total rebuilds are all done extremely fast and well! This is the place you will return to for that reason itself.The staff are all riders themselves, and know their stuff. You will get good advice for your next race or high end bike purchase - but also if youre in the market for a helmet for you 6-yr old.Simply the best Bike Shop around!

I recently biked through Clemmons on a bike tour across NC on Bike Route 2. Id been needing a bike shop badly for awhile to do some adjustments on my bike and answer some questions I had about some aches and pains. Even though I was drenched from recent downpours, Josh invited me into his shop, a gesture I rarely receive when wet! They were able to repair my bike right away and Josh was incredibly helpful. He gave me some great advice and took care of everything I needed done to my bike. As if that werent enough, he gave a great recommendation for food and hotel for the night, and even gave us his personal phone number in case we had any questions after hours. Definitely a quality shop run by great people.
