Found this coffee shop and it’s delicious, worth the drive. I order one of their monthly specialty coffees (oat latte) it was perfect and delicious pastries to pair your coffee with. The aesthetic is so cute too.

The staff is super friendly and nice. The atmosphere is wonderful as well.I spent about 8ish bucks with tip for this coffee and a plain bagel. It was well worth the price. This coffee shop is a MUST if you are in the Cleburne area. It brings a small town vibe and brags a Fort Worth quality experience! The merch is clean, the interior is cute, and the drinks are carefully crafted. Wish I had found this place sooner!

Such an amazing coffee shop! I love supporting local and was traveling through town and wanted to try something different besides Starbucks. When I walked in I was immediately greeted by both the workers. They were extremely friendly and made an amazing latte for me. One of the best pumpkin spice lattes Ive ever had !!! The place looked so cool and fun. If I ever come back to this part of Texas I will definitely be a customer again ☺️

This coffee bar in Cleburne is absolutely spot on with plenty of seating area and wifi! Personal opinion: Way better than Starbucks! The drinks are amazing, my favorite is the coffee frost with soymilk and whip cream, DELICIOUS! I love that they offer kids size drinks, my daughters favorite is Vanilla Bean frost with soymilk and whip cream. The baristas are amazing, and they always have smiles on their faces and you can just tell they enjoy being there. Kudos to Danielle for her amazing customer service. Today my husband, a non coffee drinker wanted to check out the Pumpkin Spice Latte (New on the Menu for Fall); however, he didnt realize it had coffee when he ordered and sipped some of it. Danielle quickly offered to make him a new drink at no cost. He decided to go for his usual Chai Tea Latte. Now thats going above and beyond customer service!!! We will continue to comeback and support this place, not only for the good drinks but for the amazing staff that works there. Highly recommend if you are in Cleburne to check this place out! 👏👏👏

I love this coffee shop. They have a nice selection of espresso options to choose from and their regular Cup o Joe is pretty delicious as well. Dont like your latte too sweet? Theyll happily customize the syrup amount to fit your taste buds. Its a great, locally owned, alternative to Starbucks, however, please dont expect your drink to come out as quickly as it would at a chain store. While its not necessarily a long wait, its not particularly quick either. Take a few minutes to enjoy the warm atmosphere and comfy chairs, while you wait for your handcrafted locally sourced espresso drink.

We had a large group for a Crazy Canvas paint night. The Mug on the Square is a nice coffeehouse and the proprietors are just grand. My cappuccino was perfect. My friend had cocoa and loved it!

This “mug” is so great! Cleburne is so blessed to have such a delicious slice of coffee heaven right on the square. I had some questions and the barista was so patient and kind to answer each one. The environment is so chill. Would definitely recommend this spot.

Super friendly helpful and great with kids. The honey rose was a bit bitter at first but once i was use to the taste it was quite enjoyable. The biscotties are pretty good and heart cake with a cherry on top was yummy and cute. I think my new starbucks is definitely here.

I always get almond milk decaf latte with all three sugar free syrups. I love it hot or cold. They always do a great job, have a fun atmosphere, are super nice, and do their best.

I LOVE local coffee shops! I kept hearing about this neat coffee shop so I went to check it out and I am so glad I did. The coffee was amazing and reasonable priced. The owner was very kind.

I tried this place out because I enjoy the concept of supporting small businesses but I was extremely disappointed. At first it looks like a clean, homey establishment but the tables were dirty. None of the people behind the counter were wearing masks, not even while they made our drinks. They must not have any baristas working there because the coffee was watered down and over sweetened, if you try to order anything special they just point vaguely at the menue sections. Honestly if they care this little about their customers and their own employees, I highly doubt their coffee is fair trade.

5 stars is not enough i will give them 100 stars. The best coffee shop in Texas. The bathroom is always clean, it is the best clean bathroom i have ever used, it smell really good. and the coffee is so good. I will have to go back and get me more coffee when i am back in cleburne.

Best coffee shop around hands down. Ive been going here for about six months now and the coffee and service have always been great.The atmosphere inside is alright and you can usually see a few people sitting around doing homework or chatting.Its location right next to the book store is perfect.My only complaint is that their WiFi is password protected rather than open with an EULA like most places.

Great place! Seat setup is fantastic for whatever your need, study alone, visit with a friend, or get a group together. They even have a place for little ones to hang out so moms get a chance to visit! Very friendly staff. Nice variety of SF flavors, and new interesting mixes. Next time Ill try the lavender honey latte. This time I needed my old standby. Nice that they have both. The feel is open, yet intimate. You dont feel like youre crawling over everyone else to find your nook; something that is frustrating about Starbucks sometimes. The only downside is parking. Will definitely be back though.

I love the style of the shop and especially how they have a little lounge area with a chalkboard for kids. So thoughtful and cute! The coffee is cheap considering the great quality! They sell merchandise and flowers and more than just coffee. I just had to get a mug for myself. :) I will definitely be spending my free time here when I want some good coffee! ❤️☕️ 😋

This is just one of those happy places. People are happy to see you and coffee or teas are just wonderful. I take all my friends and some of my family here now instead of that other place.You know what place Im talking about.

So very good! They make an excellent chai tea latte. My boyfriend had this lavender coffee that you wouldnt think was good but was so surprisingly delicious. I 100% recommend this place. The Italian sodas were also really good and refreshing.

Every time we’ve come up to visit the area I’ve stopped in here. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been here once or are a regular they treat everyone the same. As a mom I especially love that there is a menu for kids!

What can I say about Mug on the Square that hasn’t already been said about a coffee shop? I travel to this shop because the staff has a very welcoming attitude and is eager to help you make a selection from their menu; I personally get the Americano. The shop itself is very clean and has an atmosphere that says “stay, hangout for a while.” One thing that I truly like about Mug on the Square, is that they sell/support Black Rifle Coffee Company, which is a Veteran owned and operated coffee company, that also supports Veterans.

Absolute BEST COFFEE AROUND! Danielle and staff were so pleasant in helping me understand the menu. The environment is inviting with a homelike feel! I love the natural brick walls they chose to reveal the history of the town. And the PRICE?! Unbelievable! $3.52 for a Large white chocolate Americano with steamed heavy cream, made with LOVE ❤️! I was just passing through town and NEEDED a cup of coffee ☕️! I’m glad I found the Mug on the Square!! If only we could get one in Stephnville!!!

Best coffee in Cleburne, also great atmosphere and convenient location. Only things holding it back are they dont open until 7am and loyalty/rewards program not generous at all. Prices are a comparable to Starbucks but they generally dont have a line. Loyalty program only includes espresso drinks. I drink chai which is among the most expensive drinks on the menu and was told it doesnt count. Bummer. Not to mention 5 drinks get you a meer 25% off which equivalent to my $1 tip. Whoopie. After 20 drinks you get a full priced free drink. Id rather just get a free drink every 10 drinks including chai! Maybe they will reconsider and Ill gladly bump them to 5 stars.
