Took my eGO trimmer here for warranty service. When they put it back together, they left out a large, obvious spring that pushes the trimmer head outward. This allowed the string to fly out intermittently. It wasnt until one whipped out and cut my leg that I was sure something was wrong and wasnt just my own operator error. Their mechanical incompetence caused me great frustration and personal injury. eGO sent me a replacement head directly so I could fix this myself ie avoid another faulty repair from LESS. When I saw how large and obvious this spring was, I was shocked that anyone could make this mistake. The spring is even retained by plastic hooks, so it wouldve likely had to have been intentionally or at least noticeably removed.Added a star because they were friendly and professional when I interacted with them. Please consider some QA or even just basic functional testing after a repair, LESS.

Ive been using less of Tampa Bay for close to 6 years now. I will never take my equipment anywhere else and I will never buy new quipment from anyone else. Their staff is always friendly and fun to be around and their service is always done timely and correctly with great prices. I would highly recommend anybody who cares about their business and their equipment to use less of Tampa Bay To purchase and repair any and all of their equipment for their lawn care business.

I went in there to get a tire fixed. When I was there, I asked about having a foot step put on one of my mowers, to get on it earlier. I was told $75. an hour to do that. I then asked about changing the oil on both mowers. They couldn’t give me a price for that. I would need both mowers picked up, which was $75. So, I paid for the repair on the tire, and the person there toke out a $75 hold for the pickup of my mowers on my credit card. That night I thought about it, that they could not come up with a price to do anything, so I called the next day to tell them I did not want to have my mowers serviced there, and to lift the $75 hold off my credit card. They said fine, no problem. An hour later they called back and wanted the info off my credit card to lift the hold. Instead, they took the $75 out of my account and I had to go through my bank to get it back. It took a week. That is unacceptable. This place couldn’t give me a price on anything, which didn’t seem right. No one in that shop ware any face coverings, which was for my protection and theirs. I would not have any work done there because, they could not give a price on any work that they do, and most of all. They took my money before they even had my mowers to work on. How shameful.

Please dont take your E-Go equipment there. I took my lawn mower for repair and after 1.5 months waiting I got back and as soon I placed it on the grass and tried to pull it back i hear a grinding noise. I called them right away and my instructions were call E Go customer service because we wont work on them anymore. Ok than. They fell me this time.

Took saw in to be put together after trying myself to fix it. I know for a fact ALL the parts were there. Had the saw for a week before they told me they couldnt put it back together then made me pay a diagnostic fee of $25 for labor for NO labor. When they gave me my saw back I they also gave me a whole list of parts that the saw was missing when they werent missing before I went in the store. I wont be returning anymore

The staff here is always very helpful in both sales and service. I have bought a few things here and have never felt pressured to buy more than I need, the advice given has always been practical. Also, I typically service most of my own equipment, but will come here when something is beyond the scope of my knowledge or capability. I have never been disappointed with any of the work done. Always top notch, and I dont say that easily.

Hey these guys are awesome ! They were open and working during shut down. they had a hard time getting parts for my Generac from generac (during the shut down not their fault) but kept at it and they did a great job fixing it and are super polite they have professional great service. I really appreciate their help. Try them out, I highly recommend them !!!!!!

FINALLY GOT MY 48 MASTER Z WORKING BY WAY OF TERRY BEARING. AFTER LESS CHANGED ALL THE DECK PULLEYS THE OEM BELT WOULDNT WORK BEING TO TIGHT BECAUSE LESS PUT ON PULLEYS TO BIG. TOOK THE MACHINE BACK. THEY CHARGED ME 53$ TO TELL ME I NEEDED A DIFFERENT PULLEY ON THE DECK BECAUSE ONE WAS TO BIG. TOLD ME THAT FOR ANOTHER 17$ PULLEY MY PROBLEM WOULD BE SOLVED. WELL WHO CHANGED THEM???TERRY BEARING RESCUED ME BY ACCEPTING THE BELT I GOT, OEM FOR THE DECK, IN EXCHANGE FOR NO CHARGE CAUSE LESS DIDNT HAVE THE RIGHT SIZE PULLEY, IN EXCHANGE FOR THE PERFECT FIT. I WAS CHARGED OVER 800$ AND THE MACHINE WAS INOPERABLE. OH AND THE MECHANIC WHO WORKED ON IT PARKED IT OUT IN THE RAIN AND WATER GOT IN MY HYDRO FLUID TANK. I WAS TOLD HE FORGOT I DIDNT HAVE A COVER ON THE CAP. I HAD TO BUY A FILTER AND PURGE THE TANTED FLUID AT HOME. WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!

The staff at Less promptly acknowledges customers as they enter the building. They get equipment fixed quick so you can get back to work... Time is money in the lawn maintenance/ landscaping business. I really love the Scag mowers that are offered in the store! Authorized Scag Dealer!!! The building has chairs and a television so customers can comfortably wait for any minor repairs that may be being done on their equipment. Also, the showroom has a complimentary popcorn and soda machine. 😁

These guys wer absolutely the greatest in both equipment and a repair of the quipment! Every time I take my stump grinder they Usually do a great job... But this is the 2nd time that I have taken my stumpgrinder Im in and asked for repairs got charged top dollar they held my machine for week over a $40 piece that I could run out and got all they had to do is tell me they didnt $1500 in rentals for the stump grinder cause I kept it for a whole week $900 for simple repairs and they didnt even do the service that I get every time I go there... Eric is a good guy but it is not his fault the service guy Vince seems to drop the ball every time... Well I guess Ill just be taking my machine somewhere else..... Or Eric can fix the problem...

When I came into Less, I told them I had no idea what I was getting myself into, however I wanted to start my own company. They were able to get me the hand equipment that was necessary to run a successful business as well as get me financed for the mowers I use. They have been very helpful with every aspect of the business to include helping me price certain jobs. I owe the success Ive had in the 4 months Ive been in the business solely to these guys and the other companies they have put me in contact with to assist with hands on experience. The showroom is organized and displays most of what you can think of to look for. They also provide servicing on equipment, and can hook you up with used stuff, if thats what youd like. Great prices and the sales guy went out of his way to find the blade for my Craftsman push mower. They treat the guys spending $20 just like the guys spending 20K. Thats how a company stays in business. I will be back.

This shop has a great selection of equipment and employees with years of experience. The owner Eric was the general manager of another large mower shop in town before opening his own. He always helps you with everything you need and make sure it gets taken care of.

Wow. Could not find a Husqvarna part anywhere until I walked into LESS. Not only was Steve welcoming, he methodically searched relentlessly and found my item. What a difference from Loews who looked at me cross eyed and said, parts for something we sold you. Not possible.

I am very disappointed with this store, and Steve in particular . Good salesman over the phone , but will sell you poor equipment just to make a buck. Sold me the wrong size bar on a chainsaw just to get rid of it . I got all floor models, and now one saw has a problem starting up . I spent over $1700 and had to beg and Barter for chainsaw sleeves. Steve made a big sale at the end of the day, and was mad he had to stay an extra 20 mins, flew out the parking lot like a mad man ,giving my crew dirty looks. Terrible customer service.
