Great local computer repair store we all need! I briefly met 3 different guys there but Josh I encountered the most. He was always extremely professional and knowledgeable and quick to offer helpful advice. They repaired a Dell laptop for my mom and I added some upgrades for my Mac from their store. Shortly after my first encounter I headed back for an issue with my Mac and although Josh couldnt resolve the issue without proper diagnoses and an overnight or 2 at the store which I couldnt do, he did offer some great advice and was beyond helpful with his professional knowledge of computers in general. I highly recommend these guys for all your computer services and IT needs in Clearwater.

Mike and Joshua are amazing representatives of the business. These gentleman are open and listen to the issues presented to them and though they gave a couple of ideas on that the issue was/is, they were clear that they still needed to diagnose the issue to make sure. Mike called to confirm my computers issues and explained the process of correcting all issues and a solid price for repairs. There is really no second guessing these guys because they let you know everything up front. I have already told some friends about HT computers and I will use them with all my system needs. Out of the blue, I got the black screen of death on my 3D rendering PC. I do 3D animation/rendering as a significant part of my business and was in the middle of a project requiring this PC. I had taken my Samsung Galaxy phone into HT Computers for repair. It had gotten wet and I was unable to swipe or text with it. Joshua diagnosed it for free and told me I had a dead space on my touch screen and that needed to be replaced, All of my contacts and other info on my smart phone were intact, He suggested that I prepay $214.00 for a new screen with shipping and installation. I picked up my phone from the owner Tom this afternoon. I am very pleased with their skill, honesty and good value of this company. I would highly recommend them and I will be back for my future computer and phone repair needs.

The culmination of an extensive search in the Pinellas County area resulted with me choosing HT Computers to perform the diagnostic work on my HP laptop. Mike and Joshua did a great job in finding the problems, and letting me know the alterntives available for its repair. As advertised, the initial services were fast and free. The fee for diagnostic goes toward the repair. Since it wasnt cost effective I opted out on the repair of my HP Pailion g7, and was only charge a minimal fee of 1/2 hour bench fee...for extensive quality information that allowed me to make an informed decision. Brought a couple computers here so far. The staff is extremely professional and knowledgable. They do not overcharge or perform unnecessary work. They were honest with me on what my computer needed even though they could have easily charged me for additional work I did not need done. Very trustworthy. When I asked to pay extra for their professionalism, they suggested I give the money to Toys for Tots instead. Amazing.

I built a machine for 3D animation and rendering and out of the blue (about 4 months later) doing a totally mundane task I received a blue screen of death. I tried literally everything I knew to get this thing to boot back up. It wouldnt even boot from a USB or a windows install disc. I was at a total loss of what to do. Enter HT Computers! These guys are awesome!! They tracked the problem down to be both the processor and motherboard which I never would have guessed. The problem probably stemmed from my inexperience in building machines. I thought I saved money by building the machine myself, but I ended up costing myself money. In the end, HT replaced the parts ( which was about the same cost as if I had gotten them myself) and rebuilt the whole machine correctly! The HT parts cost and labor cost was exceedingly reasonable as well. So there you have it. HT has extremely skilled Techs, comparable parts prices, and super low labor costs. They also diagnosed the problem free of charge. These guys are awesome and cant be beat. With this experience they now have a customer for life!! Thanks HT!!!!

I took my two dead and ancient computers in for retrieval of pictures and data on them. Although an easy task for them surely, I was pretty happy with the turn around time! I took it in mid afternoon on a Sunday and it was completed late afternoon Monday! I have had terrible experiences in the past in regard to fixing computers but this was a great experience and will be bringing any repairs needed to these guys! Tom is a miracle worker! I had a 7 plus I phone and it shut down while using it. T-Mobile recommended HT Computers. It was determined there was a hardware issue. I lost everything!! 3,500 pictures, all my contacts, they were all gone. I didnt have it backed up, but Tom was able to recover everything and put it all on and I Phone 6 I had. He saved me and I am so grateful. I picked up the following day. The fee was not a lot and most important my pictures! I highly recommend this most amazing place. As well as great customer service! My charger wouldnt work and I wanted them to fix it. Unfortunately enough it could not be salvaged. But for the same price he quoted me to be able to save my charger, they offered a new charger instead.This one was stronger than my current laptop charger. And its been working great! Ive upgraded my laptop with new hardware and its greatly appreciated to be able to have a stronger charger for as cheap as he gave this to me for.5/5 I would come here again to for this amazing service with my other electronics.

HT Computers was able to get my wifes computer fixed promptly at a reasonable price. I also was able to get my computer repaired that had been sitting for quite some time and back up to speed. A friend recommended HT computers to me. I made the decision to replace my battery on existing my Android phone rather than purchase a new phone at this time. We had continuous intermittent Internet connection issues with Spectrum. Tom came and figured out what we needed Spectrum to do, then upgraded our system with a separate router. Everything has worked great since that time. And today, our wi-fi went out. I called Tom and he debugged the issue over the phone...I had accidentally pushed the button to turn of the wi-fi! We are snowbirds back in Florida. Had bought a new laptop (from Best buy) but they were very unhelpful and wanted to charge a lot of money to help sync up printer with new laptop. Spent all day calling around different computer stores and stopping in dungeon like places. Fate brought me literally to this mans shop. Which seemed more like a gallery. Polished white from floor to ceiling. All I needed was an 8 pin to 8 pin connection for my modular psu. He not only had what I needed but literally a variety of them. I found my local hot spot for my Gaming PC needs. Apparently he builds gaming PCs as well.

I had a Office365 issue. I called and spoke with Tom and he suggested I come in so he could see my issue and hopefully show me how to fix it. I did just that. Tom is a Really Nice Sincere Guy. If you can top that, he knows Office365 SharePoint!! He showed me in no time how to overcome my issue. He had the nerve to try NOT to charge me!! After a few minutes of negotiation he begrudgingly accepted my money. While there I looked at his hardware. His laptops and tablets are Way cheaper than I expected. The prices beat Best Buy. I will be back anytime I need anything. Just look at all his 5 star ratings. We cant all be wrong.

To start with, I dealing with the Windows blue screen of death. But when I called them, my phone screen went black. They fixed that for free. Within hours they had my computer up and running better than it did before and at a reasonable price.

Fantastic lil IT spot that does just about anything and everything related to electronics. Service and price were in line with a top notch outfit as well. They did a free diagnostic, offered to secure my data for 7 days, called after the fact to ensure success, and basically saved me 20-30 extra office hours trying to recreate what I lost. When my desktop computer died with no warning and no reason, I went in asking a lot of questions and Tom patiently answered every one of my questions. Galaxy S7 repaired and data recovery. First off this review was not originally left by me-- the first sentence was left while my phone was at the store and it was a 5 star review which I lowered to 3 stars upon seeing that my google account was used without my permission. I found out after the fact that the review was left while my phone was still at the store which is quite concerning. Customer service is very pleasant. Unfortunately I did not check my data threads thoroughly and only confirmed that they were there and when restored I was missing tons of content. Wish I had never taken my phone in because the simple annoyance that was the reason for my visit wasnt even corrected and may actually be worse now and I lost valuable messages on top of it.To be clear I was given the price of the restore after my phone with all the data had been reviewed and was told it would only take 30 minutes even with the large amount of data that was clearly visible when my phone was first reviewed. I was apprehensive about the restore but was reassured numerous times that it would back up everything and be identical. I was also told I had 2 days to review my data. I called back about the issues about 5 days after pick up not 2 weeks knowing it may have been gone. I was given an opportunity to look at the data on the server which I appreciated. It was the same as what was put on after the restore. I did not bring up any battery issues in this review so I am not sure why that was brought up in the below reply. I am voicing my frustration in trusting that all would back up and that I did something so spontaneously with a company Id never worked with but went on recommendation from t mobile store. My phone still has the same issues as before the restore. Ive tried other means of getting my data back with no luck this far. I will never ever make sure a rash decision with my electronic data in the future.

After taking a new position in the area my computer crashed the first week of work. These guys came through for me last minute and worked diligently to diagnose and repair my Thinkpad within a day. Tom and Mena really helped me out. I had a Dell laptop with a hardware that was just outside of warranty. The repair from HT wasnt exactly cheap but it was much less expensive than Dell would have charged and HT warrantied their work for a full year. I dropped my watch up on Monday and picked it up Tuesday. I highly recommend HT computers to anyone that has technical needs. They are friendly, and know what they are doing.

This place in unbelievable! Not only are they way cheaper than anyone else, but the service is sincere and great! Thomas stayed after hours to help me with a broken phone. I tried to do a battery change myself which ended up costing me $100s in repairs & replacements. I could have just taken it here, had it done right for $30!! I highly recommend this place!

Came into the store because my camera was not working on my samsung phone, had gone to Verizon, all they wanted was to sell me a new phone...so Mena the customer service person explained that the screen protector was covering the front camera..was I a happy camper..Second time here and they are so helpful and courteous and friendly.

Tom has taken care of both my mom’s phone and computer, as well as my own phone and computer. He’s always provided quality service with fair pricing, being honest and up-front about the state of whatever we took to him. Saved me money not trying to repair a phone that wasn’t worth the value when others may have just taken my money and did what they could. Would recommend Tom and the crew for tech problems, I know myself and my family will go back there.
