I stop by this place about once a week to check the shelves. Ive bought a few things here and there. Tools mainly. Ive never had a bad experience until recently. I bought a set of battery drills there, and after a couple days I realized that the batteries (one in particular) would not hold a charge. I know they dont usually accept returns, but I decided to try anyway. They made an exception and gave me an in store credit, which was fine since I go there all the time. So thats worth a five star review in my book.Otherwise good place overall. Prices are pretty decent and tools always have fully charged batteries so you can try them out.

Pawned my grandmothers antique diamond engagement ring and great grandmothers emerald and diamond ring and had them test both of the large diamond and emerald stones upon receiving them and just went to pick them up and had them test each again only to have them both test negative this time. Machine my worse fears confirmed. They swapped out both antique stones for FAKES! CROOKS! THIEVES! ROBBERS! Right out in the open. I already contacted my attorney.

Honestly this is the best place to go to! We have been going here for 6 years and we love every part of CLAYTON Gold and Pawn :) The staff is friendly, the items for sale are in great shape, and the store is clean :) Matt, Caitlyn, the owners are all good people. This is a business people they have overhead: power, rent, payroll, etc. Understand that. Definitely stop by this place if you’re selling pawning or buying :)

First time going and I’ll definitely be a regular. Matt and Caitlyn were great to work with and both gave me helpful info about the purchase I was making. They had a really good selection of items too, awesome store.

I have bought jewelry from here before. Always helpful and friendly and prices are great. Enjoy their specials they run also. I recommend them for jewelry!

Horrible customer service it’s no wonder why the ratings and reviews are so bad. If you have any items you plan on keeping make sure you set your own reminders for monthly payment on the loan because they will intentionally sell your stuff. Also no option to pay by phone. They are willing to risk good customer service and loyal customers over money. Don’t do business with them as the business is operating out of desperation.

I bought a ps4 slim from these guys for a pretty good price and I have been hesitant to make a review because I wanted to see if the system I bought was functional. Well it is, and I am pretty happy with it. The only problem I had was with the controller. The controller does not work properly and the serial sticker on the back was peeled off so that seemed a little dodgy but thats the way it goes I should have tested it and brought it back same day. The workers were mostly nice and did not seem hostile or annoyed by me. My experience was good so I will return to this store.

Dont do business with them. If you wish to pawn an item I would recommend going somewhere else. They sold three of my firearms and the last one meant a lot to me. They really dont care and to a certain extent I get it they have a business to run. I received a call from them about my item and went in the very next day to make a payment and they told me my item was pulled and sold. As a Veteran who served his country in combat I dont recommend doing business with these individuals.

Prices are high. $100 for a ps3?? $30 for a roku....they are $30 brand new! Greeting was half hearted at best. Didnt seem to wanna be bothered. From the outside it looks like a huge facility but inside is a very small showroom. Typical country pawnshop guns and jewelry are the star attraction while electronics are few and expensive.

I don’t know why there rating is so low, maybe they are racist or something like everyone’s talking about but I walked in trying to sell some old rings I didn’t need and they asked if I needed help with anything right away and I sold them 4 rings and got like 200$ not to bad for some dusty old rings, and I understand they gotta resell it so overall not to bad

Walked in talking Spanish to a friend on my phone . And I hear one of the guys say (ugh another one ! Why cant they speak our language. If they cant do that they should get out of my country . I hanged up the phone and told them I speak English ahole and walked out ... super racist hillbillies everything was super expensive like they sell things new . DO NOT GO HERE !!

Felt uncomfortable when I first walked in. I was acknowledged but not greeted. As soon as I stepped in Can I help you with something!Stated that I was browsing and as I moved around store was constantly asked if I needed something . At that point I felt my business was unwanted. Will tell every sole I encounter of this interaction with Gold n Pawn of Clayton. Unfortunate.

I brought in a PS4 pro... And they looked at my black skin and low balled me...the manager is a complete racist and they dont care at all about the customer... Will never go here a again and I would not advise any person of color to go here.

Actually Matt and the guys are really great ppl, they help you out IF YOU DO YOUR PART AND HELP YOURSELF AS WELL..THATS THE TRICK...I hav oly had one problem in the 5 yrs I been doing business with them and Matt and I worked something out to where we were both happy and thankful...Thye just do there job and its just the way it is..I give them 5 out of 5.

Horrible, horrible service. I brought in three pieces of jewelry to sell, the guy couldnt tell if any of the gold was real. He scratched a huge gouge in on piece. Then he continued to tell me he couldnt buy my silver piece because the price of silver is so f***ing low right now. I also brought in two watches for battery replacement and he told me they were all out of batteries.

This is a poor excuse for a pawn shop Im disabled and I had to pawn my motorized wheelchair to pay my light bill they told me that they would hold my chair for me until this Friday and now they have put it out on the floor and selling it for $300 and now I cant get my chair back cause I dont have the money and Im out of a chair please people do not go to this pawn shop they are not friendly at all and they act like they dont want to help anyone they need to shut down They Suckkkkkk.
