This place can help you out of a bind when they have the parts that you need. But there are times when you get there and the part you want is ruined. The majority of times it is the careless selfish trash that damage the vehicle when pulling their parts. Then there are times when it is the staff. Here is a picture from their site showing a vehicle that just arrived in the yard and then here are two pictures I took when I went there four days after it was in the yard. I was trying to get the bumper. In their pic it looks like it is good shape but you can see what it really looked like. The car has no parts missing from it yet so how did the bumper get so trashed? It had to be some careless employees that moved the car into the yard. This car is very hard to find in salvage yards and they trash it needlessly. It really angers me when Im expecting the car to be in decent shape according to their pics but when I get there it isnt because of some one that doesnt do their job properly.

They have a really good battery program for 49.99$ you get a lifetime warranty to swap out as many times as you need. With tax and no core it came out to be around 67 something. 57 with a core. Lot was organized by numbers and rows so that’s helpful. Prices were good! Bought several parts for our Mazda and dodge and spent under $50 not giving 5 stars only because we didn’t find everything that we needed, which isn’t their fault of course. Will come again

They cancelled their thanksgiving sale on short notice without advertising that it had been cancelled in the places where they had advertised the sale. They posted small signs on the entrance of the place, so only AFTER youve driven all the way there in anticipation of the sale do you know it is cancelled. I had verified the sale in person at an lkq location last week, and I checked the website before heading down there today.Just another example of a business abusing covid to do things that would otherwise be illegal. Hope they get tossed on the pile of FTC complaints. I have half a mind to file my own.

Went to look for seats and a brake booster. There are 0 Toyota trucks or 4Runners so dont bother. Only Toyota cars (Camry or Corolla). Found a set of seats I wanted out of a Scion. I asked the guy at the counter and he quoted me $70 each even though their own website says $28 per seat. These were cloth bucket non power no air bag. Maybe he needs some training or needs to refer to a parts list . I wont be going back as they have nothing I need.

Got the part I needed and it was way cheaper than ordering it new. The for the 2 stars is because of the parking lot. I got a screw in my tire while I was there. The worst part of this place is the incredibly high prices. They didnt know what part I had then gave a price equal to a new part. When I said it was a new price, he threw it out the door into a dumpster and almost hit a customer. He screamed at them to watch out. It was hilariously juvenile. I would have negotiated a fair price, but his feelings were too hurt that I questioned his arbitrary price for a part that he couldnt identify. The place is a disaster. Always the same gutted cars and it is like a trash dump. Its the worst pick a part Ive seen in the country. The car guys I know say I shouldnt have gone the Im the first place.

Customer service is not what you go to for a junkyard- you go for the parts you need. The man who let me in was very nice all he asked was that i open my bag. with that being said, the organization, compared to others, is much better at this yard. I came in, got my window and other parts and got out. it was quite simple. Also, the man marking the stuff was very nice as well as the cashier. I asked them both about the return period and they were quick to respond that there is one. So, before you decide whether or not to come, I would take into consideration that you do not interact with the staff 99% of the time that you are in the yard. If you are interacting with the staff in the yard you may be causing a disruption and are in need of being kicked out.

Its a junkyard so what would you expect. Cars are fairly stripped and there is a lot of stuff lying around, it could be tidier. $3 to get in is typical. Very friendly, and very helpful. There was a gentleman who mark the codes on the items that I was about to buy at the check out window. He accidentally missed a couple items but I did not realize this until I was at the car putting them in my car. So I take the items they didnt charge me for back and got in line. When the guy working at the check approached me, I explained that I was just in line and the guy failed to see these items n I was not charge for them. He looks at me after he understood that I came back to pay for them and smiled and said, thank you for your honestly. You have a good day and keep those parts as well. This truly blessed my heart. They had EVERYTHING I needed as well. Their prices are off the chain great and very affordable too. It was well worth my drive of 1hr and 30mins. I would recommend this salvage to anyone first.

First off they have no way of contacting them for any questions. Only a general number to the corporate office. If you want a rim, plan on paying for a tire as well no matter the condition. Although they list a tire removal fee of $5.06 its non existent because they dont have a tire machine, its broken so I guess its easier to force a charge on the customer then fix the machine or update the website. By the way they also dont have the cost or a tire on the site, its called a casing. So I drive 1.5hrs to buy a $35 rim and face check out with a $72 bill?? Poor customer service, no way to contact, outdated price list, I do not recommend using LKQ for your parts search!

Je
Review β„–48

Went to this junkyard today to buy a rim. First off, every person that enters must pay a $3 entry fee. I didnt expect that, but at least it was only $3. The attendant was very helpful in knowing where the car I was looking for was, so that was good. Got to the car, found the rim I needed and also picked up a hubcap. Unfortunately, I had to buy the tire because they cant remove it for you. The tire was the most expensive part of it and I didnt need it, but I needed the rim, so I left with my purchase. I then went to the mechanic, who informed that the rim I bought didnt sit flush with my car axle and it turned out that the hubcap I bought didnt match the others on my car either. I didnt need anything I bought, so I came right back to return them. Well, the attendant at the front of the junkyard told me they dont accept tire returns! I was not told this when I bought the tire AND there were no notes about that on the receipt I was given. I pointed out the man that checked me out when I bought the tire, letting the attendant know that he could verify that the same tire was on the rim as when I left. The attendant continued to assert that accepting tires is not part of their policy. They need to let customers know this policy! I didnt even want the tire to begin with! The attendant almost didnt let me return the hubcap either, because there was no marking on it that it was sold. If its the companys policy that every purchase must be marked by an employee before it leaves the lot, its not my responsibility to make sure of that, especially because I dont know their company policies! I ended up getting my money back for the hubcap and the rim, not not the tire. Because they cant remove tires, they got to keep the tire plus the money I gave for the tire and the lot entry fees that I paid.I DO NOT recommend going to this lot unless you can be sure that the part youre looking for will work for your car.

I went in for the top half of a rear seat. I was charged for two 1/2 seats because it was a 40/60 split. When I questioned them, It was explained that even though both sides made one 1/2 seat...since it was two separate pieces, they had to charge it as two pieces. Makes no logical sense. They find every way they can to overcharge you. Steer clear of this place.

I love the Durham LKQ, the staff seems much nicer. But this one after they moved it seems they have different employees or maybe management has changed because when I came 2 hours before they closed just to get a quick part they said sorry bud were closed and I told the young guy that its 2 and a half hours before you guys close though. He said oh well we felt like closing early today. But yet there were people I could clearly see still inside and yet I drove an hour just to get there through a ton of traffic also. What the hell is wrong with your staff. Please get management to straighten your employees out on when they can be open or closed and when they should not be telling paying customers to just go away or go to another business. This makes me want to do business with Wagners instead now.

I bought an upstream o2 sensor from them for my honda accord and it only worked for 4 days then stopped. I plugged in my scan tool there was no reading from it. Then I found a set of 4 wheels from an Acura I wanted, they charged me $192 for them even though the tread was under 50%. The mechanic there said Ill charge you for the wheels only and told the guy behind the window to charge me for 4 rims. Seems he still charged me for tires as well because the website lists 16 aluminum wheels at only $35 each. So how does it add up to $192 for 4?Got home and put air in them, installed, one tire had a bad leak and im not even sure if it is the tire or the rim busted because when I sprayed soapy water on it was leaking from the very edge where the bead meets the rim and making a loud hiss. Now I need to decide if I should pay the tire place to put a tire on that wheel and possibly risk a near $300 loss or just leave it at a $200+ dollar loss. Lesson learned Im never stepping foot in this place again. And of course there is no contact phone number for this location only LKQ corporate.
