Produce area nicely maintained.. Greatl pricing on some items but very pricey on others. Self Check out would be nice.

In all honesty, what makes a grocery store good, kinda differs from person to person. Dietary needs, finances, distances, transportation.... Alot has an affect on our decision there... But for us, its close, convenient, affordable, has good products within the range of what we need, and a decent rewards system. I like it quite a bit... But we still get our produce from acme here and there. The wife prefers it. I pretty much live off coffee and.boost... so... Yea

I used to shop at Food Lion in Cambridge Maryland years ago. Glad to see that they have expanded. Great prices.

This is my favorite market. I travel all the way from PA. Every employee is amazing. They simply go out of their way to help their customers. The store is always clean, shelves stocked, well lit, and organized. Let’s not forget the amazing prices. This company set the bar high. Every grocery store chain should be taking notes. Job well done.

It has been many years since I have step foot in a food Lion primarily because there are none in Cumberland County New Jersey where I live. The food Lion that I visited on Friday was just before the big snowstorm was supposed to come in. I expected long lines and impossible parking.I was wrong and very pleasantly surprised at how great the parking was and how quickly we were able to go through checkout. I did not see any automated checkouts. However, the staffing at checkout was excellent. In Delaware you have to provide your own shopping bags or they will provide you paper bags. We visited every department inside of the store and found that there was more than adequate customer service people to answer questions and to offer assistance. In almost every aisle there was an employee who walked up to us and asked if they could be of assistance. Now the day before major snowstorm that is outstanding service.My friend lives very close and she is able to walk to the store with ease. However, if I lived miles away I would still drive to this store. I give this to a top ratings as far as cleanliness, well stocked shells, product aisles very well marked and designated, as well as superb customer service. Great Care was taken to see that employees were properly gloved and masked and all surfaces appeared to be hygienic and clean all especially important in this time of Covid19 awareness.

Employee knowledge is a minimum cant help you find anything

The bakery lady is extremely rude and to an extent raciest. Not talking properly even when taking orders and purposely making wait and not just that also she spoke to me very rudely when I went to place a cake order so much so that I was in tears. I am not sure whether she is like this with everyone or she is just rude to me but It’s highly unacceptable and unethical. She didn’t stop her she charged me double the price for a recent Cake order and purposely ruined the cake too. It’s a horrible experience I will rather never go here. So in a nutshell she ruined the Cake charge double the price and not behaving in a rightful way. I will urge food lion to take immediate action and fixed this as I am regular customer of food lion for all my grocery need and I don’t what to discontinue because this bad behavior.

The Deli is too expensive. Way much Cheaper at Shoprite and Acme. I purchase 5 Chicken wings & cheese stick few pieces and i was charge more than $11 . At Walmart 6 pieces chicken wings, macaroni & mash potato ate $3 something sometimes $4 something.

The lion ate the dollars out of my pocket I did save a lot though when they gave me the store card man... I love the store card save me like the lion had to give me some of my money back the only thing I will say I get my meats at acme I get my other stuff at food Lion.

I highly recommend using Vikkii in Food Lions bakery for your next event or celebration. She is truly the best at all she does! She goes above and beyond to accommodate requests even if the design of the cupcakes or cakes are not in the offered catalog. She does a beautiful job with cake and cupcake decorations. Her customer service, responsiveness, and dedication to make customers happy is admirable.

This one is better than the Governor Printz location simply because they seem to have things the other doesnt. Still same issue with the shortage of people on the register but even with the overhaul of all Food Lions, their employees stop and ask if you need help more than any other Ive been to. Not a swipe at the others, honestly. All other locations do help when I have asked but this locations employees go out of their way.

Store is very small and kinda messy.. the cashier guy kept going on his phone while scanning items and walked away from the register in the middle of scanning and he was also talking to another cashier at the time jokingly while saying the F word... ill never go back to this foodlion again.. ill stick to the one on Philly Pike where the associates are very helpful and respectful to there customers..

I often visit the food Lion on Philadelphia Pike. Im always welcome by workers who Implement safety precautions by handing you a wipe or a person thats counting the customers coming into the store for safety reasons as a result of the Coronavirus. As a result of my frequent visits I have built a rapport with many of the personnel and cashiers. Im very appreciative of the service rendered and that each person working is there for the community and putting their lives on the line each day. I continue to pray for their safety, and appreciative of their dedication and commitment and proud to call them essential workers.God Bless all retail workers and all that render service for our communities and Country to continue on.

Only went here to get baby food, they didnt have the product that was advertised however the staff were very friendly and tried to find something close to what I was looking for. The line was very slow.

America.....since when did we start allowing grocery stores to dictate our personal health decisions for us?? I never thought I would see the day, when a grocery store could dictate my health decisions and my wardrobe decisions BEFORE I would be allowed to shop. Is America a communist country now? At this rate....food lion can dictate whatever they want. How long until they say we cannot shop unless we have shaved heads and tattooed faces? Seriously the sky is the limit now that weve allowed them to tell us to cover our breathing abilities or else we cannot shop for food. What a dangerous precedent we are setting. Im sad that food lion employees cannot see the damage they are causing to our once free nation.

Always have a great shopping experience. I find what I was looking for and what I wasnt both at a great price! The staff will randomly ask if you need help finding anything or if you have a question while youre shopping, thats helpful and appreciated. I enjoy the overall feel of the store. Its got an easy flow if youre not familiar with the layout of the store. I like being able to find what I came in for without walking the entire store. You are greeted when you enter and as you exit, another excellent feature of the staff.

The store was very busy and then the cashier computer locked up it took 5 people to fix the problem I was in line for over 20 minutes which was crazy cause the lines in the store were long and just had 4 cashiers open but had people standing and talking thats real crazy u need better manager

Staff is pleasant and follows Covid19 safety protocol and place is clean and organized. I found the spice that I needed (whole allspice) and I happily found an item that my other grocery store stopped carrying (Pearls jalapeno stuffed olives) and stocked up on some other items while there.

Closing 20 minutes early even when a customer is at the entrance is definitely not cool. No consideration even after explaining only two items were needed, registers werent off so that wasnt the reason

This is smaller than a typical grocery store in this part of the world. The prices seem to be higher than Shoprite. The place was clean and fully stocked. Also, there are never lines at the register. Awesome.

I really like the recent changes they have made! I was able to find so many healthy items that work for my keto diet which is usually a big struggle! It amazes me the amount of selection they fit into a smaller store.

I shop here weekly. I find they have great sales and a good assortment of foods me and my children like to buy. I always have friendly service from the minute I walk in the store. They have a staff member standing near the entrance and exit to keep track of how many people are in the store at one time. They require a face mask for service. They provide hand sanitizer pumps at the store enterence and sanitizer wipes for the carts as well.

I love shopping here including the customer service that allows me to find the items that I have a hard time finding at other stores

Just did a quick Saturday food run to Food Lion. Found everything on the list and one item was BOGO. Grand Kids have a separate menu. Getting in and out was a snap. Cashier was polite and helpful.

Not very crowded, but only 2 checkout lanes open and no express. Waited 20 minutes in line with 2 items. I will stay with Acme and Giant.

It appears Manager is very nice, who organized and skilled at managing his employees who are always pleasant and helpful Store is always stocked and have very reasonable prices.It is nice to have another conveniently located Supermarket to shop at. But could improve or their red meat quality.

I wonder how long it will be, until Food Lion will require to see their customers vaccine and medical records BEFORE we are allowed to shop for food? Where did HIPPA go?? Where did medical privacy go?? Where did our right to make choices about our OWN medical health go?? At the rate we are going, the state can mandate whatever they want and food lion employees will carry out these unconstitutional mandates, for the sake of their paychecks. When people start allowing the government (who profit off of masks and vaccines) to start making health decisions for everyone......we are headed down a dark path. The government is not supossed to control its people....the people are supossed to control the government. Covid has a 99.98% survival rate. The virus has never been isolated. The virus was patented decades ago for the sake of making millions off of vaccines, tests and anything related to the virus patent. The PCR tests cannot diagnose anything. The maker of the test, Kerry Mullis clearly stated that a PCR test cannot be used to diagnose. True pandemics dont require monetary incentives, liberal death counts, fudging of numbers, threats, censorship, marketing ploys, definition changes, fact checkers who are paid for by the Gates foundation, media fear mongering paid for by the Gates foundation, and on and on. If we were in a true pandemic, it would be obvious by merely looking around at your reality. Covid is a Trojan horse used to usher in communism and Food lion employees are going along with it for the sake of their paychecks. Its sad.

Great weekly deals and low everyday prices. This was my first trip there and I will be going back definitely.

Been going here for years and I must say they have The GREATEST Prices on frozen dinners, condiments, granola bar stuff and so much more when they are on sale and people are always nice. only had 3 incidents where someone was rude to me out of 10 years going their and they dont work their anymore. Definitely reccomend going their!

I mean, its ok to run in to pick up a few things but not somewhere you would do it weekly shopping, in my opinion. Not enough choices, staff is friendly, not a bad store.

Reasonably priced, convenient grocery store. The new white boy needs to pay more attention to bagging and checking out than trying to flirt with the pretty white girl at the next checkout lane. I had less than 12 items but took him forever to bag my items, didnt engage in conversation with me, and I had to remind him to scan my Food Lion card.

We love the store and the people, weve been shopping there since it opened. But the reason I gave 3 stars is because of the bad staff now. The cashiers steal! They hold the good produce for themselves price it for themselves to buy and put the rotten produce on shelves. Such a shame and its a good store but could be better. They need the first black manager they had he was a great superb manager.
