I will definitely be going back & looking forward to checking out their other locations. My first time going was on a Thurs & I was worried there would be nothing good left. Im sure right after restock is the best time but I DID still snag some amazing deals! Thurs is $1 per item so I bought 30 items for $30!! Each item i paid $1 for I definitely would have paid about $7 an up for anywhere else. It takes time to dig through all the bins but so worth it!

I love this store youll never know what youre going to find but youre sure to find something that youll like my favorite day is $0.25 day because you can find things valued normally way way way above 25 cents. Its not like youre getting pencils and the racers you get like Bluetooth keyboards and lightning chargers and theres so much more and they have an app to receive rewards and so much more they have a golden ticket for the $5 day on Saturday on whatever day it is that you pick to visit but one things for sure you most definitely should take the time out and visitGimme A 5

Terrible experience. Ive been multiple times and have had zero issues until now. I figure a negative review is more informative then a good one. The cashier threatened to call law enforcement on my mother-in-law for having too many items in her bag. However, not 5 minutes earlier they had no problem with any body else filling their bag with items. Probably wont shop here anymore. For what its worth, my mother-in-law doesnt speak English as a first language and gave her a hard time for that to begin with.

Although the $5 day is always the it day that serve stores name the best, I only go there on $0.25 Fridays. I am a teacher and a mom so, you get the pictures of why I love this place so much. I boast about this place all over the world lol.

Tried coming here for a Friday! Wow, was able to find things I didnt need for $.25c each!! Sat, Sun, Mon are $5, Tues and down becomes less by a buck... $4, $3, $2, etc. Only been on a Friday. Be careful not to get cut, so wear work gloves or surgeons gloves.

I am usually impressed with my finds. You need an open mind when you arrive. There is no rhythm or reason just be think about how you could repurpose your finds.

Gimme A 5 is definitely a mixed bag. It is not the cleanest or most well-maintained, but there are gloves to use, and the staff are helpful and polite. Overall, most of it is useless, but there are some good finds, and rifling through the bins can be a fun way to kill time. Protip: the $5 day is when you can find the best products if you’re willing to pay a bit more (see attached pic).

Gimme A $5 is a Great place to find a bargain Clarksville. Located in the same shopping center as Kroger on Madison Street. I love going on .25 cent day. You never know what you will find. They have a place to plug items in to test it, to make sure it works before you buy it. The staff is very helpful and kind. They try to keep boxes and items picked up and as clean as possible. Keep in mind this is a bulk discount store so children need to be watched carefully while shopping. I love shopping here!

Im giving this place 5 stars purely for the clothing side. You can truly find some gems but the other side isnt usually for me. Both stores get good stuff but the relaxed clothes shopping is easier than digging through bins.

You have to dig in bins and search for the best items. I have gotten some really good deals. Last trip I found a hamilton beach blender, a pur air purifier, and a black and decker brew n go coffeemaker for 2 dollars each. Make sure you wear gloves because you will be handling stuff hundreds of other hands have touched.

I have always loved coming to Gimme 5!! They have such amazing deals!! I was so upset when I came tonight. I rushed clear across town to look for 1 thing. I made it with 10 minutes to spare. There were 2 gentlemen working. They locked the door and told me they were closed. It was 6:49PM to be exact. I said, “ no you don’t close until 7pm” He stated”not no more. We close at 6:50” I took a picture of the door that stated the hours. It said on the door and online that Gimme 5 closes at 7:00PM. I will not ever come back. I was so disappointed and upset at the lie and customer service. The individuals working tonight did not represent Gimme 5 in an ethical professional manner. Shame on them! I have pictures of the time and individuals that refused to let me shop during business hours.

This place is always overcrowded, and dirty. Although they do try to remove things that are broken. Its a good place to get a cheap buy on things though.

You have some really nice, hardworking employees, always polite and helpful. Unfortunately, I met your employee that is the exception to that rule. I wish thatI had gotten the bully’s name, but he is hard not to recognize. He is the one on the speaker every fiveMinutes, threatening to throw customers out on their ears personally, attempting to be cute for the ladies and himself, and only showing his ignorance and lack of professionalism. There is no excuse for rudeness.

I purchased 24 items but the employee wrote 26 on the bag. The store can definitely use some organization in other to facilitate shopping. Someone should be at the door handing out at least one glove for protection.

Fun place to shop, when you have time to search. You never know what you will find for super cheap. Be sure to test everything before you purchase it, they have charging stations near the entrance, if something doesnt work or you dont want it just place it back in the bin. Best time to go is restock days or the day after. But even on $1 and .25 cent days you can still sometimes find good items.

I still shop there but the stock has slowly declined in value for the money ..stock for resellers has just about disappeared .. previously would spend $140+ now can hardly find $30 worth. Good store for individuals wanting things for family

You can find some really spectacular treasures at this place, however it is pretty much chaos from the moment you walk through the door. I definitely would not recommend this place if odd and intrusive people tend to bother you. Its insanity but pretty awesome.

Different days with different prices.Friday ,everything is only 25 cents but you need to find the things you like from every messy metal cases.Saturday and sunday everything is 5 dollars,with full package,most are new but you still need to check carefully,especially electrical items.They have various products ,toys,home decorations,books,kitchen stuffs,everything you might need.The only one bad is the dust.its quite dirty because there are so many items and so many people in the store at the same time.but if you enjoy the great deals with so cheap price,the dust is not a big problem

This place have great management and a wonderful staff! I am just not sure how one guy has had an early shopper for 2 months straight. You can still find some good things, but sucks seeing the same guy hit the jackpot every weekend!

Ive had some really good finds here. You do have to do some digging. I recommend taking gloves. Oh and take cash. You have to spend at least $10 to use your credit or debit card.

Good if you like to dog through bins. They try to keep it clean but people are not the nicest there when digging through bin. The staff is great, but it gets crowded fast and the people can act like vultures. Definitely not a place for young kids to go with you. Also the bins can be sharp and tear clothing. But you can find good stuff at a great price.

Went to the gimme 5 clothing store in Clarksville. $1 on everything today. We got a couple costumes for the kids. Not a big selection today. They do not have rolling baskets. Had to carry the bag around. They do not have a bathroom. Had to walk to Kroger.

This place is awesome. Go to there web page and it will tell you about there treasure hunt day, how to get a free item if the preditors score 5 points over the opposing team, how restock days have the best items, how much items are for each day of the week and so much more. You really need to go check it out.

Really good people

You have to be able to dig through multiple bins. Never know what you will find. On Saturday and Sunday everything is$5. Monday all items are$3. As the week progresses the price drops. Later in the week things are cheaper but they are also more picked over. It also DOES NOT have public restrooms.

Just like others have stated, this place has lots of stuff. You can find some good deals if you dont mind really having to search for it. Make sure you bring hand sanitizer with you. The bins can sometimes be wet and dirty. As this review is completely my opinion of the store, it was not my cup of tea.

Not a fan of digging through the bins. Would suggest putting all same items in same bin or a couple of same item.

Gimme A 5 is my favorite place to shop. I Love the staff there, they have always treated me like a friend. The bargains are very much worth digging through the Bens. I have gotten there at opening and stayed until closing. That is how much I Love that store. Today I walked out of there with all kinds of new shirts and a couple of dresses for $1.00 each. You cant do that at any other store I know of. It is the bomb!! I would give this store 10 stars if I could.

Lots of stuff to rifle thru as big containers full of returned retail items wait for you to dig deep until you find something you cant live without. .25cents up to $5 depends on the day you go.

If youre up for digging for a deal, then this is a great place. There can be some interesting things to be had. But dont go if you dont have at least an hour to kill. Everything is arranged in large metal cage like bins. The items are dirty and some things are broken. The workers try to remove trash and hazards from the bins, but theres just too many. Digging through, I have found everything from car rotors to adult toys, socks to a bag full of pens labeled none of these work. A lot of items are from Wish or Aliexpress and some still had addresses on them. Gloves are provided or take your own as you will leave with grime on your hands. Its a great place to say, Ive gone, Ive seen, I probably wont be back.

This was the first time I have been to this store in Clarksville and it will be the last. Not only from the nasty building , rude people and employees . They had the baskets within 1 1/2 to 2 apart and you had to rub on someone just to get by and they had plenty of room to move them around. Just damn lazy people. Oh and on .25 day in Jackson its also fill a bag for $10.00 but I ask and employee and they told me that its up to the manager to say when and some times they dont. Hell what does it hurt for them to do that ? As I said before I will never go back to that store and if I was the owner of that store I would be asking some questions from the shoppers of how they feel.

Not organized or clean at all, but they dont advertise that they are. I got 40 items Im decent condition (dirty but functional) for $10! Id go again, not my first bargain shopping stop in Clarksville though.

You are opening new stores all over Tennessee, and allowing the store in Lebanon tn on the square to suffer.. all you send to that store for the past 5months is swim wear and shoes.. come on.. where are the sheets drapes rugs etc that we are use to seeing here in this location.. l thing that you are sending all of the good stuff to your new stores to beef up the sales.. and your dedicated CUSTOMERS here in Lebanon are suffering.. you can do better!!

My husband & l have been going here since the day they opened the Clarksville store in 2016. Weve met some pretty awesome people, made some new friends along the way, with both GA5 employees & shoppers.. Plus we (mainly my husband) have found some amazing deals on items you wouldnt believe.Love this place.

Timing is critical at this store! You want to get there as soon as they open. Really good deals, but you have to be prepared to spend a couple of hours in there! I am definitely going back!

The same people go every week and hog up everything good and leaving junk for the others. All they do is buy and resale and work in packs. Its annoying

This store is mostly junk but you really can find treasure when you dig. I was fortunate to find a HDMI cable, PC fan, several fishing lures and baits, and a neck massager that seems to be great at massaging anything but that. On their new load day there are TVs and many more awesome items. If you need kid toys like coloring books, stickers, or silly toys, this is a great place to find them as well.

Great deals on a wide variety of items. You have to work for it, but spare charging cords and other odds and ends are super affordable. This is bottom bin stuff, crushed packaging, unlabeled shipping boxes, but a vast array of stuff to sift through. My first time in I found items I had been wanting but wasnt willing to spend the money on, so I got to try them out for less than five bucks a piece!

This place has really gone downhill. I had not gone there for several months but I went this past week and was very disappointed. I got there about 45 minutes before they were closing and as soon as I got inside, they started making announcements on the intercom reminding people what time they close and to make sure they were up front at least 10 minutes before closing to get checked out. The person making the announcement was also the main manager whos been there since they open. I thought to myself, thats not very inviting if somebody is coming in trying to shop when it sounds like theyre trying to make you leave as soon as you get there. Anyway, I bought a bag full of stuff and left. I came back 2 days later on restock day late in the evening and it seemed like 90% of the stuff in the bins was the same stuff that was in there two days prior, a lot of things that was probably not even worth a quarter, much less $5. Too much junk to sift through to find anything worth buying. After looking for about 10 or 15 minutes, I left without buying anything ad I could not find a single item worth $5. Tonight was just the icing on the cake. I just happened to be on that side of town and thought I would swing in before they close. I walked in the door about 6:45 and the first thing I heard as I walked in as were about to close. A questionrf the man or young lady or whoever it was as timeto what time they close as their sign on the outside of the door stated they close at 7. The young lady who I found out to be the manager on duty proceeded to tell me that they close the sales floor at 10 minutes to the hour to give people time to go through their stuff and check it before they ring out. First of all, that makes no sense. They should be looking at the items as they are taking them out of the bins instead of checking them later. Second of all, I still had plenty of time to shop before closing and was very put off by the way the employees acted. I made sure to let them know that that was very poor customer service to immediately tell somebody theyre closing when they walk in the door 15 minutes before your scheduled closing time. Why would I ever want to come back here when all your employees are concerned about his leaving on time or even early instead of taking care of customers. Im sure that they do not care as they are just getting paid by the hour anyway. Im sure my review will not make any difference as there will always be people that will put up with this type of poor service and shop there any way to find a bargain. I on the other hand, do not have to shop there and I expect an establishment to provide better customer service than I received. Ive been in retail for over 30 years so I know a thing or two about customer service. Hopefully you will make changes.12-3-2019
