Mistook this place for another establishment. Asked the guy there if he sold firearms. He said no. I figured Id take a look around anyway as Ive always been interested in this sport. I asked the gentleman how his day was and he responded with same as you. I tried to make conversation and he brushed me off as if he had no interest. I still said have a nice day and received a cordial yep as I walk out the door. Terrible service, and interest in learning and quite possibly purchasing a bow went out the door with me. Will not return.

Went in to pick up a new bow. Got it all set up for me, and zeroed. The experience shows in the attention to detail, and coaching. Thank you!

I have purchased multiple bows from Mr.Billy and Mr.John as well. They have been nothing but helpful extremely knowledgeable about their profession. CK outfitters is the only TRUE bow shop in Clarksville. Can’t beat the quality work they do! Love this place

Walked in and was the first customer. Owner helped me get tuned to accommodate and new medical condition.Timed, tuned, removed the peep, shortened the draw, added a kisser and gave some pointers as I was trying to get used to a new anchor set point and all.Did all of this and was helping others. He was honest from the get-go and is not one to “blow-smoke”. I watched his professional mannerisms towards people that were looking/potential customers and people that had bows in there hands that were in need of his expert touch. Everyone was treated with respect, honesty, and straightforward answers.-He won my business for the time I’m stationed here.-Price was on par with other shops I’ve used in other states.

Came in with a new bow yesterday and needed help timing, tuning, etc. Billy was a great help and took time out of his day to discuss some archery basics with me. Today he cut down my arrows and I used their range, and he also helped me zero the sight on the bow.I would recommend checking out this store before going online for a bow, because if you buy through CK they will set the bow up for free. So check out their inventory first, its all fairly priced.Overall, in my experience Billy and John are the most professional and knowledgeable in this field and they are strict when it comes to quality. They put alot of time and effort into your bow and they wont let it leave the store until it satisfies their high standards.I will be exclusively be going to Billy and John for all my archery needs. Great help and knowledgeable people.

I am very sorry for calling and inconviencing you with my questions. You may have had a bad day, but at the end of the day you should reassure your customers! You did not even bother / offer to take down my number, and get back to me with the info requested. As such if you treat all your Mathews customers that way, I am not sure how you are still a dealer for them. Perhaps I will hop in my truck and resort to a 2 hr radius in which to find a more helpful dealer. As an Edit, perhaps get with the times, when I came in to check for Stabilizer weights you could remember that most are 5/16-24 thread (industry standard) and not espouse I dont know, they are all different... well way to make the customer feel welcome and supported... I am sure the Companies of which products feel you to be a real peach to deal with!

Great place took me to school . I stop by to look and ask some questions about my bow. Well it was old and now I have a new Hoyt. I came from YantisTx to get my bow 676 mile that should say something about these guy. Set it up for me turned it for me and I couldnt be happier.i will drive for the service and knowledge they have thanks again CK Outfitters

Great experience with this shop before I even walked in. My son wanted his first real starter bow for his birthday, and I realized that buying one online wouldnt be smart, he needed to physically try some bows so we could make sure they were his size and he could pull them. I called every archery store within two hours of Clarksville, and if they answered the phone, most people were kind of rude, disinterested, quick to tell me I could not get a full set-up for at least a month, or were dead-set on selling me something way too advanced for my little archer. I called this shop, and not only was the owner cheerful and helpful over the phone, he gave me an honest account of his prices and inventory over the phone (unlike some others, that wanted me to drive 2 hours just to look). He said he may not have what I thought I wanted in his shop, but was pretty sure we could make something work.The shop was very busy when I arrived, there were even other children being fitted for bows, but the owner did a really good job of giving everyone friendly customer service even though he was the only person there. We ended up buying something that was way better for my sons needs than the type of bow I had originally asked about, and he took the time to adjust everything to my sons weight and height, then taught my son how to use it and some basics of bow safety. I dont know a lot about bows, and he said when the time comes, I can bring it back to him with help making adjustments or restringing it, if necessary. He even recommended where I could shop elsewhere for some accessories he didnt have in stock in youth size. Overall, a good experience, and a happy birthday for my 9 year old!

Always helpful and very reliable archery shop, theyll work on any bow and work with you to help get you back in the woods or on the range quick. Ive had many services from new strings and tuning to buying a new bow. You wont leave with a poor shooting bow, always excellent service from both John and Billy.

Very pleased with the staffing here. They are very knowledgeable on how to set up a bow. They repaired every error and damaged created by Clarksville Guns and Archery. The next time I buy a bow, it will be from this shop. They offer high quality products. They have the best releases, sights, stabilizers and quality bows. CK’s has upgraded their targets. I came here to get a minor repair done to my bow, and not only did the problem get fixed quickly, but they showed me how to keep it from happening again. The gentlemen working there were very knowledgeable and friendly, and they even let me shoot a couple of arrows in the indoor range to make sure everything was working right! Ill definitely be coming to them for all of my archery related needs!

New archer here, just wanted to give a review on the shop. It wasnt John that helped me, but another gentleman whose name I just forgot, but he was a great help. Real friendly and helpful, took the time to set me up. Ill be coming back, definitely.

I recently purchased a Hoyt powermax from John at CK and they have went above and beyond helping me with every step of the process, from mounting all the accessories for my bow, to getting it sighted in at 20 yards at their indoor range. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and just all around good people. If I could give them 6 stars I would. I definitely recommend this shop to anyone, beginner to advanced shooters.

I just purchased my first bow in 20 years and couldnt have had a better experience. I was impressed that on my initial visit I didnt feel pressured into specific models or getting my order in that day. I had a budget to work with and John gave me plenty of options to choose from, almost an overwhelming amount of info but in a way that made sense.The day I took delivery he was quite busy with 3 sets of other customers but manage to juggle all of us. He spent the afternoon working with me on my bonehead mistakes while tweaking and tuning the bow to me. This will be the home for all my archery needs.

Awesome experience. John was very helpful and professional. He helped equip my Mathews Halon 6 to make it fit my budget. Will definitely shop here again.

Walked in with my wife and daughter to look at some bows as well as see if my wife was better left or right handed, as she has had many surgerys and is ambidextrous. The gentleman there was completely rude, insulting, and would not listen to what i was trying to accomplish for my wife. If it was not for the fact that he had a few left handed bows to try, we would have walked out. After we left my wife and my daughter asked that we never return there again and we will not, nor will I recommend this shop.
