Went in yesterday and had a wonderful experience. The two ladys at the front desk where very helpful and very nice. The doctor was vet good at explaining the process to me and told me what was wrong with my vision. My overall experience was tremendous. I highly recommend going here if you need to glasses. Will definitely be back to pick up my glasses.

I was impressed they were able to fit my daughter in for an eye exam on short notice. However, we were told the exam would be $70 but just received a $170 bill from them. Their explanation was that it was a medical exam not an eye exam. She read an eye chart with an assistant, saw the doctor for less than 5 minutes. Will take my business elsewhere in the future.

The best place I’ve ever gone to.Reed Optical was very thoughtful the day of my exam they called to me that a couple roads were closed thank goodness or I would have missed my time.The staff is friendly and always make me feel comfortable. They also don’t make you feel like you are holding them up. I think in today’s society that kind of service is far and few between.Thank you all at Reed Optical

I called Reed Optical because I ran out of contact lenses and needed to get an eye exam quickly. They were able to accommodate my schedule, and I was very impressed with the professionalism of the staff.

I have been going to Reeds for 16 years. Extremely attentive physicians and staff. Excellent and fast service. Great selection of frames.

I will not use these people again. My exam went so quick. I told the doctor it was blurry, but he rushed me out. Glasses came two weeks later. First time with no-line bifocals. Going home I cant read road signs. Get home and cant read the numbers on alarm clock. Call them. The lady tells me I need to get used to them and to wear them for two weeks. I try to tell her that I cannot see clearly at all. Finally get another appointment for a week later. Doctor asks what is the problem. I said I cannot see clearly. He says, but you can read it, so you can see it. I say, but not clearly. He shrugged. Then he did a new exam. Guess what? Prescription was different cause this time I wouldnt tell him a single letter until it was clear. Another two weeks and finally my glasses come. The lady says, the doctor tweaked the prescription for you. No. It was a new prescription because he got it wrong the first time. They never apologized.

The very first time I went(2016) they were great. This time(2017)? They have been AWFUL. I live 60mi away, one way. I made the I totally trip for an exam and ended up with 10 days of trial contacts. I realized 6 days in that I had only received 7 days of trials. I called, placed an order(I thought) for a box and arranged to pick up another box of trials. *Second 120mi round trip* Picked up the trials and went homr to wait for my box to come in. I opened the trials only to see that they clearly state for Astigmatism (which I dont have!!) And realize that these contacts are worthless to me and I wasted 120mi round trip. Excellent! So I called again to find out what to do only to discover that no one had ordered my box of contacts and that will happen soon now, and the box wont arrive until next week. I was instructed to get solution and just keep wearing my trial Daily Disposable lenses until my box comes in.Well that came in today! Yay! At this point my contacts hurt since its been a week, but theyre all I have. So I drive down 60mi down again and arrive at 5:55pm on a Tuesday during a snow/sleet/freezing rain storm. I made the drive because I need this box badly, my eyes hurt. I park and walk up to the door....CLOSED. At this point I am LIVID. I now need to drive 60mi back home in this ridiculous storm and turn around in the morning to make a FOURTH 120mi round trip!!The girl on the first visit argued with me about what my insurance told me they would cover - which didnt apply to the current visit anyways so Im not sure why she was arguing. And the woman who screwed up the trial box(by giving me the astigmatism trials) refused to ship my box of contacts to my house for my troubles. Honestly, at this point I will never come back to this location and maybe never again to a Reed Optical.3/24-Called to get my glasses prescription and spoke to Carmen. RUDE. She had a snotty attitude from second one. This place just keeps digging a deeper hole.

Scheduled an appointment for my husband in Newbury and at the last moment asked if they could fit my daughter in as well, and they could. Loved the attention from the staff and the follow thru. Great addition to the Newbury area.

Was running less than ten min late and they canceled my appointment I have kids and a full time job working overnights this was extremely hard to set up not impressed
