Its gamestop, so it has its positives and negatives.Storewise: fairly clean, the staff Ive met have been informative and friendly, as with most gamestops now they have a decent sized amount of gaming collectors stuff ie funko pops, Mario monopoly, Zelda socks.As a gamestop in general: gamestop is a corporate game store, you can get all the big titles at regular price as well as sometimes having older titles available for purchase. Decent online store with a bunch of exclusive items. Pro rewards for subscription members.Negatives: the value of games or systems you trade in are severely devalued by gamestop. A 200$ game from Playstation 1 Era will net you around 10$ if your lucky.Its a CORPORATE store, so take that as you will.To summarize though, I recommend if your looking for exclusive collectors content, looking to buy or pre-order physical games, consoles or accessories, or just looking for some information on gaming things.I would not recommend using the in store trading for games or consoles.

The staff at the Claremont store are highly knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. They have searched for extra discounts and deals that I did not know I could get before I checked out to make sure I got the most bang for my buck. Always a good visit!

Went here to get a new game... found my game right off...was in and out of there in less than 10 minutes... fast, friendly service.

Its a good, clean store. The staff is very helpful and will offer to order games for you if they dont have it in-store. A bit small so the walking areas are narrow, and no public restroom.

Thank God they have good people. As far as used products....not so good. Yes, they will exchange and give you your money back, but after trying out 2 PS3 remotes and having to bring both back for a grand total of 2 hours of driving and gas, I will never buy anything like that from them again. They obviously cant refund your gas and time. Ordered from Amazon instead. Was $30 less and it works.

They never answer their phone at this store. I called 11 times today at different times. Smh 😡👎Also bought a used Kinect for my daughters Xbox s and the adapter didnt even come with it. Even though the kinect on the site without the adapter is 12.99 used I paid 40.00 for a used one with no adapter.That just seems wrong to me. Smh

Nice shop knowledgeable staff

Recently visited this location and was very appalled by the service. The associate that was there, Quinton, was very pushy and rude. He also wasnt wearing a name badge so I had to get his name off of the receipt. When my boyfriend and mother went to the register, he was very rude when she asked about a military discount. My mother is not one to argue with people but when she became frustrated that he was telling her that her service to our country was not good enough and only police officers get the discount, she had to leave the store.I will not be returning to this location unless he is not working. That amount of disrespect is appalling for a town that has a heavy military presence. He either needs an attitude check or a course in customer service. I will be calling the store manager to let her know of the experience we received.

I put an item on layaway, and told them when Id be in to pick it up, today on black Friday. I get there, ready to pay off the rest of the amount, and pick up my layaway item, and they tell me they dont have it in stock.. So that kind of defeated the purpose of a layaway, because I had already put money down on the item I wanted, and it wasnt even there. Then they tell me they wont have any in stock before the sales are over, and that I wouldnt get the sale price, even if I paid it off now, and waited for them to get one in. That the price would go back up to the original. Whats the point of layaway, if youre not going to LAY the item AWAY for me, when I put money down on it for you to do that. Thank you for selling the item I wanted, and screwing us both out of a deal.

Ok prices on used games and nothing else. Store full to overflowing with so much hideously overpriced merch that nobody would want.

Unknowledgable staff. I apparently needed to order a game as they had none in stock. So I happily did so and proceeded to go home and tell my teenager that although they didnt have any but that they ordered him 1 and it would arrive via the mail and he was ecstatic. Well imagine my little guys sad face when I had him read an email from Gamestop saying they had to refund my money since they were unable to supply it to me. Oddly however I looked on Amazon and its available for less. And this is the go to place for gaming. Not good.

They wanted my email address, i said i didnt want junk mail. They promised not to send me junk mail. They are liars and send me junk mail everyday. Liars say anything to push junk mail and i will never go there again not to mention they wont pick up the phone to fix the problem.

Unable to exchange not get a refund exchange a duplicate sky landers figure because they said that there were to many items to go through by looking up my rewards number. Grandparents got the same ones but did not give a receipt nor do they bother with reward cards. I usually have bad service at this location and will not renew my rewards membership or shop at this location in the future. So because I bought to many items you dont let a kid exchange some figures why be a good customer for crappy service.
