Obviously this is promoted at this location in natomas because you can see it’s multiple different hand writings this will be the last time I buy anything from this store. There is no reason someone should have to complain to management to get this removed!

Foodmaxx doesnt have eye appeal. Looks more like a warehouse than a supermarket. But, thats what you have to do if you want to keep your cost down. This isnt a store for snobs. Prices are reasonable and the advertised specials are worth the effort. I stock up when its a really good deal.

Decent prices. Convenient location and parking. There has been some upgrades to the again store. Sometimes the lines get long when there arent enough cashiers. But the staff is mostly friendly and I feel welcome at the store. Simple and reliable spot 👌

The design was amazing the taste was amazing and best of all my daughter loved them. Every one at the party was asking where I got them and saying how good they tasted and how Awesome they looked. Theres nothing intrinsically wrong about Foodmaxx, its just not a very inviting grocery store. Okay for that quick emergency run when one needs a gallon of milk stat.

They have a great selection of foods and produce. However, during rush hour theres a line of people waiting at checkout but only two or three of the eight registers are open.

By far one of the absolute worst grocery stores I have ever been to and seen in my life it was dirty it was incredibly understocked the prices were not correct on the items not to mention they were egregiously overpriced they had two small avocados for $5 as if if that was a bargain not to mention the fact that they were squishy mushy and actually splitting open and rotting right there openly to workers pass by looking for a directly at the vegetables. I wouldnt go back to her if I hadnt eaten in weeks and there was no other place to buy food in the world anyways heard they have a great Mexican Hispanic varieties

I usually do my grocery shopping at Walmart. But this Location is just far superior to any Walmart Supercenter or Neighborhood Market. The prices at Food Maxx are about $.50-$1.50 higher than Walmarts prices. But the quality of the produce and selection at Food Maxx is outstanding. And Im pretty sure they price match. Im just to lazy to follow through with that.

The cashier was rude.But its a grocery store so thats to be expected, because some people dont like their jobs.

Clean atmosphere, good produce, well stocked shelves, good customer service. Four stars is only because short staffed so longer lines for the time I went. However, the employees worked quickly while still being friendly and careful with items.

This location needs to add a Self Checkout, or at the very least, have/keep an Express Lane register open. They Never have enough cashiers, so lines are incredibly long! You end up having to wait behind people with cartloads of items, when all you have is one or two items to purchase! Its ridiculous!

Kimberly and Marina are wonderful people. They provide excellent customer support in the bakery.

Good prices!Cashier was fast and friendly. With only 1 register open with 5 people ahead of me she zipped right through them! The store had hella customers for being open so late, 11pm. By the time I was walking out they opened 2 more lanes. It was a smooth and easy.

At the beginning I liked foodmax because of low prices but I got disappointed today may 21, 2020. I bought a Lion Tri tip meat on sticker price $35.00 for 7lbs. But when I got home I started to cut and put it different portions of 1 1/2lbs. So we can eat it for different day but guess what cutting and cleaning I got 1 pound and half of tick fat which goes to wasted Which was hidden on the bottom of package Little waste its usually normal but 1 1/2lb. I hope they can do better.

The meat department has a very attractive meat case right now. I was in there today, looked awesome. Very clean and well packaged.

Surprisingly a great experience! Had a pluthera of produce, a swarray of deli and meats and cheese choices and the lines were....non existent! In, out..badda Bing! Excellent!

Outside of the tags being a little confusing to read, for me, its a great store for those on a budget. If their meat selection were better, Id probably go there more often than I do now. Just my opinion.

First time shopper at this store & chain this week. Went back next day to get more great bargains! Very thrilled to save so much money for my family.

This review is about Instacart not about Food Maxx. Instacart was used to deliver my order but the order never came. Five days later it was on my porch with rotten produce and with live maggots crawling in the empty chicken container. Instacart refunded the value for the order but so far has not given any explanation.

Sometimes I shop here, love the produce, however went in this morning and saw at least 3 employees not wearing masks or gloves. Probably not going back anytime soon. Too bad.

This is a great place to get groceries but the lines are crazy!

Always liked shopping there. Found great deal on Birthday cakes. Frosting tastes good too. Getting strawberry filled 1/2 sheet cake for 26.00. They have great sales on meat and vegetables.

Given that there are other reasonably close grocery options, this store is not up to par. It looks like a warehouse/club type of store on the interior, but has Safeway prices and liquor store selection. Their produce has taken a big step up from where it used to be, but there is better produce at a competitive price two blocks north at Safeway or Bel Air. I only shop here when Im willing to pay for the marginal convenience.

My cashier KRISTA was so nice. She always tells me to have Great day, She is so cheerful and sweet.Very nice to see.

Okay grocery store with the warehouse style inside. They have a pretty large meat department. The produce section usually has pretty fresh fruit and veggies. They have a very big selection of Mexican goods.

Older store but well stocked, well kept, recently partially remodeled, produce is decent, meats are great, decent service, huge array of different products. Great for Mexican cheeses, spices, meats, etc. Been going here since the 80s when it was Tom Thumb. Dont go at night.

Excellent customer service. I called ahead and requested an electric cart to use since I have limited Mobility. They were happy to bring one out to me in the parking lot. Upon checkout customer service followed me out to my vehicle and unloaded my shopping cart.
