There always open. Been going here to get donuts since I was a kid, they never disappoint!

Enjoyed their fresh donuts for the first time about 4 days ago and they were delicious. Honestly stopped in at about 2 in the morning and that is literally right after they had just made the fresh donuts for the day and had put them out on display so if you want them freshest Id say that is around the best time to go. Their fresh donut holes were great.

This place has been here forever! Minimal parking, as well as minimal seating inside, but they sure do have the best donut options in town. I recommend getting a maple bar with whipped cream.

This place is awesome! They always have the best donuts on offer 24 hours a day. Simply the best in Citrus Heights, period.Fritters, bear claws, twists, BACON ON MAPLE BAR! I mean, who does that? They do apparently! And its amazing, you have to try it.So friendly and polite. I love the staff. Prices are a little high, but they make the best donuts in town so Ill gladly pay for the quality.

So I ordered some sprinkles, and bars, and a lot of different flavors. This is what I get delivered. Disgusting. Oh and the latte killed me.

Last weekend was my first trip. Prices are decent and they are open 24/7 which Im sure is attractive to a niche group. I can tell they have many regulars who appreciate this donut shop.

Delicious donuts omg. Its so unassuming it took me a while to appreciate how good it is. It looks just like any other donut shop, so you expect it to taste like any other donut shop.. that is, for me at least, usually hit or miss depending on the day or time. Donut King is always a hit.Ive read that its best at 6am, but Ive had it at 9 in the morning, 3 in the afternoon, midnight... Its ALWAYS delicious.It also feels good to support a locally owned business. 👍👍

My brother told me this place has the best donuts but I didnt believe him at first because it doesnt look like much from the outside. But he was right, the donuts here are amazing! Much better than Crispy Kreme which was my usual favorite donut place. The donuts taste fresh and fluffy, not greasy. The service was great too.

On Fridays i get donuts for the guys at work. This place always has a great selection to choose from at 4:30 am when other donut shops are just opening. Best apple fritters around the area.

Unassuming building, decent selection, amazing flavor and texture! Boston Creme donut was nice and plump with pudding. Classic glazed had the flavor of Krispy Kreme but was twice the size. So good I am going back today to get some for the road!

We bought a whole assortment of donuts. Melt in your mouth. The man behind the counter was a very pleasant gentleman. It started to get busy as we were leaving. Next time we are traveling through the area, we plan to stop again.

Been going here a while, but today was particularly yummy. My Go Tos: Apple Fritters (the puffier the better), 2 dz. Donut Holes, Buttermilk Glazed, Blueberry, Old Fashioned, Maple Bar, Ham /Cheese Croissant, Chocolate Custard Filled. New Favorite: Cream Cheese Muffin. Its like a pound cake made love to a cheese danish. Talk about a happy trip to pound town. Now mentioning the cream center seems like a mistake; a terribly, delicious mistake.

They have the absolute best donuts in town and I love that theyre 24 hours cuz Im a night shifter but I went and got an iced latte and it was the worst strongest coffee Ive ever had i might as well have just drank a straight espresso shot because thats what it tasted likeI will definitely keep going and trying other coffees just because I really love their donuts and theyre the only place open 24 hrs hopefully the mocha will taste better

This is my favorite place to get apple fritters; they are big so I usually cut them in half. All of their other donuts are also really good! They have drinks but no dairy-free options for the coffee or thai tea. Tables if you wanna eat there and open 24 hours!!

The Best Donuts Ive EVER had! If you dont see what you are looking for, sometimes if youre brave enough to ask... youll find they were just made and in the back! Heavenly! Me, my husband and son got sick from eating their donuts. I would avoid this place. The staff in the back doesnt wear masks and they open and shut the donut cases putting their breath it. Should have been a red flag for us. Oh well, you learn as you go. AVOID THIS PLACE

This place is ok. Its also convenient because its open 24 hours a day. But it is crazy expensive. You are better bet is to go to family donuts on san juan and Fair Oaks boulevard....cheaper and better. No offense donut king.

This is definitely a hidden gem in Citrus Heights. I didnt expect much when I first walked in to be honest.But the place is clean, plenty of parking lots outside, easy to find. I choose the donut holes, eclair and a regular donut. The donut holes are awesomeeee. Im surprised. The total was like $4.7 something. I mean its just so cheap, too affordable for the quality. I’ll go back to try their coffee if I have a chance.

Great if you want Covid donuts, they dont require customers to wear masks and the employees dont wear them when making your food and have no safety measures to keep what comes out of their mouths off you food. I dont see why they wouldnt at least require employees to wear masks, there is a global respiratory based pandemic going on right now! They need better health practices and have permanently lost me and my wife as customers.(Would give 0 stars if I could)

Ive got a donut addiction, once eating 4 dozen donuts in 1 week. I enjoy exploring various donut shops. However, I always come back to this Donut King. You get what you pay for, which is quality substantial donuts, the large apple filled are my favorite. I just picked up my 2nd dozen this week and both boxes were extremely fresh and delicious. Im happy to support this business.
