Great place to pick projects, & gifts for crafty people

Great deals. Fun to walk through and most likely is going to have whatever craft need you came in for.

Clean and well organized. Tight aisles only wide enough for a single cart at a time on most spaces. 50-70% off deals on entire departments but a pattern for a vintage blouse will cost you over $20.00. Employees are friendly and helpful for the most part. Getting thru the cutting line can be a little nerve wracking, theyll only call your # once and if youre not in sight, theyll move to the next person immediately.

After searching 4 other stores for a specific bead, I went I to Joanns and found it there. 👍😁

I went with my daughter to look at what they had. We had a good time talking about what fabrics can be used for what. This is a great place for those who enjoy maki g clothes and other crafting things. This is a really nice location and super friendly. I definetly will be coming back to this location for my fabrics and templates.

We found most of what we needed, except the one item we specifically went there for, which we found out was clearanced out. Great store, though! We did get some good deals on art supplies. The store was clean and the employees were very friendly. And I had a great coupon on the Joann app on my phone for 50% off one item. Get the app so you dont have to hold on to paper coupons!

I am a super novice. I was greeted at the door. Everyone was helpful and never made me feel like I didnt know anything...which I dont. They even showed me where to get a 40% off coupon on their website. Great experience!

I purchased some vinyl for my circuit to do a project for my sweater but the difference between buying it on amazon and Joanna is a big difference... I whether by vinyl from amazon ... Because it was cheap hardly wouldnt stick to clean mat and not enough of vinyl that comes with there packaging ... But the fabric at Joanns go ...I love creating variety of items @zadecahemporium4u on facebook/Instagram.....I make a lot of items

I like JoAnns, just not this location. I asked the worker in fabrics if I could set down a large roll of fabric on the counter while I continued looking at fabrics. She told me that she couldnt guarantee it wouldnt get put away. Well, it was an hour before closing, the store was fairly empty, and she couldnt be bothered to maybe put a note on top of it stating do not put away?Nope, instead she suggested I send my 7yr old daughter all the way to the front of the store, where Id lose sight of her, to fetch me a shopping cart. Lol. I cant believe she actually offered my daughter up to be left unattended.Lazy, ambivalent, dense, and lack of customer focus/service, yeah, Id say this lady in fabrics is in the wrong line of work.

Yo! The Halloween selection is off the chains this year! Glow in the dark?! Also, gave the lady working there a tough time, no not that, what about this etc, she was patient with me and I feel I got exactly what I had in mind! Yes to this fabric shop!!!

This store is clean and well organized. I found tons of great prints I need for my small business and will be back to buy more in the near future. Staff was helpful finding me things I was looking for and directing me where I needed to go.

Very friendly and helpful employees, great selection of craft supplies, and a surprising amount of great deals with rotating clearance sections.

Asked for assistance finding something specific and cashier gave incorrect information and ignored me when I said I had been to that isle and nothing of that specific nature was available. I left without purchasing anything and disappointed at the rude experience.

Im vary disappointed.I would not give a star. Seems like you have to . I have called 2 times so far. It rang and rang, extra. No answer. So... Im going to have to drive 23 minutes to find out if they have in stock what I need. Not happy at all.If they dont have it, and wasted my gas. I probly wont be lived.

Ive gotten used to shopping at my Folsom location (which I love), so when I walked in to the fabric section in this store in Citrus Heights, I felt like a kid in a candy store. Add the kind employees, and the neat and orderly store... great shopping experience.

Went into Jo-Anns to get a sewing box and the price in the in the computer didnt match the price on the tag I discovered after I went home love the sewing box I dont want to get overcharged though I almost feel like you got to watch them a little bit.

Couldnt find childrens art trays.Now I have to go to that OTHER place.

You need to catch the sales on what you like otherwise its pricey. They carry Lion Brand which is why I look for the yarn sale. Online prices are better than in store, but they will price match.

Discount coupons are VERY confusing. I inevitably end up at check-out without the needed discount coupon. Why not just charge what things really cost and leave the smoke and mirrors at the curb?

Recently bought one of those little foam haunted houses here and when I got home I realized it was missing the instructions. I called and explained the situation and that I live 30 minutes away and they took the time on a busy Saturday morning to find the directions, scan them and email them to me. Amazing customer service! They also were very friendly and kind while I was in the store too!

No Stars, not a good day to go there. They had THREE (3) people on the floor. Two in the back and 1 checker. For fabric 10 people and counting, waiting for cuts. 1 checker, with 12 people in check out line. Sign said 90 people could come in. Whos going to take care of that many people.

My visit was great as always and found lots of great bargains. Especially liked buying quality flannel from wonderful selection for less than $3 a yard plus 25% off on top of that. Great price

My favorite JoAnns store. The staff is knowledgeable, kind, and friendly. Theyre well-organized, clean, and have plenty of stock to choose from. The only downside is that the fabric, among other things, are rather pricey.

I found everything I wanted including a little extra. I could spend hours in that store. The staff are really nice too.

Todays is March 1 2021 1:11, I want give minus stars but I cant, I was at the store trying to buy foam so they told me they foam is sold by the yard so I grabbed a couple of pieces it was already pre-cut, I go to the the cashier and waiting in line for 10 minutes (approximately) maybe less or maybe more so when I finally get to the cashier the guy told me you have to go back and get it Metter, so what is this a joke or what the pice is already precut and they want people wait on line and send then back and let it wait again, what is that why thy dont mark the pice how long they are when are already cut and let people take and dont make it wait playing time this is dumb I specially dont recommend this store 👎👎👎👎

I have never met people with a lower sense of urgency. The cut counter folks just seem to be work averse.

I will not be back.

It has taken me some time since the holiday season to write this review, as I wanted to give it a good clear mind, and a level head. Tight isles overflowing with product that one must maneuver through when passing individuals to move through the store. Staff were coarse and curt if they the could be bothered to be spoken to at all. No one at all could answer when, or if, more satin ribbon would be back on the shelf, and no one would/could find out/check for more.I know what youre thinking, dear reader. Youre thinking that the store must have been packed. Au contraire, there were only 5 people TOTAL including myself. There were more employees in the store than guests! Two at the Cut Table just talking...I will never, EVER, be back to this JOANN again. Back to the Sunrise store! Citrus Heights is much more friendly.

I bought material to make a blanket, my only problem was when I got home the material had been cut so uneven, I had to make my blanket 7 inches shorter than I had originally planned.

Customer service not friendly and very, very slow.

Was my first time in since before March and with masks on felt safe for a short visit.

Poor customer service...was in line with several other people, 2 cashiers, then went down to 1, with at least 8 people in line. One left to get an online order, another left to talk to people at the end of the line, and the only one that was checking, just got there, and couldnt multitask. He should not have answered the phone. He rung me up wrong, didnt get my online order.It was just all bad.

One cashier as usual with a like 2 isles deep. Poor guy was moving folks as fast and has chipper as he could be he gets 5 🌟This is a very busy store and it always has long lines due to staffing the front.

I love coming in here when I need yarn for my projects! They always have great sales and great prices! I also use the app which is super helpful when youre on a budget. Love Love Love. I love this Joannes in Citrus Heights it always has great deals on everything! The one in Folsom isnt my favorite. The Citrus heights Joannes has helpful and knowledgeable staff. I love their seasonal decor! It is not just fabrics and crafts. I come here for everything home!

I have yet to visit a Joanns that does not have the friendliest of staff. Love shopping here!

Ive never had a bad experience at the fabric cutting table. All my questions have been answered and I never felt like I was asking a dumb question. Been here half a dozen times purchasing fabric with my daughter to make dresses and other items. Were both new to sewing and have only done six or seven projects from patterns. The pattern selection area is well organized as are all the fabrics. It can be a bit overwhelming trying to make a choice. Overall layout of the store is easy to understand.

Staff are all fantastic! Almost like family !!!! Kind and helpful as always......keep up the good work everyone

Terrible transaction. Went to order a Cricut blade... which they had plenty of the papers showing it was available & to bring tag to the register. Went to the register & the cashier rang up the wrong blade even though I handed her the right tag for the blade I wanted. I realized it was the wrong blade when I got to my car, went back into the store to the same cashier. She was annoyed that I came back in after she gave me the wrong blade. Trinity, the cashier, did not apologize or anything for her mistake. Another cashier said she would take care of me. Only to find out the blade was not even available at the store. They refunded my money in cash not back to the same debit card I had just used to purchase it. So irritating & a total waste of my time!! Joanns never has the items I want in stock... even when it says its there online!!
