I heard a lot of amazing chatter about the Silverton Donut Shop, and after having lived in the area for a year I decided Id finally make a trip over there. Let me tell you, it was well worth it. Best yeast donut Ive ever had. Fluffy with a great yeast flavor and a subtle crunch on the outside that leaves you wanting nothing more than another bite. Really friendly service and a good selection for 10am from a small bakery. I would give it more than five stars if I could!

Call ahead before you go to make sure they’re actually open. We’ve tried to get donuts over a half dozen times from our neighborhood donut shop and only actually gotten them once. So just don’t waste your time driving all the way there to see a paper sign on the door.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. I have been a customer for years. This week I called to ordered donuts and Maggie told me they where not making apple fritters every day which are my family’s favorite. When I picked my order up she let me know they had made apple fritters !! I love this place and they have the best donuts in town !! This is why you support local businesses !!

Silverton Donut has the best donuts around. They are everything a fresh donut should be. They are made fresh and delicious and with a smile. No off the wall flavors just your old fashioned cake and yeast donuts made with great ingredients and love. Stop in and try them. But go early because they only make so many and when they are gone she closes.

Delicious classic donuts. The cake donuts are nice and moist with a slight crumble, while the yeast filled are airy with a crisp crust. If you’re lucky enough to get your hands on a cinnamon roll, it’s the best!

A hidden gem, this little donut shop has some of the best in the city. Their donuts are fresh, with a nice, crisp outside and a soft, fluffy inside - topped with all the favorites. Their hours are a bit unpredictable (when they sell out, they close), so its best to try to get there early. Everything is very reasonably priced, and the owner is delightful.

This place is a prime example of dont judge a book by the cover. These are some of the most unique and delicious donuts Ive had in my 38 years. Im sad I got there around 930 today bc the choices were limited. I got 2 fruit filled, 5 glazed and 5 chocolate dipped. Everyone at work loved them! We will be back for sure and next time get their earlier to get to try some of their other donuts.

Silverton Donut shop is an awesome experience with the freshest donuts, great coffee and manager Maggie is best. I bring my girls every Saturday and we sit at the counter to began our morning ritual. I am thankful there are still a few family friendly coffee shops that know your name when you enter like extended family.

9 in the morning and they are sold out?! Edit: to be fair theyre closed on Mondays BUT this hours of operation arent on their door so shame on me for expecting donuts at 9 AM on a Monday.

The facility is dirty, the donuts were too crispy, almost like they sat in grease while cooling. I ordered a Bavarian cream and it made it through half the donut before I found cream.

Seriously the best donuts and their apple fritter is fantastic! Just the right amount of apple and crispy sides with a soft middle. We love their bowties and clunkers as well. You have to arrive early for the best selection. No frills and their sole focus is on the donut.

This donut shop is pretty basic on the ambiance, but the donuts cannot be beat! They are vegetarian and kosher, too. The hours are a bit irregular. In addition to being closed on Mondays, there are days when they sell out very early in the day, or just dont open with only a sign on the door. Their facebook page and website are not updated with closings either.

This place used to be awesome. Great prices, great product. Now Im lucky to see them open at least 3 days out of the week... Went in the other morning when I was amazed to see the lights on. Prices went up higher than Buskins and donuts have gotten smaller. Im sure they are doing this to compensate for the days they are not opening.Sad to give this kind of review, but its all true.

Whats going on with your hours lately? Ive come by there twice to find you closed when youre typically open? I love the Donuts and prefer to bring them in to work for everyone....It has been a hassle coming out of my way to find you closed when youre suppose to be open. Frankly, it is disappointing. Please get back to the consistent hours you once had because you are currently losing customers, advertisement and money due to these sporadic hours. Outside of this problem: your donuts are great and your staff is excellent.

Doughnuts were good old fashioned doughnuts. I really enjoyed the cream filled. The cream was not very sweet which helped balance the doughnut.

I decided to drive a little extra distance for good donuts for National Donut day. I had heard good things about Silverton Donut Shop, so I decided to try them out. Open 5 to sold out, I rolled in about 8:30. The shop is non descript, featuring a simple sign. I drove past and doubled back. I eagerly entered the donut shop to find loyal customers in a line waiting their turn. The shop may literally fit the description of hole in the wall. The menu board is so old that all prices have fallen off - or have been torn off. You can see that due to sun fading, once upon a time donuts were $3 a dozen. $12 now. But I was happy to learn there is no upcharge for donuts other than glazed. They accept cash or credit. The taste reminded me of my home town bakery. Quality varied slightly., But freshness abundant. My twists seemed to not have risen completely. One glazed had been in fryer slightly too long. Overall, the change from manufactured donuts was refreshing. I tried only yeast donuts, as cake is not my thing. In the end, mom and pop feel and freshness are the big benefits.

Get here early. I wont say what mybfavirmy thing is here because you gotta be early to get them before they are gone. Youre paying for pure doughnut goodness, not for ambiance.

Donuts and coffee are great. Hours and customer service less so. The sign on the door says theyre item until 8pm, but after trying 3 times and finding them closed I found out that they close at noon, or earlier if they sell out. How about changing the sign, or, I dont know, maybe make more donuts? Then after asking if they had eggs (due to a child with egg allergies) in their dough and being told they didnt, I had to press a few times before she was willing to to go back and look at the ingredients! Her response was, oh, they only list egg whites. Those are eggs!

The people that work in here are amazing. They are very bubbly and very smart, they also are friendly and they give you a great start in the morning.

Formerly the Ridge Doughnut Shop that used to be in the UDF Plaza at the corner of Ridge an Montgomery Road.Always go for the klunkers! Doughnuts are made fresh daily, excellent quality. Plenty of beverage choices including milk, juice, freshly brewed coffee, and even buttermilk!Always smiling and cheerful service. Plenty of parking available especially on the side of the building. The location is easy to find on Montgomery Road in Silverton.
