I bought two parakeets here in late May. I was a little put off by how overcrowded their area was, so it kind of became a rescue situation. Associates gave us space while we tried to pick out two that seemed to get along, then helped us get them out despite being scared of the birds. I don’t regret getting my feathered friends, they’ve brought me so much joy for sure! I just wish they’d not have so many in a cubicle.

Like that you can pet all of the animals and take the dogs into the cubby to play with them but their dog prices are absolutely insane. It seems like they take advantage of impulsive decisions by allowing payments and thats why/how people pay such high amounts. I understand that they come with extras worth a decent amount but that still doesnt justify the amounts they charge for the animals.

$5900 for a puppyThat is ridiculous. They had a 50% off sign and they were still $2500. These poor little puppies need a good home but who can afford that price these days.

This place is really something, its very unique! Compared to other pet stores, if toure looking for well... pets! They have lots of puppies and bitlrds and bunnies and Guinea pigs! I havent seen cats tlyet, but it looks like they get em in? Lots of good stuff here! They font have fish, but if youre looking for mamal / avian pets deffinitely the place to check out! They seem to put a lot of care to their animals too!

This time I had to go to get a new hamster 🐹 there really cool little pets. They always have them there. Or almost every other small pets.

Staff is so welcoming and friendly! Got my australian shepherd here a couple weeks ago and have had the best experience! Tons of extras that come with the puppies, all the paperwork i could ask for and great health warranties. I would recommend anyone coming here for their next furbaby(:

$6,900 for a mistreated St. Bernard that bit my husband quite hard, INSANE! If you have that kind of cash to throw around, more power to you. We gladly paid $1,300 elsewhere. Our puppy is much nicer, as well. The staff was friendly and that’s the only the good thing about this over priced puppy mill.If you buy from here after reading all the horrible reviews, you get what you deserve. Had I known, I never would have walked through the doors with high hopes and excited children!

Cruel and unusual punishment for these poor dogs. They get to live & sleep in a 4X4 cage with plastic coated metal grates. With the average price of $4,000 for a dog they have no quick chance of a positive living environment. They must charge a premium I understand to keep riff raff from obtaining and mistreating them but $4,000 is a bit much.

Had a wonderful experience at Petland Eastgate. Came in unsure of what breed I wanted but knew the temperament of the dog I wanted. The store associate Brittany was so helpful. Incredibly knowledgeable showed me a few breeds that she thought would work with my lifestyle. She wasnt pushy at all and gave me my space. If youre looking for a dog ask for Brittany!

Went here today to look at animals and was so disappointed. We were run out of the store by employees trying to sell us overpriced dogs that we explicitly said we didn’t want. Tried to look at small animals and employee continued to harass us about buying a dog. Needless to say we left empty handed pretty quickly.

This place is absolutely terrible to buy a pet from. We fell in love with a puppy and decided to get the dog. 1 week later we had to take him to the vet for really bad kennel cough. Another week after that I was approached inside of Petland while buying puppy pads and was told I still owe on my dog. And a week after that I had to once again take my dog to the vet. Seriously do not ever waste your time and save your money by going to a breeder instead of Petland. This store is just a middle man that raises the prices and then 2 weeks later scams you of more money. Do not ever go here and I will 100% make sure everyone that I know looking for a animal will not go here

I am so pleased with my recent experience at Petland. I set an appointment to take a look at a teacup Pomeranian puppy. Although I had no intentions of adding to my family that day, Liz took the time to listen to my living situation and make recommendations that would be the best fit for my family while keeping my budget in mind. Per her recommendation, I instead adopted the tiniest and sweetest little Cava Chon puppy. I just got her in for her initial veterinary exam and she is doing great. I cannot wait to adopt another puppy from Petland in the future!

I got my dog from Petland and she is the best dog ever! Rachel really took the time to help me find a puppy that would work well in my apartment. Luna loves visiting the store and picking out toys!

We came in looking for a hamster for our son’s 8th birthday and ending up falling in love with a golden retriever. Nico is a wonderful addition to our family. We’ve had him for 1 month now and he already knows so many commands!

I love this dog to death, I honestly do. But someone else just wrote a review about how their dog had Giardia, and mine also tested positive for the parasite. This is frustrating because I too have other pets; not to mention its transferable to humans as well. I am super disappointed that this guy has to suffer like he is right now. Thankfully the vet said he will recover, which for some, doesnt happen. Youre really lucky I like this dog...

Giving them a 1 star is generous, the moment I stepped in i felt unwelcomed and judged. The staff was rude and hostile and the girl that was helping me was HORRIBLE. She was so rude and didnt help at all! I think the girl helping me was named Hannah or maybe even Becca cant remember just know it was something around that.

I waited to write this review until Cooper turned 1. I was looking everywhere for a Merle frenchie. My best friend sent me a link to the most adorable frenchie I’d ever seen. My boyfriend and I called to make sure he was still there and then took the 2 hour trip when they promised to hold him for us. The second we arrived, we could tell everyone was so excited for us to meet him. It was a dream come true meeting him. After we played with him for about 30 minutes, we knew he was meant to be in our family. We asked the woman helping us about the process and we were shocked with how much came with the puppy. She gave us the price which was more than I was expecting but Cooper has been worth every penny. We didn’t have enough cash on us but we were able to set up payments. We picked out a few things for him that we wanted. After that, we did paperwork(a lot lol) and we took cooper home. We were a little nervous with some of the reviews we saw but cooper has been healthy and incredibly smart since the day we got him. We had such a good experience that we went back and got a cream frenchie who has also been such a blessing! I can’t say enough about how grateful I am to have cooper! I will update again when cooper turns 2!

So sad they starve their animals and claim “it’s because they’re growing too fast” that is disgusting and all the people that support own or work at this place deserve to be abused the way those poor animals are

We were trying look for our next 2nd dog and when we asked if we could look at one the employee asked me straight out: are you buying it today??? And I asked if that was a requirement? Ans she said yes. And since I didnt say that I wanted to biy it today she refused to show us the dog.We took our business somewhere else.

Staff was highly rude. My friend and I went in and were talking about the puppies, and how they were expensive, and how they were from puppy mills. One of the staff turns to us and said if we weren’t pleased with the prices and that if we wanted to play with the puppies we could always go to the spca and spend it there. We weren’t complaining we were simply talking about the prices. They definitely lost out on a potential sale.

I would give 0 stars if I could. We adopted a puppy from here and she has GIARDIA!!!! Mind you they did this knowing I had another puppy at home and two small children!!Plus two different types of ear infections!!Also looked up their “breeder” and sure enough she came from a PUPPY MILL!! Boycott pet land!!The vet they recommend us to use has told me this is very common! So if you wanna spend triple the price for a puppy that isn’t healthy this is the place for you!!Posted this on their Facebook page and they deleted my comments warning other people!!

Cute puppies but beyond my price

I have been in this store a couple of times but I came in with my daughter a few days ago. I got help from multiple people but only one of them seemed like they actually cared. I first asked Hannah for the price of the golden retreiver and she told me the price and then walked away. Hannah was very careless and useless. Then a couple minutes later I think a girl named Katie, explained everything that the pups come with which was very helpful, so thakn you to her.

I purchased a mini beagle pup that weighed three and a half pounds. She appeared well at the store but when I brought her home. I quickly discovered that she had kennel cough. Her purchase contract said that she had to be seen by a vet in seven days. The promised free visit could not see her for 30. Thus violating her contract. I took her to my vet where she was given antibiotics and cough tabs.Lets talk about the puppy kit. It sounds helpful but is it? Probiotic chews, joint chews, skin and coat chews, vitamin chews, calming chews, for puppies weighing above 25 lb. Food, puppy pads, 2 toys, shampoo, bitter apple spray, carpet cleaner. The fast talkers make you believe its included. (Its not).The kit did not include a leash, a harness, a Kennel.Whats the Petland enhanced protection program? I thought it was insurance. Now I think its a replacement program should my puppy die.I think I actually paid her shipping from the Arkansas breeder.Beware its very deceptive. They give you grief if you try to return unneeded stuff. I exchanged it for food after my vet told me not to give her the chews.

Wouldn’t tell me the price of the Golden Retriever over the phone. No big deal I’ll come and take a look. At the store they drop the price tag of $6300.00!!!!! Yeah you read it right over 6 THOUSAND DOLLARS!!! Sad thing is there are people out there stupid enough to pay this price. So sad. I can’t believe this is the going price for a dog from a puppy mill. Even if it is a golden. Never going to waste my time again

Me and my girl went in here we hung out with a couple dogs found one we loved but realized it was way to much started to try to leave and a lady came up to us trying to press the dog on us and we gave in wasn’t explained much of anything didn’t realize there training they come with is just for you you don’t take them in anywhere it’s over the phone that’s the biggest reason I moved on it and they lied to us and now it’s a 750$ fee if you return even tho we was lied to about a bunch my first google review iv ever wrote but flat out will never return we cutting this wack petland card too.

Complete bait and switch which broke my 7 year old daughters heart!!! Was told over the phone a specific puppie would be there for us to look at and when we showed up that puppy just happened to find “ it’s forever home” right before we got there. Then let us sit for over an out with a different puppy that my child obviously fell in love with just to come back and tell us the dog is $5900 when we were quoted $2500 over the phone. My child is still understandably upset that we are not willling to fall for the bait and switch and left that store sobbing!!! Not a pet store more like a shady car dealership!!! Just look into shelters unless you plan on spending thousands for a puppy. Extremely disappointed and will never return to any pet land ever!!!

We bought our puppy from them in October, the lady at the store said our payment would be 150 spread across two cards the vive card and the petland card. We get home receive the cards and I sign things up so we have everything ready to pay and I notice that the bill is 50 more then they originally told us. Not only that but the interest charges on the vive card is 99 dollars after every time we make a minimum payment which no one ever told us.So fast forward to febuary, we pay off our accounts in full both of them with our tax money before the interest is suppose to happen again. Next thing I know a month later we get a call from petland saying that we owe them money. At first I thought it was a scammer, but it isnt. They still put the interest on the account even though we paid it in full, and charged us for a late fee and then smaller interest again for this month.The big selling point of us getting our dog from them was the garuntee that we could get another pet if anything happened to him, but to do so we have to buy his food from them x times per year and vitamins for his life. Didnt think that would be a horrible thing except our puppy hates their food and refused to continue eating it after less then a month so we had to switch him to something else. He also will not eat their vitamins at all even when I break it up into tiny pieces and try to hide it in his food.Next time we are just going to buy directly from a breeder because this was a headache, we paid over 5k for our dog, then find out from a breeder we could have gotten him from them for like 3k less.

Staff was friendly, however the entire store just made me uncomfortable and I couldnt bring myself to be in there longer than a few minutes. Expensive puppies that all looked absolutely msierable, small animals overcrowded in cages. Adopt dont shop.

Purchased a Boston Terrier puppy from this location. She is the best puppy we have ever owned. The adoption specialist helped us in the puppy selection process and they set you up with everything you need for successful dog ownership. Highly recommended.

All about the Bucks, and not the Pups. I did thankfully get my dog from them, but will never get another one. This is by definition of a Puppy Mill. Do not go there, do not buy food or products. All employees make commission on puppies and products. This store should not be in our community.

I held the cutest pups but as we were watching the other dogs, one of the employees grabbed a pup by their ears to get them out of the kennel. It’s sad how some of the puppies are treated.

They wouldn’t let us hold puppies. They act as if we are too young to know how to handle a DOG. We are not too young. I have even owned a puppy of my own and he is almost 3 and going strong bc I am responsible. So why did they not let me hold one?? Bc I am just TWO years too young. I never knew that could be a problem. Also, she was rude ab it. I didn’t like her. Could’ve at least been nicer ab it. She ruined my whole day.

TERRIBLE SERVICE! Pet land in east-gate needs to be shut down, workers are terribly rude. Manager walked right past me and didnt acknowledge us at all. I specifically remember this worker, Hannah, being extremely rude to one of her co workers.

Horrible... Every dog is priced around $6,000. Almost every dog looked sick. They looked very sad and mistreated. I held a dog and there was pee all over him. It is very clear the staff doesn’t care about the dogs and they obviously don’t take good care of them.

I bought two bunnies from them and they were both sick and when we called to ask about it they said they couldn’t do anything about it because they were 3 days over warranty and I took them to the vet and the vet said they both had upper respiratory infections that were there for 2 months and they died the next day

Keeps puppies in cages with nothing on the bottom. Looks uncomfortable. They also keep tons of hamsters in one cage and theyre supposed to live alone or they will hurt each other.

Lots of parking. Staff is very friendly. You can buy birds ferrets rabbits dogs and other animals there. Along with pet supplies.
