For a beer and wine cellar, its a cozy atmosphere that lends the customer to wander for longer than anticipated but in a good way! Its perfect for those who know what they want and for those who dont know what they want. The plethora of beer and wine allow for those who like a particular beer or wine likely to find it again here. My favorite place to buy beer. The selection is huge, both in singles and packs of beer, and the the employees are very knowledgeable and passionate and will always provide recommendations and advice if you ask for it.

I cant think of of a place with better beer selection in town (Party Source, you remain the King of KY...). Root Cellar is always stocked with new and obscure gems from microbrews youve never heard of. Plus any of the classics you can think of.

This is such a little treasure of a local wine and beer shop. I went in for Ace Pineapple Cider, which can be hard to find. They had it in 12oz cans and I was very happy. If you are looking for a hard to find item, look here. They are always happy to help you look and find what you are looking for.

Its pretty much what you would expect. I stumbled in because Google maps brought it up when I searched forstate liquor store. They do have a little liquor, but mostly what you would find at a grocery. No, the emphasis is on wine and beer. The sign says the have 700 beers, and I would not argue with that. I dont know wine, but I was looking for a Port and found a nice one. I dont understand why the beers are sold as individual bottles, but it certainly lets you enjoy the variety. Everything looks clean and respectable. If youre looking for a beer and wine store, I cant see why you would want more.

Was looking for some specific seasonal varities of Wood Chuck cider so we called ahead to see what they had in stock. The guy working was very helpful over the phone and very pleasant once we actually went to pick the stuff up. Great selection and friendly service!

So many options! The variety of beer was impressive. I didnt even get to the back of the store before my cart was full. If you like to taste test before commiting to a 6 pack, they let you mix and match or just buy singles.

They’ve also always made good substitute suggestions when they are out of something I’ve once had from there before.

This is a good place if you like wine. But its not an actual liquor store so they only sell diluted vodka and things. But they have a very wide variety of wines and champagne to choose from so this place us decent and its right across the street from me

The root cellar has a great selection and a friendly and helpful staff! I went in and was recommended a great domestic IPA that is now my new favorite beer. I highly recommend this place!

Dont visit here often, but if youre in the mood for a different berr, this is the place! My laat trip here, i got an of Queen city hemps cbd seltzer, i got blood orange and my lady got lemon and lavender flavor. The guy behind the counter was nice and knowledgeable. Quite an eclectic arrangement of alcohol. You dont see many national brands here but I suspect thats not why you come to this place. If you are looking for something to drink off the beaten path try the root cellar.

Seems like it needs facelift/upgrade. Felt more like it should be called root basement vs root cellar. other than that, I guess it has a decent selection even though I didnt find what I was looking for.
